I first (Sept 21) rented the space at 54.67 for 10x10 to begin with, my first months rent was not a dollar and I was charged a trivial amount approximately two and a half weeks later which was sooner than 30 days. So I did not rent for one month before the only $34.00 I had was charged to my bank account and it was declined and it showed that I was 34.00 negative. I left my auto pay on purposely because I was told that my rent was not due until 30 days. Later on the phone I was told that my rent was due on the 6th and that there was a 94.00 late fee. I vacated and cleaned my unit on the 6th. when I was there I received an orange sticker on my lock and everyone else had a black sticker on theirs, I asked why and they said they are not allowed to touch my lock which isn't true because I was standing inside when a grounds keeper tried to yank open the door so I slammed it shut. I parked my bicycle outside the door and went to the trash can on foot, when I returned my bicycle had been stolen. I did not pay the late fee my total due after cleaning my unit was 0.00. It is not a dollar for the first months rent and something also died inside my unit which I did not bring to their attention.

This is the worst storage facility I have ever used. They are completely automated with only a kiosk on location to handle problems. ( Not the case when I first moved in). So if I were to need anything on location or get attacked by some vagrant, there is no one on the site to take care of any problems. They claimed I did not pay one month and had me listed for “auction”. After trying for 45 minutes to get a live person to speak to, they “found” my on time payment. They had already cut my lock and put theirs on and told me I would have to take their lock to the kiosk and then pay for another one of my own. They increase the rent every year by exorbitant amounts with no discount or consideration for long time tenants. I have a space that is now at nearly $600 a month from a little over $200. AND if you move to another one of their locations, you do NOT get the advertised price, but the same outrageous price as before. I will get out of this company’s units as soon as I can schedule movers. Total rip off, incompetence, and greed. RUN!
Absolute disaster. Stay away! Used them for almost three years. Every few months our monthly rate increased. When we went to get our stuff out it was water damaged and covered in mold. It also had a different lock on than the one we placed on the door to lock it. We had to call a locksmith ($100) to get the lock removed. I have had to claim losses on my renters insurance. The storage company said they have NO responsibility to keep items dry, and/or mold free. There was water dripping from the ceiling. They also said that WE LOST OUR KEY, instead of it being removed by someone else. So now our renters insurance rates will increase and we have no recourse unless we want to pay out of pocket for an ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD worth of personal belongings and furniture.
Easy sign up and move in. Maintenance is lacking (air filters were last changed in 2014!!) and the move out process borders on fraud. The final month is NOT prorated and the policy is NOT disclosed.

Wasn’t bad when I first started renting here earlier this year. This is an automated location with no staff onsite so that can be a bit annoying if you have issues but isn’t a deal breaker.
The deal breaker is being here for 7 months and getting a notice in the mail my rent is going up…. 33%!!! My rent is moving from $98 a month, to $131 a month!! A 33% increase on rent, at a location that is automated and doesn’t even have staff on site?!? That’s just absolutely ridiculous and in my opinion, pure greed just like most these companies these days. Trying go to squeeze every penny they can out of everyone.
If the initial rent rates seem too good to be true, they’re probably going to hit you with a huge increase in a few months!! Steer clear!
I love that I can use my cell phone to open gates and doors. This may seem small, but other places make you type in long, complicated codes, something I really hate.
A lot has changed in 2 years. This place is horrible now. They’re now kiosk only, which means there is no one on site to help you. I’ve had numerous issues while moving units. They raise the rents at least quarterly, and mine doubled in two years. Now they also make you purchase their insurance that they tell you can be canceled, but can’t be. Another $30 per month. Nobody on-site to help you, and double the rent, plus expensive insurance. Used to love this place. Moving out as soon as I have the time, adding to the inconvenience factor I’d give zero stars if I could

Good service, clean facility
I brought my business partner here about three years ago and we had such a pleasant experience with our storage unit. Justin was amazing and helped to make the process smooth and ensured that the location and size of the unit met our needs. We have recently closed our unit but I was so pleased that I decided to rent one and got to work with Justin again! Same process, remembered me and bent over backwards to make sure I was happy when all was said and done. I really appreciate him and the time and effort he puts into his customer service!

I love Public Storage! I have been storing my stuff with them for years and they have been consistently helpful and have always taken care of any issues I have had, which have been few. Justin is great to work with! He is personable and professional and always available, and he knows how to help you get exactly what you need for your storage purposes. My family and I have been very pleased with their service. I wouldn't store my stuff with anyone else!
