Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 6676 Mission Street, Daly City, CA

The staff on duty her name is Elise is a very good marketing person. I was able to sign the application/contract immediately. She was very knowledgeable about her job and all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. She was able to find me good deals which was very timely. She was courteous and very focus on how to show me the location of my unit. I am happy and comfortable renting the unit to keep my personal belongings.

No elevator for more than a month.We are paying expensive and there is no elavator to move in heavy stuff .Are you guys planning to fix it??? You should fix the elevator we are paying expensive rent..!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I signed up online for a storage and was not notified that the elevator at the site was broken. I learned when I arrived with my stuff that the elevator has been broken for 2+ months with no ETA on when it would be fixed.

A month ago I went with my mom to look for a place to rent and we were attended by an excellent woman her name is Elise 👌 if you are interested in renting a place, ask for Elise very kind and respectful she gave us time and helped us with some heavy stuff (Strong Woman)! , thanks for helping us, Elise. u are the best

I am giving it one star due to it not allowing me to rate it less. The staff here is so unprofessional. I just called to ask why there was an increase in my rent without notice, and the receptionist yelled at me, saying they would make the increase for later, sent a notice, and hung up the phone on me without letting me speak. Continuously yelling through the phone, I could not even speak.

This location is the worst setup I have ever experienced before in my entire life. First of all the lady Elise is very, very rude and does not have any customer service skills. The building is inconvenient to renters that use a U-Haul truck due to the low hanging drive thru that is not high enough for a truck to pass under so you end up parking outside (where there is no space at all) and hauling all your items into the building. Mind you I had a truck full of my belongings. No drive up storage units available. Also they close at 6pm. So if you need to access your property after the office closes @6pm, you are not allowed to enter the gate. The office doesn't open until 9am so the dolly/carts are unavailable for use. Huge inconvenience for a mover with heavy items. I will never use this location again and I don't recommend it to anyone in the future. I just called to pay my balance and was told by Elise that THEY DONT TAKE PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE. (what king of business is this?). She also stated that I can pay thru the automated teller but they charge $20 extra. LMAO. I will never again.

Dropped my daughters apartment furniture off when the pandemic began. Clean facility. Not much help when we were trying to find a disposal company that could come pick up much of the material we didnt want to bring home 500 miles away. Very expensive but safe

It doesn’t make any sense to have storage places close so early! I understand staff but to make storage un accessible at 5pm on weekends is crazy. That’s when people typically are moving!

Great location for me. Only 10 minutes from home. It's very secure. I like it that they don't allow access between 6 PM and 6 AM. I would give it 5 stars, but it's a little too costly for that.

The staff is rarely available or on premise. The staff rarely answers the phone or calls back. One of the members is rude and easily gets excited.

This Daly City location is very convenient if you don't have a car; public transportation is near. I have been renting here for 10 years and have found management is reliable and friendly. Ms Elise, the current manager is very nice, knowledable and customer oriented. Recently she helped me to size my unit and facilitated my move to a smaller one with her expertise and advice. She also explained to me the changes of my move and how I would save money. I recomend anyone needing a space to give Public Store a try.

Definitely haven’t had a good experience coming here to make my payments. Black lady did not even want to give me her name but does take my money and says ok leave now instead of helping me. I was asking for detailed on fees and says she cannot do anything, I ask her if she can help me with resetting and says talk to customer service now leave. The fact that she kept saying leave and that I’m just arguing with her is frustrating. I just needed to make a payment and get help but she was definitely very rude and it is not the first time.

I love this Public Storage branch. ELISE the customer service staff was accommodating. She answers all my questions, hospitable and patient. She pick me a good rate and good unit. I love to rate 5/5 for her! Thank you so much Elise! I hope you will have more customers to come.

Facility is not accessible with a trailer /tall truck and smells like rats/mice. Main office was closed on a Thursday arrival

I received a call from Elise saying someone broke in my storage. She was very help full and made my transition to another storage space. I will tell my friends about this storage place if they need a storage. Elise is a excellent manager. Thank you for your help Elise.

Beware of this location! It has a low overhang that does not have enough clearance for some large U-Haul style trucks. When I called to ask about the clearance, I was promptly yelled at and was told that it’s “easy” and that they did not understand why I was asking my question. Then they proceeded to tell me to just park my car to grab my things. When I wanted to clarify my question, I was interrupted because I was “lecturing“ them and that they worked there for 13 years… and then they proceeded to imply that I was racist because they had an accent. I can’t wait to get my things and never support this cesspool again…

They close at five. Who does that? Also their carts hardly fit in the elevator. Imagine trying to move a whole stack of heavy boxes and your cart cannot fit in the

Elise was helpful with walking through the first phase of renting a storage unit. She went out her way trying to find me the best deal for my unit size.

Elise provided excellent and exceptional service from the beginning. Elise helped me manage everything about my storage units. Elise made it easy for me. I will recommend this facility to people I know. I am writing again on 3/29/22. The service provided by Ellisse is extraordinary!!! I left the lock to my unit unlocked when I left the facility. Ellisse removed my unlocked lock. Put on a temporary lock. Then called me to tell me what I had done. Incredible service!!! I went back to the facility. Ellisse removed the temporary lock and replaced it with mine. Thank you, Ellisse.

BEST storage we the prices rate is worth it with 24hrs surveillance cam..the employees very nice and helpful especially by the name ELISE she so great shes one step ahead on us on what service help we need...
