It's a very convenient location and the app to get in and out of the gate is great!
Completely insane rental rates now. They give you 30 day notice to sky rocket your rent to an unaffordable amount then dont care if you are disabled and low income and can’t do anything about it and have no mercy and won’t help. My rent is now almost $300!!! It was $75 when I moved in like 5 years ago. I’m disabled, my storage rent is now more than my actual rent, I only get $1k a month. Near $300 is now completely unaffordable to me, and of course I can’t reach anyone to talk about it on a wednesday afternoon! Even the company’s online chat says no ones available all day after I get this email. I’m furious. Last time they raised the rent over $50 with short notice they refused to give me an extra month to move my things as a disabled low income person. So I’m sure no one will care this time either. Now I actually can’t do anything, I’ll be out of state half the month next month so I won’t have time to move my things and find help, I won’t have the funds to get another unit same month to move to, in fact I never will have the funds to rent 2 units at the same time to move my things without someone’s generosity so this is just great 😡
They also never seem to have anyone in office at this location and after I changed my name over 4 years ago this is the ONLY business that refuses to fix it without going in person to show them my ID since they refuse to use email to do anything, so this is 4 years later the last thing in my life that STILL has my wrong legal info. No ones in the office ever to deal with it! I hate this place, I hate this company. They are now so $$$$ and for what?? 0 customer service and 0 compassion and understanding that sky rocketing rental rates with 30 day notice can ruin someone when you are RENTING a place for your things 😡😡😡
-Oh yeah and my light bulb in my unit has been out for a couple YEARS now and idk how to get help with that. Can’t see in my unit so that’s been fun! The ceiling is so high I would need a very tall ladder and again, I have a disability- so idk what to do for that either. Can’t seem to get anyone to help me at the physical location. Now I have to figure out how to move asap and in the dark unless a friend can help with the light too.

I can't stand public storage in general I have a unit on the 2nd floor at the 124th st Kirkland location. Elevator has been down for.a.while. Blake has gone above and beyond to help me with issues at the location
He gave me great ideas on how to move heavy items up and down th3 stairs. He helped me resolve issues with corporate also. He is a straight forward guy that gets things done.
Blake is super helpful, funny and goes the extra mile for his customers. Thank you!

Very nice folks at the office. Blake helped make closing out a 10 year long unit easy and worked with the out of state renter flawlessly. Grounds are clean always. Still have a unit here and don't plan on going anywhere. Thank you for all the help.
James was incredibly helpful. I called today because my lock was broken and he said usually it takes a few days to get it fixed. When I showed up this afternoon it was already finished and he did it free of charge, even gave me a new lock. Thanks James!!!

I like their app where you can open the front gate with your phone. The rental for a 10x10 was reasonable at $122 a month with the first month $1. We had an inside storage and you needed a pin code to open the outside door to the building. The minor things I didn't like was the building didn't have a door stop, so you need put one of your boxes there to keep the door open. The other was the light for your storage is a weak spiral fluorescent. If you want to change the bulb it is high enough that you would need a ladder.

E-set up is great, but disappointed that there’s no longer an on-site person at this location. I understand that there’s a customer service kiosk inside the main building, but it doesn’t help when there’s an actual issue.
I recently had to access my unit towards closing time due to furniture coming in at later than expected and did my best to leave at 9pm (actually left at 9:01) and I received a courtesy email reminding me to leave during operating hours.
When I did talk to someone about this, they stated that we’re giving three
warnings about leaving after hours and after the third warning our service would be terminated.
I understand there’s protocol and they need to protect their property, however if there was someone there on-site, I could’ve explained the situation.
I am happy with my unit and how clean everything is, I just would prefer to be able to talk to someone in case issues arise in person.
For some reason, I had to transfer the public storage account to a different person. The storage manager James did a good job facilitating the transfer.
