Shamaile & Paul has been so helpful. I’ve had a lot of issues with getting help and calling to speak to someone. But when I walked into the Mississippi location, to see if I can speak to someone directly. Shamaile didn’t hesitate to help me right off the bat. I recently went in to make a payment, and not understanding the charges, and what’s applied to my account, Paul took my issue and help me work though. I really hadn’t had a good experience talking to people there but these two has made me feel better and understanding what I can do. So I thank them both, it may seem like they don’t do much but it’s those who take the time to be present and understand to make a difference in a persons life.

I recently came to store some items here and was initially having trouble getting into the gate ( I was in the wrong spot which is why my access code was not working, haha) but Paul swooped in and helped me find my unit. I have been a Public Storage customer for 7 years. In all that time, the team there has been consistently helpful and gracious. Recently, I got a call that I needed to come in as there has been an attempted break in. Jennifer and Isabel were professional and helpful. In the end, there was no damage and the maintenance staff were already resolving the surface damage.

I moved into my storage unit yesterday and had the pleasure of working with Paul. He was absolutely wonderful. He addressed any questions or concerns I had professionally. He was very polite and kind. In a world where it kind of feels like customer service is not as much of a priority, it is people like Paul who show me otherwise. Thank you for being so wonderful.

I don’t usually write reviews but after receiving some help from Paul, I had to. I’ve been struggling with medical issues and because of it I am delinquent a few months. I finally was getting ready to discharge and I received a message they were planning on selling my unit. I called in and spoke to Paul and explained to them my situation but basically nothing could be done was nothing after they took a few hours to speak with someone that could try to help me. The reason I’m giving this place (more so this person) 5 stars is because Paul called me the next day and offered me a better option after he fought for me! i don’t know many people that would a. still be thinking and even bothered about my situation and b. continue to fight and help me. Thank you. Given my situation, it means so much. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make the offer and I will lose my unit, but I’m just happy someone tried to help me - a complete stranger.

I have to say that the staff at this location was outstanding. What impressed me the most was the availability of the front desk staff. Shamaile was very knowledgeable about the operations and gave me great advice on the best unit for my needs. Overall, I was treated like a valued customer and would recommend this location for anyone's storage needs.

Debbie did suggest a great job placing me in the best storage unit I could have expected. Everything I wanted, good help.

Had a slightly frustrating experience with a gentleman on the phone when my friend and I asked repeatedly for a ground floor unit and were given a second story one instead, but Shamaile cleared everything up for us immediately. We greatly appreciate her assistance!

Access does not work after 6:00PM even if the sign says they close at 9:00PM. Nobody is ever in the office and it is practically impossible to find someone to pick up the phone for customer service. Do not rent here.

DO NOT rent from this facility. Break-ins, unfixed doors to buildings, ZERO communication (and false promises of follow up from Shamelle, which she will later deny), unprofessional staff, icy sidewalks (believe me, this place is NOT worth injuring yourself for) and a District Manager David Buck that is totally irresponsible and nearly impossible to get a hold of (don't let the Escalations line fool you -- David Buck WILL NOT contact you within 24-48 hours, he'll have a minion do his dirty work). The lack of professionalism at this place is all over. From David Buck down, YOU are going to need to follow up with THEM, not the other way around. I've never actually had my phone call answered while calling this site, and the door to the office is frequently locked without explanation or way to contact a staff. Don't bother telling DAVID BUCK, this guy has the same victim mindset that HIS hire, Shamelle, has. It's more about defending egos than about fixing problems here, from the top down. Given the recent mass break-ins (which I hold DAVID BUCK directly responsible for, the door to Building B was broken and unrepaired at the time of the break-ins), and the HORRIBLE communication and follow-up/thru that ensued, the repeated follow up I had to do with the site just to get my unit fixed, AND NO RECOMPENSATION BY DAVID BUCK FOR MY TROUBLE, you're better off storing your belongings anywhere but here. THIS SITE IS A SCAM. You've been warned. Update: STILL HAVE NEVER HAD A PHONE CALL ANSWERED AT THIS SITE NEVER NOT -- worse than any government agency, this place is a total joke. Update January 2024. The only elevator in my building has been broken and unfixed for at least a month. Trying to move everything out of my 2nd floor unit has been a total nightmare. May God damn David Buck, the worst manager I know. Bet he's making great money doing God knows what. And Shamelle, an emotional child in an adult body. Never coming back to a Public Storage, this has been a true nightmare.

My husband and a friend just returned with a whole truck load of our stuff. The employee went so far as to “THREATEN TO POP” my husband! (It’s all on camera) but I am completely shocked and appalled by the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism. Moving is the worst anyway but this is just one more thing to go wrong. So frustrating!!

From start to end, Sha'maile helped me through it all. So many things in my move went wrong, but thanks to Sha'maile my things are stored safely. I'd give her 20 stars if I could.

Absolutely DO NOT rent from here if you value your stuff. Our stuff got broken into and the office claims to have called us (we have no missed calls from them). They have bullet holes in their windows, unhoused people live here, and the elevator works half the time. There’s always people hanging out here like they live here. Not to mention, there have been used needles in the lot, and the management clearly doesn’t give a rat’s tail about managing this place. You have to rent a cart from them and if you bring your own it’ll get stolen. Here’s a photo of our stuff ransacked and/or missing. If you try to call them, good luck getting through, as there’s never anyone even working the office. Oh! I almost forgot, they also tried to raise our rates despite telling us our rate was “locked in” for a 90+ weeks. 10/10 WOULD NOT RENT HERE.

Difficult to find the property manager or to find a dolly to help move items to your unit. Looks like there is a bullet hole in the B unit window. My storage unit light doesn't work.

I have called every day for the last 2 n half weeks. Not once has anyone answered the phone or returned any of my messages. I work normal business hours and just can't pop in.

They changed the hours at last minute, and even gate access hours have changed to a small window I can't even move my stuff out to a new storage just based off their hours of operation alone. The employees are never around, stuff gets broken into. Terrible place

I forgot her name. Alice? Maybe... she was African American with red dyed hair. She helped me tremendously for the day when I needed to store my stuff. She was kind and thorough. Recommended

This place will rob you blind with their "move in special" scam and changes your "contract terms " monthly. BUT THENNNN, they will also switch up the days that they add late charges. One month will be the 10th, then next the 8th. They jst pick and choose when to add fees knowing I dont get paid until the middle of the month. (See previous review) Absolutely unreliable and such a shady company who underhandedly manipulates their customers and abuses their contracts. Cant wait to get funds together to rent a truck and never come back to this egregious company. WORST STORAGE RENTAL COMPANY I have EVER USED in Denver IN 30!!! YEARS of living here and renting storage units. If you want to be robbed blind monthly, rent here.

One cart per entrance IF you can find it, trash by the entrance looks like folks just dump their left overs when they clean out. This place does have better prices and some larger units than u-haul but the closest U-haul has 7 flat carts and 2 that carry upright items like pictures or flat screens and insists they get returned as well as a no dumping policy. This place wouldn’t be my choice unless I just desperately needed the biggest unit.

This place is a scam. They get you with a cheap deal. I found a 10x5 for $99 a month. After two months, they upped my rent by over $45. I had to call them to see if i could change my due date because i get paid in the middle of the month,they refuse to let me change it so they can hit me with late fees and when asked about upping the rent, they said they can do that at anytime as it is a month to month contract that can be altered by them without your signature. I am now paying over $161 a month because they upped rent without telling me and refuse to work with me on the due date knowing i dont get paid until after they start charging late fees.** THEEEENN they called today to ask me to delete my post, and told me i should be happy they gave me a "discount" of $10 MORE than the lease i signed. And even tried to tell me they are also giving it to me for the month of April only and prices can go back up after that. Complete scam. Do NOT rent here.

I have had my storage at the public storage on mississippi and Idalia for over 1 year already. i had never had problems here until this month when someone broke in to my storage and stole all of my belongings. I let the staff know at the front office and they gave me the flier to do a claim with the insurance. I had more than 10k in property stolen from me and the insurance only covers up to 5k. i let the employee know what had happened and that other people said that people had been braking in to people’s storage and her response was “ im sure they have been” I later spoke to the district manager some lady that i did not get her name and she showed no remorse. i asked if they had security to protect the property and she said yes, I have literally never seen anyone in the whole year that i have been there. when i asked how were they going to compensate me for my trouble she said “ if you don’t feel safe here you are welcome to go somewhere else”. I am very disappointed with the level of customer service here and how rude that employees treated me after all my belongings got stolen. My payment is due now and i asked if they could at least waive the monthly payment for my upcoming payment and she said sorry we can’t do that. DO NOT GO HERE. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ANOUT YOUR BELONGINGS AND THEY ARE PROBABLY PAYING SOMEONE TO BREAK IN TO THE UNITS. NO TRAIGAN SUS COSAS AQUI. I was burglarized two days after moving in. Stayed because I had to, they raised my rent by 33% and said they did it because everybody else was. No on-site manager, don't rent there if you don't absolutely have to.

If I could give it a zero I would! I wish I had stored my belong else where. The store on (Mississippi and Chambers) They never answer the phone nor are they open during hours of operation. I have left like 6 messages to which they have nicer calls back. They raised my rent on my unit without my knowledge. I paid the bill in full and they are saying I owe them. They had never to sent a text me some about a lien. I do not recommend this location to my worst enemy.

I’m pretty sure all these good reviews about Nancy are her personal friends & family cause she is definitely not a good property manager or as previous people have mentioned the staff pressure renters to leave good reviews. Nancy is a manager who doesn’t even know what time her own store closes. She’s is VERY unprofessional, ghetto, rude, no people skills, I could go on. When I explained that she made me drive a whole hour in a borrowed truck with no AC after telling me they closed at 5:30 (when i arrived she told me they closed at 4:30) she sat there & laughed & said “well I’m definitely not going to help you”… this isn’t the first negative encounter I’ve had with her either. I’d be miserable too if I was 73 yrs old still working at a public storage like Nancy but that doesn’t excuse her treatment towards renters.

This place gets 4 stars because Nancy is amazing. She's a great property manager and great about communicating and getting back to me. The place itself is kind of grungy, and I had problems with being overcharged with my first payment. I had to call customer service about 8 times before it was handled but Nancy was very helpful through the whole process and it was not her fault. Best price I could find anywhere in the area!

I came in looking for a large unit, pretty much at the last minute, because I needed a storage unit because we had to be out of our home in 2 days and not only did she find me a unit that I needed, but she took the time to look for any deals that might be available and she even looked for units in the surrounding area before we were able to find the right size I needed at this particular location. She was incredibly helpful and very nice and made sure to explain to me, in detail, about rent and late fees and any costs that I would need to pay so that I was fully aware of all of the charges and fully aware of what I was paying for. I'm very happy with my experience with her and the facility.
