This 5-star review is long overdue. We've been renting our space at the Foster City Public Storage location for nearly four years. Our commitment started out as short term rental then "you know what happens"....yep LIFE happens.....and....wait for it......CHRIS happens. Chris, the Property Manager, is a cat's meow. The location is clean and safe, the bathroom is like a restroom in a Michelin star restaurant, and Chris is top shelf! Thanks for all you do Chris!

I want to give a huge shout out to Chris at the PS in Foster City. Unbelievable customer service. I highly recommend this particular storage unit to anyone. Chris was there from beginning to end to make sure I understood everything in the process. Although I was making this move on my own, he made me feel like I wasn’t alone in the process. And all of my stuff fit! I was totally stressing, but he kept encouraging me and he was totally right - everything turned out. Last day, I was exhausted, & he took the time to come out of the office and check on me. Customer service like that is rare. Thank you Chris. I’ll recommend you to anyone who asks.

I rented a unit here for a month while transitioning between homes. Not only is the facility well-organized and spotless, but the management is top-notch. Chris deserves special commendation for his impeccable management. Whether it was following up on my reservation, reminding me of the facility's open hours, or confirming my move-out, he was always prompt and professional. The dedication to customer satisfaction is evident.

Originally when I came to this location it was supposed to be temporarily because it’s out of my way. However, your employee, Chris, and his team have shown me the highest level of service I’ve ever received. He is the reason I stay at this location, even though it’s out of the way for me. You’ve got a jam on your hands. I’ve never seen such a clean, welcoming and well run storage facility.

Chris is super helpful and maintains this place very carefully. They have regular inspections to make sure your place is safely locked. Free locks are also provided.

I recently needed to rent a storage unit for a few months while I was in between homes. I did some research online and found Public Storage. I was really impressed with their website, which had a lot of helpful information about their facilities and services. I also liked that they offered a variety of unit sizes to choose from. Moved out today and, yep, Chris was super nice and helpful every time I ran into him at the unit. Only thing close to positive about visiting a storage unit. Public Storage should give him a raise.

I used this storage for a month, while moving between apartments. This is an amazingly convenient and well managed property. It was very private and secure. Chris was very quick to help me with an issue and was very professional throughout my experience here. He also followed up after noticing I had vacated and was able to quickly help me close out my account and get some money back, that I thought I had lost. I'll definitely return here again for my storage needs.

Public Storage is a storage unit company that has many locations across the US. It's got easy access to get in, parking inside, and secure gates and doors. This location is right off the highway so it's easy to get to. Inside is really hot in comparison to outside weather so be careful what you store in there. The staff are super nice here and prices aren't too bad.

We went to our Storage Sunday afternoon 8/8/21, and Chris helped us with our needs such us handing out carts, and opening some doors to alleviate the heat and allow air into the hallways. Chris was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our experience was excellent. It made our storage move experience very comfortable. I recommend this Foster City Public Storage Location.

I rented a small storage unit here for around 6 months and had a great experience - moving in and out was super convenient, the space is clean and easy to access, and the manager was very helpful throughout the process.

I rented several units at this location over the years. It’s a wonderful location and I can’t say enough great things about the manager, Chris. I really felt safe at this location being in a well-trafficked area of Foster City (by McDonalds). Chris made several improvements to the inside and outside including security cameras and additional security on the doors. I loved being able to open the gate with the app and not getting out of my car! He would check on me when I came to my unit, but he was never intrusive and respected my privacy. He definitely made me feel safe and I tried to go when he or another employee was on duty. If you need a storage unit, this is a clean, brightly lit, friendly, and safe location.

Not enjoy the experience in Foster city location: - they “short staff “ that means even during office hours ( it delayed my move and cost another month rent rent $209! Because next day is part of the other month! (Even though have two days off during the week , other locations office open daily ) - facility not working well ! The elevator not working sometime ( assumed our rent suppose to cover the maintenance) they supposed to do maintenance when clients not there to make sure clients benefits ( more than days in a row elevator not working is just too much ! - the management not consider clients benefits I talked to them many times - the lock cost $21.86 , but can not being used on other locations -$1 promotion , at least cost $61! ( will add other fees)

We had a great experience at Public Storage Foster City. Chris was so nice and VERY helpful. He is a true professional and a wonderful person. Public Storage is lucky to have someone like him on their team. We highly recommend PS Foster City, very clean and an overall nice facility.

Major shout out to Chris. I have been renting in this space for over a decade. The previous manager Bill, retired and turn the keys over to Chris. I received a call from Chris to tell me that my unit might have been tampered with. I met with him and sure enough, someone had tried to get in. But it was so sutble, that the average person would not have seen it. Chris did. He explained what probably happen. Without me asking, He replaced my lock at no extra cost. Thats service. He's also a cool guy. My Man!!

I can't thank Bill enough for his help on a recent move from Southern California. At 5PM the evening before the movers were to arrive in Foster City, I realized that I had forgotten to pass on the storage unit key to my wife and brother who were coordinating the delivery in Foster City. Within 15 minutes Bill had the the old lock cut and a new lock and key taken care of. Too bad more businesses are run with this focus on customer service! And this morning I moved out and closed the account. If I ever need some storage I wouldn’t hesitate to use this facility. It’s clean and well maintained. Chris is obviously involved in the day to day operations and maintenance.

I’ve used this storage unit since late 2020 after covid and I just left recently. It’s been an amazing experience and the cleanest storage I’ve seen. Chris, who manages the place, does an amazing job keeping it clean and is what makes this place unique. His customer service is the best and I can recommend specifically him enough. Also, just to tell you how clean it is, I accidentally realized that I had some dry food items in storage and for 6 months nothing happened! Super clean place and you can’t go wrong.

I have a storage unit in the Baltimore area of Maryland. It was an ezStorage facility that was very recently acquired by Public Storage. Because of this, a new Public Storage lease had to be filled out and signed. Filling it out online was not appropriate for my circumstance, so I was told to go to any Public Storage facility to obtain a new lease. I chose a facility near me in Foster City. Chris, the manager at this facility, was extremely kind and patient and actually typed out the entire lease for me. He was very thorough and extremely competent. I give him 5 stars and am very grateful that he took the time and effort to complete the process for me. He even had to call the Baltimore facility a couple of times, given the transition, to make sure all was completed accurately and appropriately. I remain very grateful.

I have been a long time customer at this location. I have not had any issues with my unit or the staff. Recently I needed the help of Chris to correct a billing issue and as promised it was solved by him and the upper management of Public Storage. Chris provides excellent customer service and he is a pleasure to work with. Before Chris arrived Bill was also great to work with.

I have used multiple storage sites over the years, and Chris- BY FAR has to be the most helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and friendliest manager I've met. The site is very well kept. It was one was the tidiest storage spaces I've used, and every time you visit, Chris makes sure that your experience is smooth and easy. He goes out of his way to make sure that you are well taken care of and is also very fun to talk to! The location of the storage site is also great! There is a gas station right across the street, has multiple restaurants within less than a minute of walking distance, plenty of parking spots, and is nearby major freeways exits. Have had a great experience with this storage location. First off Bill was extremely helpful. He was understanding and helped us look for a resolution with a different storage location. Chris the new manager has been really polite and stays on top of reminding people to make their payment before the 11th. Been using this storage for years. The manager (Bill)that takes care of place really watches over the area super well. He is really helpful and cares about the customers. They are super secure over there one time I forgot to lock the lock on my locker and Chris called me right away to let me know. The folks who run this place are quite friendly! Decent prices given what's available in the area. The security gate is great, you can access your unit pretty much all day, and there are usually carts available to move your stuff up and down the elevator. The building seems pretty old, but the storage units get the job done. It can get pretty hot in the building, so keep that in mind if you're going to store anything sensitive to heat. Also, during the winter, moisture can collect in the units. They helpfully sell moisture absorbing kits in the office to help mitigate any effects from this though. I purchased one for a few bucks this past winter and I didn't notice any mildew in my unit. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for storage in the area. Shout out to Bill for being friendly and helpful!

Needed a place to store things before selling. Perfect place. Good incentive pricing; easy access location; courteous, nice, helpful manager (Bill). Clean, well lit unit. Feel comfortable storing my things here. So Bill retired and now Chris is the manager there. Had to go in to get some supplies and pay my bill. Chris is new but very knowledgeable and very helpful. So glad they hire good people.

Although this Public Storage does not have Climate Control, it is the best of all Public Storages in the area. Bill is super helpful and sets a very high standard for Customer service. Teresa is very helpful also. Two improvements that I'd like to suggest are upgrading the units and relocating the entry code module so that you do not have to come out of your car to punch your code for entry.

Me and my husband went to this place couple of days ago and asked Bill (the guy on the counter) if they have a small space available like 5x5 or 5x10. He said only 5x10 available and we decided to get it. I asked him if they have “2nd month free” promotion like they usually do. He said no, they removed the promotion and its no longer available. We ended up renting the 5x10 space from $158 plus insurance. Same day later on I checked their website and saw the 5x10 space was on “2nd month free” promotion and plus it was $138 a month. And they also had 5x5 space available at a cheaper price. My husband called Bill and asked if they can adjust the price accordingly. Bill said he would talk to his manager and get back to us and he never did, we’re still waiting. I called Public Storage customer service and was told their district manager Tim would give us a call and he never did either. We’re really disappointed in our experience and felt cheated on. As a salesperson Bill should've told us the promotion is still available. If we want it we can go online and make a reservation and come back. Instead of doing that simple thing and being helpful he lied unethically to our face and told us the promotion is no longer available. We ended up using only 1/3 of the space after we put the boxes in. Another downside of the storage is that it doesn’t have air conditioning. Even though we stayed only 20 minutes it was so hot and stuffy, hard to breath. Over all our experience I wouldn’t recommend that place at all. Go get a better storage somewhere else with a customer friendly service.

The storage units are well lit and easily accessible and very well maintained. The customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend these units.

Bill was very helpful and love the fact that the carts were not locked up. i always had trouble moving things around; because the carts were always locked up. Please keep it that way.
