Love this Public Storage location .we been to a few in this valley but we always have a good experience here . A convenient location for us and property is always clean. We had to move storage units today and Sam was very helpful and friendly with assisting us on our new unit . Thank you for always being so helpful.

I don't often write reviews, but in an economy like ours, I felt that it would be good to inform others of the price gouging that I experienced during my time as a customer at this particular Public Storage facility. A couple of things to be aware of: not all Public Storage facilities are equal regarding how, when or why they might increase your rent. Nor does there appear to be any restriction to how much they can raise it, or how frequently they can raise it. The best way to communicate the price gouging is by way of comparison. My MIL and I opened up an account at two different Public Storage facilities simultaneously. I opened mine up to help her get a special introductory rate on both units to save a little extra money, since we were both first-time customers. First, compare the size: My MIL got a 10' x 20' unit near Costco in Canyon Country and I got 10' x 15' at the location that this review is for. Second, compare the quality of the facility: The one near Costco looks and feels a lot cleaner, including the main office. Whereas, the one for which this review is for is a comparatively rundown in every respect. Third, location: It really depends on where you live, but the Costco location is further from us than the PS of this review. This is the only advantage that this PS had over the one in Canyon Country. But we paid dearly for this advantage, which brings us to our final comparison... Finally, cost: When we first opened our respective accounts, the smaller unit cost about $50 less than the larger one. Here's a breakdown of the price over time for each... 10' x 20' - MIL's PS (for reference only) ---------------------------------------- $219 ( 0.00%) - Nov '18 $240 ( 9.59%) - Mar '19 ( 4 months) $241 (10.05%) - Jul '20 (16 months) $265 (21.00%) - Jul '21 (12 months) $328 (49.77%) - Jul '22 (12 months) $376 (71.69%) - Jan '23 ( 6 months) 10' x 15' - My PS ---------------------------------------- $173 ( 0.00%) - Nov '18 $190 ( 9.83%) - Apr '19 ( 5 months) $237 ( 36.99%) - Jan '20 ( 9 months) $259 ( 49.71%) - Apr '21 (15 months) $335 ( 93.64%) - Apr '22 (12 months) $464 (168.21%) - Oct '22 ( 6 months) Note that the percentages for each value is calculated off the original base price for each unit. By the time I closed my account with PS, I was paying almost $100 more for the smaller unit per month than the larger one. So, buyer beware when you start looking into storage facilities. Some of them are going to make you pay far more than others.

I had rented and paid upfront for a 10x20 online and so I was disappointed to see that the unit was under 10’ wide and only about 17’ deep. I spoke with SAM the manager of the facility who was extremely helpful and went out of her way to show me several other units. At first I considered moving from the facility due to the rate vs size discrepancy but because of Sam’s customer service and warm personality I decided to keep my unit at this clean and well run public storage facility and I’m so glad I did! Sam’s friendly disposition and “how can I help you” customer service shines every day and she has just helped me again this week with my 16’ container delivery so I wanted to leave this A+ five star review. I’ve known of Clare (the capable and always pleasant to deal with regional manager for Public Storage in Santa Clarita) for sometime so I should not be surprised if she hired or promoted Sam personally. When considering this review understand that I’ve rented hundreds of spaces throughout LA in my antique business over the last 20+ years so I can say with my experience that Public Storage did well by employing them! This facility may be older but because it’s a consistently clean professionally run facility that it makes renting space here a real value compared to all other facilities. “Auction Hunters” Allen Haff

Chris was very helpful and patient in getting my reservation going. At first the site froze up when I tried getting the reservation going online. Had to go back the next day and decided to do it in-person.

Was a 5 star because I appreciated Vanessa and her help with the rental. But now, still no problem with the staff but corporate office is out of control. Editing Review... Raised the rent 33% with no notice. They said they mailed out a notice. I'm sure I would have caught it with that type of raise. WHY the drastic raise???? BECAUSE THEY CAN!🤬🤬
