Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 32615 Pacific Hwy S, Federal Way, WA

Liz Is my angel I am a non tech stress out care giver. She is AMAZING. Has helped me soooo much. I have 3 units with you and she has helped every step of the way. I consider her a friend. She is a HUGE asset to your company.

Terrible storage units, always being broken into every other day. Liz, the property manager is on a power trip, she will take pics of things out of context and threaten to evict you, for example, I came in for some camping gear and she came by to say there was no food allowed there, but the food was in the bag that I brought, and that I was taking with me. And let’s talk about false advertisement because the only reason we got a storage unit here was because it was advertised with electricity. Liz decided to come at me, aggressively and irrationally saying that we were not supposed to use the outlet provided, but when I spoke to customer service at corporate, they said that they were going to correct her behavior because that was incorrect and we had every right to use the outlet in the storage unit that we were paying for. I had a lengthy speech with customer service and they were not happy about Liz’s way of conducting herself and the way she is behaving. Not to mention, they gave me a phone number to call for the person above her but when you call it goes to Liz‘s office, she doesn’t answer, and even if you leave a voicemail for her boss, specifically stating that you need to speak with her boss, she will call back and leave a voicemail Herself instead. The price of the unit goes up, randomly without warning without contact and without reason While the unit itself is getting worse. I have seen rats, snakes, and dogs running around freely without a leash. I have seen people walk in and walk out without using pins that don’t even look like they were looking at a unit I have seen countless cars parking outside, waiting to be let in and let out Liz has always been present and every time she has spoken to me she has made wrongful assumptions and I have had to call her out so many times that she probably just feels embarrassed so she continuously harassed me trying to find any reason to come and speak to me And it’s always ended up with her looking like a crazy person. I am sick and tired of it so we are getting a new unit somewhere else. Because how do you allow so much chaos and then come harass someone who’s using the unit as intended I will also mention that she has broken contract and stepped into our unit multiple times to poke around We set up the unit like an open floor so we can go in and go out for equipment when we need As an artist with a successfully growing business, I do have equipment that I need to get to and from If you are running a business and you need a storage unit for your equipment, do not come here they will waste your time waste your money and make you feel violated When I told Liz that the way she speaks to me was very demeaning disrespectful and borderline accusing her words to me were “I don’t care that is how you feel and that is how you are taking it” She also stepped out of bounds when she started asking me personal questions like what I do for work, and when I told her she freaked out and asked “here?” I looked at her crazy because nobody said anything about working at the storage and when I told her to stop putting words in my mouth because now she’s creating lies she got nervous so I do have a video of her doing a little drive-by recording, which I don’t know why she didn’t just come in and record If there was anything to record, you would do it in my face, so me getting a video of you driving by recording me with your personal cell phone just made you look even more crazy because why do you have to sneak a video of nothing Actually, she did get a video of everything I had set outside to take with me so I don’t know if that’s what she tried to tell her boss, but you can see in the cameras. I took everything with me and she Even harassed me to take my bags for me I had a car breakdown and I took everything out from inside. I sold that they’re at the storage unit and I was packing up the bags when she decided to tell me trash wasn’t allowed there that wasn’t going to be there. Liz is a liar

Terrible location. Not only did the price of our storage unit go up without notice two times in the past couple months, but the property employee Liz made me feel verbally assaulted by the time I was done talking to her. Not only has Liz managed to harass me nearly every last time that I have come to storage, but she has done things to make me feel dismissed and uncomfortable including walking into my unit. Today she tried to twist my words and when I caught her Attempting to put words in my mouth and twisting what I said, she put her wrinkly finger in my face and said “yes you did you said that!“. She didn’t let me speak. She spoke over me, making threats of twisting the situation saying that I could get kicked out For having work equipment in storage? The way she spoke to me was completely disgusting and unprofessional interrupting me speaking over me making subtle threats. She kept saying “well that’s how you feel and that’s how you’re taking it” and other dismissive disgusting sentences like that. She also said that they don’t write around for no reason and that if they say hi, it’s because they are trying to look at the content of our storage unit which it didn’t take a mad scientist to figure that out. When I told her that my job was making adult content and that i just come here for equipment she freaked out assuming I made it in storage?!! This woman is SICK Not to mention that they falsely advertise having electricity in units, but Liz said you’re not allowed to use the electricity and that they can flag you for using your outlet

Omg!! Khiry was an amazing guy!! He saw me going back to back to see the sizes of storage I wanted even if I wasn’t going to rent at his site. Finally I had to run back to him with his help because no one was on site at the other site where I wanted to rent at. The poor guy was in the middle of is lunch break and ditched it just to take care of my needs. I appreciate him so much for going out of his way to help me. Please recognize him for his work and kindness. Also I suggest overall that having workers on each site for customers who do not have the skills and literacy to do business online. And having someone at the site during office hours would make it more convenient for them. Again overall thumbs up to Khiry for making it possible 👍

I was quote a price of $43 by their reservation desk. When i got to the facility they charge me an extra $15 a month for insurance which I wasn't told about but it's not a big deal it's insurance I understand so my monthly total is $58. I've currently been renting from them for just 3 months. I get an email other day stating my monthly payment is going up to $75. I called the help desk and they said there's nothing they can do they can raise rates anytime. I understand rates will be eventually increased but after 3 months?? I feel like I was told this lowball price to get me in the door and now they are raising prices willie-nilly. It's not right and it's bad business...

Started renting here today and Liz provided the best customer service I’ve seen in a very long time. She didn’t mind showing us a couple units and giving great tips on keeping our belongings safe from weather damage. Thanks again

AVOIDE AT ANY COST!!!!! HAD TO UNLOAD MY CARGO VAN WITH HEAVY FURNITURE OUTSIDE OF MY NEW RENTAL PLACE!!! Worst customer service ever. Took me an hr and 30 min to book my storage unit. Because they kept transferring me over and over again. Some of the agents didn’t even speak English properly and when they didn’t understood a letter or word they would just hangup on me. How rude!!!! Agent told me that I have to verify my id as a first time customer. They told me office closes at 6. I came with the full cargo van with heavy furniture at 5:10. Office was closed. I couldn’t open my unit. I called customer service. They gave me office manager number. He was unavailable. I called public storage again. They said not to worry they will do verification online. Transferred me. Another agent said he can’t do it i have to make an appointment and transferred me again. ARE YOU GUYS KIDDING ME? What game are you playing? How should people trust you??? I had to go to my new house and unload my furniture outside. Wow Customer: Anton K.

Some random person calls you and says hey we’ll set up an appointment for you to come at 12 PM. You come at 12 Pm to wait in line for 25 minutes because apparently they made 3 appointments at the same time and none of them are in the system. And you automatically get charged for the lock even if you have one. And then have to be in line again to return it?

Public storage is a greedy company - after a few months of paying $45 for one unit, they decided to double the price to $80 *just because they can*. they'll try to keep you by giving you a "discount" for a few months, and then the charge will go up again. and of course when I left, they offered a different unit (the exact same size) for 45$ again. it's just ridiculous. the only positives are it's easy to move in and out, and the facility is clean. I highly suggest trying another company before this one if you can.

I'm joining the Army and about to be shipped off in a couple of weeks. I wanted to get my stuff out of my familys garage and in a secure place. Liz was super helpful, and suggested I get a climate controlled shed. (I have a vinyl collection.) She helped walk me through all the steps and answered all my questions with ease. Needed to store some things in a hurry, had reserved a unit on Sunday for a Tuesday move in. While on the way to the storage my vehicle decided it had other plans. Couldnt do anything about it and I had to go to work. I pushed off the reservation for a few days, forgetting to even notify PS. Decided i was getting it done today, called at 9:20 am or so, just to make sure someone was there. Bejrome answered the phone politely and said he would be there until 5. I grabbed a bag and started walking to the facility. I got there and told him I was there to verify and get my gate code. He patiently tried to find my reservation, then I asked if he wanted my account number. I gave it to him and he respectfully informed me I had made the reservation in my former last name. He was so nice about it, didn't make me feel bad, or get angry with me. I showed him my ID with both names, he gave me my account info and I went to my unit. Bejrome was a shining star for me today. I was most impressed that I was able to search for, reserve, and pay for my unit within 24 hours.

This place is not even worth a second thought. Do yourself a favor and avoid it at all costs. Your belongings will not be safe here. I was a customer with a large 10x30 unit here and one night I was coming home from work around 12:30 am and as i drove past i noticed the front gate was standing open, so i stopped and looked only to find that the front gate had been tampered with and broken open. I called public storage but no answer. Then i called the 3rd party company that monitors the cameras and they didnt even realize there was any problem. I was told there wasnt anything they could do about it either. So i actually pulled the gate closed and put my own chain and padlock onto it in order to keep it secure for the night. It was unbelievable. The next day the manager thanked me but this happened many more times and there were and still are many nights where the front gate stands wide open all night long. So you can be sure there is no security of any kind protecting any of the units other than the padlocks themselves. The manager of this place is a truly unprofessional and nosy woman who will get right under your skin. She will force you to let her come inside the unit while your there so she can check out your stuff and she has a bad tempered rude attitude. Honestly you would be better off at nearly anywhere else. My reccomendation to anyone looking for a safe and convenient storage facility is Totem Self Storage. I've been a customer of many storage facilities in my life and that one in Kent, Wa is far better than all of the others I've been to. You wont be disappointed. My 2nd choice recommendation would be Skyway Self Storage. Both of these places at least in my experience have been reliable. If you choose to bring your stuff to this public storage however, i wish you the best of luck as you are going to be needing it.

I rented a full size storage unit hear when I moved out of my house to market it. I'd never used a storage unit before and was a bit nervous. Now I wouldn't hesitate. The customer service was truly fabulous. The lady who manages the place is really on the ball and extremely helpful. When i had questions, her advice was right on the money and she went out of her way - even calling me when I moved out to make sure I gave timely notice so as to save me a month's rent. The unit was spotless. Another sign of really excellent management: all the other customers I saw there were peaceful and businesslike. When my big moving truck needed space, people were happy to help out. To me, that's a sign of really good management. Nothing like an easy experience to put people in a good mood.

Five Stars for this locations service and attentiveness. I'd add a sixth star for the property manager Liz, Michelle, and the other employees who've assisted me. Additional corporate investment in the property, particularly regarding increased security cameras, would be comforting and appreciated. Feb 2023 Update: Several additional security cameras have been installed. Much appreciated! Also, new paint throughout. The property continues to gain ground and the employees (6 Star Liz) are great.

I've been with public storage for 5yrs due to financial situations i had to give up my space. had no break ins customer service excellent everytime i come in or call I WILL BE BACK IN THE FUTURE!! THANK U SO MUCH MANAGER LIZ AND STAFF EXCELLENT SERVICE!!

Ive had a unit here for going on 9 months or so. I was impressed in the beginning, but the longer I rent from here, the sooner I am ready to move out. The rent prices are inconsistent. I was told i would be kicked out if my gate times didn't improve......bc God forbid a lady is tired and takes a moment to pull herself together after moving an entire home full of items on her own. Can't sit and no breaks i was told. I am to be constantly movning items from the moment I arrive at my unit until the moment I close the door and drive off. No time for hesitation or thinking. These are grounds for eviction. Though once again I am a single woman that's been moving my items by myself with no help. Thanks Public Storage for showing me that you don't allow your renters to be of the human race only that of robots......unless of course it's my neighbor a few units down he gets to pull out his chair and soak up the liquid sunshine and shine up his souvenirs he's collected over the years. Sad........

Steven was wonderful and went above and beyond to help my father find a good price and spot for his storage. I would highly recommend!! Edit**** They keep raising rent with no explanation and refuse to return phone calls. Rent went from $167 to 218$ and again now with no notice to $257. We had a military discount and everything. Would not recommend.

The customer service at this location today was phenomenal. Liz, the property manager, was kind as well as thorough. She was easy to work with and it was great working with someone who was so competent and had all the answers! I highly suggest renting storage from here. They also have a cool app now which allows you to open the gate from your phone. It's optional, but a great addition to the experience. They also have some great deals going on right now. Go on in or give them a call to check them out. Make sure you ask for Liz, you won't be disappointed with the service!

My original rating of 2 stars was for my online experience also with the call center. 5 stars however for the manager and staff. Liz is awesome and provides legendary customer service. Wish the gate access hours were open later.
