This place will rob you blind with their "move in special" scam and changes your "contract terms " monthly. BUT THENNNN, they will also switch up the days that they add late charges. One month will be the 10th, then next the 8th. They jst pick and choose when to add fees knowing I dont get paid until the middle of the month. (See previous review) Absolutely unreliable and such a shady company who underhandedly manipulates their customers and abuses their contracts. Cant wait to get funds together to rent a truck and never come back to this egregious company. WORST STORAGE RENTAL COMPANY I have EVER USED in Denver IN 30!!! YEARS of living here and renting storage units. If you want to be robbed blind monthly, rent here.

One cart per entrance IF you can find it, trash by the entrance looks like folks just dump their left overs when they clean out. This place does have better prices and some larger units than u-haul but the closest U-haul has 7 flat carts and 2 that carry upright items like pictures or flat screens and insists they get returned as well as a no dumping policy. This place wouldn’t be my choice unless I just desperately needed the biggest unit.

This place is a scam. They get you with a cheap deal. I found a 10x5 for $99 a month. After two months, they upped my rent by over $45. I had to call them to see if i could change my due date because i get paid in the middle of the month,they refuse to let me change it so they can hit me with late fees and when asked about upping the rent, they said they can do that at anytime as it is a month to month contract that can be altered by them without your signature. I am now paying over $161 a month because they upped rent without telling me and refuse to work with me on the due date knowing i dont get paid until after they start charging late fees.** THEEEENN they called today to ask me to delete my post, and told me i should be happy they gave me a "discount" of $10 MORE than the lease i signed. And even tried to tell me they are also giving it to me for the month of April only and prices can go back up after that. Complete scam. Do NOT rent here.

I have had my storage at the public storage on mississippi and Idalia for over 1 year already. i had never had problems here until this month when someone broke in to my storage and stole all of my belongings. I let the staff know at the front office and they gave me the flier to do a claim with the insurance. I had more than 10k in property stolen from me and the insurance only covers up to 5k. i let the employee know what had happened and that other people said that people had been braking in to people’s storage and her response was “ im sure they have been” I later spoke to the district manager some lady that i did not get her name and she showed no remorse. i asked if they had security to protect the property and she said yes, I have literally never seen anyone in the whole year that i have been there. when i asked how were they going to compensate me for my trouble she said “ if you don’t feel safe here you are welcome to go somewhere else”. I am very disappointed with the level of customer service here and how rude that employees treated me after all my belongings got stolen. My payment is due now and i asked if they could at least waive the monthly payment for my upcoming payment and she said sorry we can’t do that. DO NOT GO HERE. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ANOUT YOUR BELONGINGS AND THEY ARE PROBABLY PAYING SOMEONE TO BREAK IN TO THE UNITS. NO TRAIGAN SUS COSAS AQUI. I was burglarized two days after moving in. Stayed because I had to, they raised my rent by 33% and said they did it because everybody else was. No on-site manager, don't rent there if you don't absolutely have to.

If I could give it a zero I would! I wish I had stored my belong else where. The store on (Mississippi and Chambers) They never answer the phone nor are they open during hours of operation. I have left like 6 messages to which they have nicer calls back. They raised my rent on my unit without my knowledge. I paid the bill in full and they are saying I owe them. They had never to sent a text me some about a lien. I do not recommend this location to my worst enemy.

I’m pretty sure all these good reviews about Nancy are her personal friends & family cause she is definitely not a good property manager or as previous people have mentioned the staff pressure renters to leave good reviews. Nancy is a manager who doesn’t even know what time her own store closes. She’s is VERY unprofessional, ghetto, rude, no people skills, I could go on. When I explained that she made me drive a whole hour in a borrowed truck with no AC after telling me they closed at 5:30 (when i arrived she told me they closed at 4:30) she sat there & laughed & said “well I’m definitely not going to help you”… this isn’t the first negative encounter I’ve had with her either. I’d be miserable too if I was 73 yrs old still working at a public storage like Nancy but that doesn’t excuse her treatment towards renters.

This place gets 4 stars because Nancy is amazing. She's a great property manager and great about communicating and getting back to me. The place itself is kind of grungy, and I had problems with being overcharged with my first payment. I had to call customer service about 8 times before it was handled but Nancy was very helpful through the whole process and it was not her fault. Best price I could find anywhere in the area!

I came in looking for a large unit, pretty much at the last minute, because I needed a storage unit because we had to be out of our home in 2 days and not only did she find me a unit that I needed, but she took the time to look for any deals that might be available and she even looked for units in the surrounding area before we were able to find the right size I needed at this particular location. She was incredibly helpful and very nice and made sure to explain to me, in detail, about rent and late fees and any costs that I would need to pay so that I was fully aware of all of the charges and fully aware of what I was paying for. I'm very happy with my experience with her and the facility.

I rented a unit here online for less than half the cost of another storage facility. When I went to access, my code didn't work. Joshua IMMEDIATELY corrected the situation with a smile on his face. This was one of the best interactions I've ever had over a counter. Period. Excellent customer service experience, the unit was clean, and I saved money.

My Family has been using this Public Storage facility for 2 decades now. Nancy is a blessing for the property. She certainly has her a lot on her plate with the wonderful additions and obvious clean ups she and the staff are completing. Jenapher was totally awesome and effective!!!

This was my first experience renting a storage unit, initially there was a power outage with the location and prevented access via the secured gate into the property. I spoke with Jenapher and she was able to get me into another unit with no access issues. Despite the rocky start to this experience Jenepher was able to smooth the situation out and handle my storage needs in a professional manner. I am extremely satisfied with my choice and look forward to utilizing this service in the future. Once the electricity issues is resolved I’ll update review to 5 stars.

Had my unit burglarized 2 times in less than 2 weeks. Everything we own is broken or missing. If i could give zero stars i would. Dont leave your property here. If you do make sure you purchase the insurance.

We’ve been storing here for a couple months and got a phone call from Mike that our unit was missing the lock. He asked us to come in right away, so we did. He had locked the unit up for us to secure it till we arrived and answered all our questions while managing to sell us a new lock, show us the proper way to lock it up, and reassure us that he will help in any way if we needed to file a police report. We’re lucky the perpetrators didn’t take anything, just rummaged through our items but we appreciate Mike’s honesty and help in resolving the matter that could have been an otherwise horrible situation. Thank you, Mike!!!

This is a great place. I have been storing here for a year. Recently I met mike and he has great customer service. If your looking for a place to store your belongings, this is the place to go.

So they raised their rates without notice and then got rid of the carts that help love stuff to and from the units. Paying more for less.

My unit got broke into the same day I had went there and the next day I went back and another unit had been broken into....little did I know at that time 8 other units had been broken into. So a week later I went back and 20 other units got broke into.... DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM PUBLIC STORAGE..... after that I couldn't get my stuff out and I had to pay for another month or lose the little I had left after being ROBBED!!!! Website is full of lies no cameras, security on sit manager nothing!!!!!

Rented a 10x30 unit here to store two of my collector vehicles. They should have been able to fit nose-to-tail with space to spare, but when I moved them into the unit I found that they wouldn't fit. Had to park them at an angle and remove one bumper in order to just barely clear the door. Brought a tape measure when I moved out and found that the unit only measured 28 feet 4 inches from door to studs. That's annoying, but the reason for the 2 stars is a rash of recent break-ins at this location. Local news reported that at least 16 interior units were broken into on September 20th. The reports also indicated that there are only two cameras to cover the entire property. Reviews on the Public Storage website for this location indicate that there were additional thefts in August.

DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING HERE!!!!! My locker were broken into by somebody who had access to it as the lock was still on, the only people who had the key was me and the staff and i know for a fact it wasn't me, A certain female name keeps being used ( Who i found out surprisingly does not work there anymore) the place and the workers are well known to the police ( I was the 6th person to file a report about a break at there this week) there using there computer database to do a check on when your personal code has been used (Which you need to get in the gate and in the door to the lockers) so it will come up with names and the last time you used it, but here the thing they don't use your code, they use a master code, So get your stuff out of there or check it asap or you might be the next victim of these people. also the staff DO pressure you to give them good reviews. but if do plan to stay there change your locks and don't use there even if they say you have too

DO NOT STORE YOUR ITEMS HERE!! Multiple items were stolen from our unit. It was definitely an inside job since my husband and I were the only ones even aware of this storage locker!! Lock was not tampered with. Only explanation is the employees. Employee was quick to show us how to file insurance claim.. seemed like she was familiar with the process?? Not sure if items being stolen is a common occurrence here. Pick someone where else to store your stuff!! Do not trust this place!! Learn from our mistake!!! All the good reviews are from employees suggesting new renters give them a good review!!

I think most of us would agree, moving in general, is stressful. I can't stand any part of the process. On July 30, 2019,our great moving day. I had put off till the last minute getting a storage unit. I did make reservations for one, and it turned out to be a dump! We left immediately,o course we were already pressed for time, with friends helping before and after work. By chance we stopped in at Public Storage Facility at Mississippi and Chambers. The manager, Nichole, greeted us as we eentered the office. By the time I outlined our needs, Nichole asked several pertinent questions, no more than 15 minutes, it was done. Wait, a couple of things did come up over the next several days. Each and everytime I called, Nichole herself answered my calls, there was no run around, in a matter of minutes, whatever the issue that had come up, was solved to my complete satisfaction. Not even a "let me call your back" Handled! If you and your family are going through the stress of moving. No matter what part of the metro area you are located. Take the time,Go visit with, Nichole at Public Storage near Mississippi and Chambers in Aurora. Y will find no better and more knowledgeable person to assist in your storage and moving needs. You will certainly be glad you talked with Nichole. Nice clean buildings, secured, climate controlled, all there. Reserved a unit that I looked at with a employee and decided to rent it. I came back the next day after already paying and apparently that particular unit wasn't available anymore, so they stuck me on the 2nd floor instead of the 1st( which was my only request). Started loading all my stuff in and figured out the locking mechanism on the door was busted so I told the manager and they wanted me to change units ( 80% of my stuff already moved in.) So I fixed the door myself to avoid moving or waiting another week. Staff is friendly but unorganized. Billing department is a joke. Trying to get the rates that were discussed was frustrating. It should be a lot easier to rent a 10x10 closet....Needless to say once I move out I won't be doing business with Public Storage again. Terrible experience. It is the cheapest though, so you get what you pay for I guess.

I absolutely would not rent from here. Very unprofessional, I had a scary situation dealing with their front desk associate. He had a complete meltdown and yelled at me accusing me of stealing his trash can. If you’re a single female on the property alone that could be a very dangerous situation.

I would like to start by saying I have rented several spaces from Public Storage across the nation. Hands down I have never had a property manager that as professional, understanding, and willing to help his cutomers no matter what the situation maybe. I have had several set backs the past year in my personal life that has included being homeless and jobless. Long story short Eric has gone the extra mile to review my lease and seek clarification from his managers and this policy clarification allowed me to keep my storage which has eased my stress. Eric was also a key witness when my car was jacked and beneficial in the recovery of the vehicle and reimbursement of the stolen items that was stolen with the car. Bottom line if you need a storage and demand customer service, go no further Eric will listen to your needs and make suggestion for your sitiuation, He is. nothing but respectful, courteous, understanding, and honest. Today I came to lease a storage unit and was a little annoyed by the lack of information by the Call Center in regards to what I would need when I got there. However I was assisted by Tyreisa, whom I must say was very helpful and knowledgeable. She explained everything in detail and did apologize for the inconvenience of having to go back home to retrieve a lock for the unit. All in all it was a very good customer experience at the South Idalia location. There fine....u pay for what u need and then u store your stuff..they don't bug u.....but there is not a lot of parking .so if u get there and other people are trying to unload be ready to wait... Other than that..it's whatever...it public storage.

This location has great customer service. Nicole is efficient and it is obvious she actually cares about her work. Prices are competetive for the area. The facility is clean and safe.

Nicole is good at her job, but next time please try not to mislead customers when it comes to having to use the locks public storage has when you may bring your own......its 20 + dollars for a lock I already owned same style same manufacturer same lock yet I had to purchase there lock. Do you have a spare key hidden so that you may enter my unit at will? Or are you just trying to make some commission off dishonesty? Needless to say I was unaware of the not having to buy theres and got stuck paying over 80 total on a first months rent for 1 dollar. Can u say bait and switch? And the odor of marijuana indoors at the facility is un bearable a unit in the back part of the lot has a family that live in it I had the pleasure of waking them at 6 when I came in not once but 3 times now. Fix that issue as I do not feel safe knowing that somone is around my personal belongings 24/7 when the facility closes for 10 hours at night

I have no proof that the young woman who was in the office on Sunday, is stealing, but it's really the only conclusion I can come up with. I set up to get a unit online and then I went in to pay and get my keys. She asked me what I would be storing, which I have never been asked by anyone at a storage company before. I said I was storing the contents of a three bedroom apartment, as I assumed that she was worried about the size. But she didn't stop there; she wanted details. I told her just regular apartment stuff. She asked, "So, will you have mattresses and sofa and other furniture?" I told her I didn't know, I was moving the contents of a 10x20 storage unit in Maryland to this 10x20 storage unit, so I was pretty sure it would fit. She responded with "But you can say for sure that you will have boxes of personal items?" She obviously wasn't going to stop asking until I gave her an inventory. So, I lied. I told her my ex husband put my stuff in storage and told me to come get it, which I was doing, but I had no idea what he had put in storage. She wasn't happy with that answer and then as we were walking to see the unit, she said, "What kind of person would do that?" I asked her what kind of person would do what because it had been at least a good five minutes and two conversation topics back and I honestly didn't know what she was talking about. "Put your stuff in storage and not tell you what it is and make you come get it." Since that lie was actually nicer than what my ex really did with my stuff, I didn't see what the problem would be. And she had already annoyed me with the inventory questions, I said, "I don't know. Maybe someone who had his wife walk out on him." She responded with "He deserved it." Seriously, she said that. To which I responded, "No, not really." Then she started trying to get personal information out of me. How long had I been in Colorado, why my ex wouldn't give me my stuff, why my divorce was taking so long. It wasn't friendly chit chat, especially since I made it clear that I wasn't going to talk on personal level with her at the very beginning. But she kept pushing. She also handed me the lock I would be using, as we walked to the unit. I've rented units before and at the places where I had to use their locks, they usually put three or four locks on the counter and I would choose one. Besides the behavior that make me believe she's a thief, she was also just generally bad at her job. She was rude to the customer ahead of me and then talked badly about him to me. She was surly and unfriendly. She didn't explain the pricing and then got pissy when I asked, so much so that she started slamming things and tossing papers at me. I said that she hadn't given me my payment options, but just chose one and told me that was what I was paying like it was fact. She stared at me angrily for a minute while I stared back at her until she finally said, "Sorry?" When she was going over the rental agreement, she mentioned the Privacy Policy. I asked where that was. She pointed to the rental agreement and said that was the Privacy Policy. I said, no, that was a rental agreement with a section entitled "Privacy Policy" but that the section stated that I would be given a copy of the Privacy Policy to look over. So, where was the Privacy Policy that I was to look over. Very frustrated at my obvious stupidity, she angrily poked at the rental agreement and told me again that the rental agreement was the Privacy Policy. Since it's a binding legal document, perhaps the person going over it could actually know what it says. Now, let's talk about the actual place. It's filthy. There's trash all over the ground. It just feels dirty. And the road was broken and warped. I tripped on an uneven piece of asphalt. And the road was... I want to say, concave, but that would lead you to believe that there was a slight dip in the middle. I'm going to with: it's a deep valley with one very steep side and one slightly steep side. I think it would be really hard to drive on.

Heather was absolutely amazing in meeting our needs. She was extremely quick to call us back after reserving our unit, gave us a full walkthrough upon our arrival and explained everything very well. I had a very pleasant experience from the phone call with Vivian to reserve, all the way up to locking my unit after I unloaded. Its a very clean and well maintained area, secure gate, individual entry codes, and they're only closed 9 hrs from 9 pm to 6 am. I would def recommend this company to anyone looking for exceptional and affordable storage!

When I moved from Washington to Denver, I reserved a unit at this facility. My trip was quite an an adventure in the snow and I had to postpone my arrival many times. When I FINALLY arrived, it was right at the time for staff to go home. Both the ladies that I dealt with are a real joy. Heather encouraged me and repeatedly said "Be safe, we want you to get here." Brandi stayed late to let me get the paperwork done and could not have been nicer. The facilities are clean and easy to get to. I very highly recommend this Public Storage. Because of the customer service I wish I could give 10 Stars.

I have been at this location for awhile and have found the staff to always be helpful. Currently I am speaking of Heather who is professional, friendly and has a "winning" smile. In addition, this property is always clean. And for this, it gives me peace of mind.

The online sign up process was quick and easy, and I received a very nice welcome phone call to confirm my move-in date and to discuss the best time to come in. I arrived a couple hours early but Heather was prepared for me anyways. She was friendly, professional, and did a excellent job of getting me setup quickly and efficiently. I've spent quite a few years in the customer service industry, and Heather is the epitome of who I would want to hire. She did her job well, had a great attitude, and knew how important it is to acknowledge the other customers who were waiting in line. Definitely a well run facility and thoroughly exceeded my expectations.

My daughter and i were moving on a Monday and on top of that needed to store our items temporary until our new place became available. We thought of using Uhaul storage services since we've rented a truck from them but the available lot was too small for our needs. As we drove on, we saw public storage. Nick (property manager) was very informative and had what we needed. I needed to run a few errands (load the truck) and told Nick we'd be back. Unfortunately the time ran away from us (of course with moving) and i quickly rushed to public storage. Nick was still there and was happy to help us in renting a storage spot! I applaud good customer service and those who rises above to help someone...way to go Nick!!
