Unstaffed location, impossible to get any customer service. Make it very difficult to even see your charges - basically a place that just tries to nickel and dime you

Several issues. I reserved a space online only to show up with people to help, and my space was not available. Called 3 numbers as there is no one on site. It says call number on door to speak to property manager. The number was a general number that an agent answered from some other state. I stood there for 45 mins at the kiosk and then an agent popped up on screen to help me find a space because mine was no longer available. I had to accept another unit which was NOT climate controlled just so I could get my truck unloaded. Then, I already have a public storage lock, but they want to charge me for my lock. In order for me to get a refund, I need to call and they will find another location somewhere where I can return it. I have rented a public storage in years past and never any problems. This has been a terrible experience at Horton Dr.
Small site. It was okay. I didn't have a problem with bugs or anything. The issue is, they now have a kiosk. You can't speak to an actual person unless you catch them outside. I called to move my storage unit to a different size, once you hit the button to speak to someone, it took me right back to the prompts again. I drove up there, the kiosk has a feature to call to get a live person to come out. It never rang. No one came.
I reserved another unit online to switch to. There is not a feature to switch your storage, only to reserve a new one. They charge another lock and administrative fee. I finally saw a Manager outside. Told him what I was trying to do and what the online site was trying to charge me.
He stated I had to pay another lock fee because everything is now automated and they need to know that I have a lock... what?? I'm already renting here so I have to already have a lock..
I moved my storage across the street because of the lack of live help. Tthe Manager stated," they've had a few people come from public storage to them over the past few months. They are also almost at full capacity now and they are bigger site than the public storage site...
If everything is going automated, make sure it's customer friendly... you guys will be losing a lot of customers.

Renting a storage with this place is so easy and convenient! I really appreciate the convenience and their great customer service.
Rent will increase significantly after a few months... Beware! Also, the car dealership next door regularly parks cars in the road and right next to the gate, which can make it tricky to get in and out, especially with a trailer.
They obstruct cars at the entrance and they don't say anything and I pay the monthly fee put a sign not to obstruct the entrance, please
The people are pretty nice here. But one thing I don't like is needing someone to cut a lock and it don't happen, not even after a few weeks.
