Well I stumbled in and a fine young gent by the name of sid answered all the questions I needed in finding a unit suitable for my antique porcelain dolls my grandmother gave to me after she kicked the bucket. Recently I found myself in need of a place to store the entire contents of my life after a stressful break up. When I walked in the door Sid was there with his smiling face to greet me and answer my questions. He was so kind and patient with me when I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I was concerned about insects , especially spiders, getting into my things. Sid reassured me and showed me a unit that was 100% clean and spiderweb free. As we walked around I was really impressed at how tidy everything was too. With that and Sids friendly demeanor it helped me to feel comfortable with my decision to store my things there.

I'm so glad a friend told me about this place. Corin was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. I can tell she has a lot of experience and knowledge about her job because she took the time to explain thoroughly with patience and a smile on her face some key factors. One of the hardest working people I've had the pleasure of coming into contact with. Why go anywhere else

These people are amazing! Forgive me for forgetting their names, but the people who work there go above and beyond! I had a payment issue and Public Storage customer support wasn't willing to help, but the people at the office there fixed it, saving me from a bill I simply cannot pay atm. The place is also super clean and I always see them out doing a great job. They're super friendly too and as someone who does have some social anxiety I felt welcome and safe. Thank you guys so much, and if I'm ever back in Santa Cruz and need a place to store stuff this absolutely is the location I'd go to.

Had to charge back rent for a unit I never used because I was promised a refund. Public storage then charged me again for the charged back money. For merchants who have lost their chargeback dispute during any of the three cycles, or decided not to contest the chargeback, they are out the money from the sale, the product sold, plus any fees incurred. Looks like what they did is illegal.

Corin and the other employers here are great - always helpful and courteous. Excellent service oriented Public Storage!

This is the most helpfull & courteous out of all the public storages I've dealt with

First of all, I want to give a huge shout-out to the property manager who handled a tough situation with poise and professionalism. I walked into the front office and some guy was absolutely out of control! I get having a complaint or whatever the issue was but yeesh! The manager did such a great job trying to provide customer service to a blatantly unreasonable customer. You go girl! I've used this location for a few years and have had nothing but positive experiences. The facilities are always clean and well kept and pretty quiet all around.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in Santa Cruz!! Begs for good reviews when first move in, but never replies to emails after moved in. Furthermore leaves premises before closing time, doesn't give warning that closing, makes gate unopenable (even with code) *1* minute after 6pm and then I need to spend 10+ minutes calling HQ. No customer orientation whatsoever. Now I know why they BEG for reviews at the beginning BEFORE you've actually experienced any interaction with them. Pathetic. UPDATE: The service person here has ATROCIOUS Customer Support skills & literally DISABLED my account so I can't get out, **30** minutes BEFORE CLOSING TIME. HQ called me & tried to 'buy me off' to change my review but the truth is the TRUTH.

This Public Storage location is clean and the grounds are well maintenanced. This is achieved because of the storage facilities on site manager Corin who is also friendly and helpful to all the tenants.

(I could have SWORN I posted this last month, but I couldn't verify so I'll try again) One word: Corin In my many years of experiencing customer service from the vantage point of being an employee, being an employer or being the customer, I've never had a more satisfying experience last week at the Public Storage in Pleasure Point. A few days prior to my visit with Corin (of which I shall be describing shortly), I reserved a 3rd floor 5 x 9 unit (with another pleasant and helpful gentleman whose name fails me at the moment). My first choice was an available 4 x 9 EXTERIOR unit. By the time we returned from the viewing, I was told that I couldn't pay cash. Then I couldn't use my cellphone to pay. Only way I could get the 4 x 9 was going online (through my phone) which I suck at doing (and the PS site's interface wasn't as intuitive as I would have hoped for). By the time I figured it out and was ready to choose the unit, the site now proclaimed that the 4 x 9 was no longer available. Somebody supposedly reserved it from right underneath my nose. This was assumed to be so because the clerk had no access to the individual's name, etc. Melancholy set in, but only for a day did it last. The next afternoon (Feb 5) I received a notification of a reservation I (allegedly) had made for two days into the FUTURE? I knew I didn't do that yesterday FOR SURE, but, I saw that it was for the 4 x 9! Not leaving anything to chance I hustled over to the Portola PS (with my truck already full of junk for a 3rd floor drop-off) hoping for a miracle. That miracle was Corin, with the million-dollar smile and billion-dollar attitude. (to be continued)

Very helpful staff and clean facilities with easy access!

The place is clean and well kept.The manager there is simply a credit to her profession. I know this almost sounds cliched, but she goes above and beyond when helping her customers. I've been a customer for a while and seen her going beyond her normal duties on a day-to-day basis.

Fantastic customer service. I needed a storage unit for a couple months and a young woman named Corin was very helpful and patient with me I had a lot of questions. I checked out with Katie and I got a cheaper deal because she informed me if I checked out by the 31st I wouldn't get charged for another day.

Raised the prices alot!! I haven't even been there 6 months. Generally I've been happy with them but the $44.00 price increase for my small unit was jaw dropping. Recently discovered termites in my unit! Good luck getting them on the phone or in the office when it says it's open but door is actually locked. 😒😞

Moving can be very stressful but thanks to Corin, renting our storage was quick and easy! She was very helpful and answered all the questions we had. Thanks again Corin for all of your help!

I have had a storage unit here for several months now. The place is always well kept and tidy. Corin who works at the front desk has always been extremely helpful and kind. Today I had multiple requests and she went over and above to make sure that I got what was needed. Her customer service skills were excellent. I had been in this facility years ago and I liked it. Well, I'm back in and the updates are nice! I like to see companies putting money back into their businesses in that they're updated and aesthetically pleasing. A coat of paint goes a long way! Prices are about twice as much of course. I love the app for opening the gate and with my account details.

I was on vacation when I recoved a notice that my storage unit was not set up for autopsy. I stopped in the Santa Cruz location and your representative Corin quickly handled my issue and I was back on my way.

I came into the facility to check on what space sizes were available and current rates. Christine (goes by Chris) was very helpful and explained where the spaces were in the facility and the rates. In the haste of my day I accidentally left my wallet behind! I spent the day trying to find it. And to my delight at the end of her work day, Chris hand delivered my wallet back to me @ home! She is a 5 STAR for sure, way above and beyond. Thank you so much Chris!
