Will charge you for 6 months after moving out and telling them them to cancel Cash grab scam business, never rent from this place unless you want to be screwed.

I needed storage for long term in the area. At first things were okay here. Then, soon after, they started raising rent. I started around $200/month. After about a year, they raised it all the way up to $400/month!!! Even though I was a long term tenant, and the price was WAY OVER market price, they didn't care. They rather try to milk tenants for anything and everything they can instead of keep them for longer. So of course I left this joke. I have multiple units at STORQUEST and have had them even longer than 1 year and they've only raised prices on my long term units by $20 over 2+ years of having them. Plus, STORQUEST has climate control. My stuff at public storage would always end up having dirt all over it and bugs because it being outdoor storage. I moved this storage from public storage to storquest and guess what... I got a BIGGER unit, CLIMATE CONTROLLED, and... IT WAS ABOUT HALF THE DAMN PRICE of what they were trying to charge me... $240 WITH INSURANCE for a 10x30... Public storage is a joke. It's sad that they do that to long term tenants. This review is for the company itself. NOT the people that work there. They were actually cool. They tried to help and even were on my side but their hands are tied because the corporate side makes all the calls. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL ALWAYS TELL OTHERS OF HOW THEY TRULY ARE. HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS OTHERS TO LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Leaving this review for Mike who is the BEST person to speak with. He is so incredibly friendly, upbeat, helpful and professional. I hired a locksmith who was so rude and berated Mike while Mike remained calm and non aggressive. His energy is infectious and Mike does a great job representing the company!!

The ONLY good thing about this place is the price and you can arguably find something comparable. There is limited parking, only 3 available carts, the inside always smells bad, the bathrooms are always disgusting and out of soap (I would not touch anything in that building that I didn't have to), and the "temp control" in the building is not consistent.

Used the 1st month for a $1 got 14 days then charged me another month month when my bill wasn't do and told me this is how corporate does it so u don't actually get ur 1st month at $1 100% scam

I had a great experience here. Christopher was very thorough. I was worried about completing my rental online because they make you pay for a lock. (A year ago I rented a unit on 44th in wheatridge and I never got a lock but paid for it anyway.) I explained this to Christopher and he made sure there was a lock in my unit when I arrived. The unit was clean. In fact, this whole facility is very tidy. When I arrived, there were three carts available, which was very helpful. There was plenty of parking space. Everything went great. So thanks Christopher for a pleasant experience! I would recommend this place. 5 ⭐️ all the way! Graciella P.

New up date add on public storage Harassing and Bullied phone calls when I already told them I was done I was not. Im going to pay something they messed up on Is places ridiculous told them a month in advance about And I guess the employees aren't trained enough to put stuff into the computers. Or they like money hungry don't ever go to this place

Price went up every three months started at 69 to 75 to 85 to 95 in a year and this is a 5×5 unit half the time I tried to go in too office it was closed told the moth in AdvanceI was vacating the the property but moth latter told me I had too pay the next month rent place is a joke also had people fome other sits that didn't know what to do such an Circus will never go back

I would NEVER. EVER. rent another storage unit from here. The employees are beyond rude, and there is 1 (yes, singular) dolly/cart for the entire place. Asked if we could pay for 1 prorated day as its hard to move heavy items without a cart. Nope. Have to pay for another FULL month. The employees couldn't even be bothered to turn around while they were talking to me. Not to mention the crazy price hikes. Save your money, and your back and go somewhere else. Plenty to choose from close by.

It's a nice facility, but when movers are there unloading, one cannot keep the doors open, so I had to stand there for 2 hours putting in my code over and over. My lock is also difficult to use on my unit, despite the manager working on it for 30 minutes. But it is very clean.

Your property manager (Cindi ?) Isn't at all helpful. I have looked at your reviews and I'm not surprised to see I'm not the first to inform you of this. What does surprise me is ownership has done nothing to improve or correct the problem. Do you not care? Is she family? This is your business do something about you lazy, unhelpful, substandard employee!

Thieves. The management provided me with a disc lock. After leaving my things in the unit for around four months, I noticed some missing camping items. There were no signs of forced entry so I assumed I had misplaced them. Upon closer investigation I found over $5,000 in tools, vehicle parts, and camping gear missing. Lock was never broken so I know they used their master key. Stay away.

Horrible customer service. They act as if you are bothering them.

Great location, friendly staff strict on payment but who isn't

Every employee will tell you different things. I fell on hard times had to have the last two months be late. Last month no problem, I still had access. Told them this month was going to be late. They claimed I’d still have access. Came to try getting diapers for my son. And they locked me out. The new person Adriana wants to tell me that policy has always been if you don’t pay by like the 6th you get locked out. But I had just talked to someone on the phone earlier in the day and he claimed I still had access. Now they are charging different amounts for late fees when I was told it’s only 25$ for late fees and that’s all I have ever paid. The employees will all lie to you. One of the worst public storages around.

In the cut on a dead end street and I love that. Kind of seems like a secret place to hide your stuff. Lol

Moving in was quick and easy, Cindy was a great help in getting by unit set up for move in. She was friendly and professional.

I rented a storage Unit from this place, first they showed me and I locked up the wrong unit. Went back to remove the lock two days later and cancel my original storage unit. I paid &130 for two months had the unit for 2 days helped them by removing the lock from the unit they told me was mine by mistake. And it's been 20 days I haven't received my check in the mail even though I paid cash. But the kicker is the refund amount is for $70 I paid $30 a day for a unit I never used and helped them by removing a lock off the wrong unit and get robbed $60. Save your money get rid of you stuff don't waste it with these crooks. I will never ever deal with such a shady company again. Update they did refund me back $70 like they said it was $7. This one incompetent company if I ever seen one. Will keep updating as events unfold.

I don't do reviews. Ever. I have to say that Cindy at public storage was the most helpful person I have had the pleasure of doing business with in a while. I have a brand new 96 inch couch that does fit in my new apartment. Went there looking for the smallest unit I could find that it would fit in. After failing to find one Cindy basically took me around the facility until we found one that work. All of this with such a good attitude. She is the kind of person that creates a loyal customer. Thank you.

Reserved a unit online. Drove with a truck load of goods to location and was told this location only takes appointments which is not located on the website or any other info. Called cooperate and they knew nothing about appointments only. The lady at this location refused to take my money to pay for my unit and walked off. Trash, total trash.

Access is available till 9pm. Not sure why I keep my stuff here still, but when I first came here they assigned my storage and then ended up cancelling my reservation and storage (which was on the first floor) I didn't have anything in my storage until the next day I came to unload and my unit was locked! After getting it all sorted out and finally getting my reservation active again, I was then put on the second floor all the way to the back. Got downgraded for their mistake. Cindy was not helpful nor friendly and apparently allergic to dogs so no dogs allowed. About 3 months in they decided to change me rate and up me about $30. If moving by yourself wasn't so hard I'd be outta there to a more convenient, cleaner facility. I really enjoyed my time at security service storage, next door. Same price (in the end) with 24hr access and a friendly staff!

I would give 1/2 star if that was a option. The woman who runs this public storage is awful! No other way to put it. She absolutely she never work in a customer service based job. I have rented my storage since 2018 and I am actively looking for another place for my storage. Have zero issue with public storage as a company. Except they hired such a awful person.

Cindy was fantastic! Got our online reservation wrapped up in 15 minutes and saved us $$ on second months rent! 10/10 customer service. :)

Cindy and her team on Feb27th, were as always very friendly and go beyond what is expected on giving professional services. It was extremely busy that Sunday ( Feb27th ) and I had serveral unexpected plus unique issues though out the day and each time they met my needs and went out of their way to accommodate me. They had every right NOT to accommodate me and and every right to be irritated with me but they remained friendly and helpful. I was also in the following morning and I was greeted by Cindy and again I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Thank you Kiki

PLEASE READ FOR YOUR SAKE: If I could leave 0 stars I could. Little did I know going into using this storage unit that not only would all of my stuff get stolen, but stolen by an EMPLOYEE none the less. Cindy the Manager, according to staff, is the only one who had the key during the time, and after reviewing security footage, only someone with a Key would have been able to enter my unit. Even though I had insurance on my unit, I still got zero compensation because there was no forced entry into the unit. Obviously there is none when the manager of the place unlocks it and decides to go shopping. I lost over $5,000 with all of the stuff that was stolen. When I brought it up to the staff that my items were missing, not only were they incredibly rude and defensive , but made every effort to make sure that I would not be able to get insurance, see video footage, or anything to get my stuff back. I have never had a worse experience at a place and want to try and prevent this so other people do not have to go through what I did.

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. My storage unit was broken into & was totally shrugged off by Cindy the general manager, who said, "it could be worse, one day I got to work & the entire 2nd floor was broken into!" They clearly have problems with security & theft at this location. There are NO cameras on the 2nd floor besides by the elevators. I received absolutely no help or answers, the only way to talk to anyone was to go to the location because nobody would return my calls. The only call I received back from a "higher up" from public storage left me a rude voicemail telling me they would do their best to check the camera footage, & that these sort of things happen. I would recommend having a list of everything wrote down that is inside of your storage unit, along with any pictures of reciepts or important paperwork, otherwise you won't receive any compensation from the $5,000 payout. Orange door insurance and Public Storage are a joke. I will never do business with them again as there was zero attempt to show me any compassion or help make anything right. Use the circular locks, plus add another lock...You're things are not safe there. It's heartbreaking having precious family heirlooms stolen with no help or leads to try to to get anything back. Good luck everyone, the move in "special" is just a ploy, they'll get you with other random "fees".
