I want to sincerely thank Andrew, the manager at Public Storage in Richardson, for his outstanding customer service.
Recently, the moving company I hired failed to load my dresser mirror, insisting it was never in my storage unit. Unfortunately, I trusted them and didn’t oversee the loading process. After my furniture was delivered, I realized my large dresser mirror was missing.
When I contacted the moving company’s owner, he accused me of lying, insisting his “best” employees had never seen such a mirror and suggesting it must have been stolen from my storage unit.
Thankfully, I reached out to Andrew at Public Storage. He quickly discovered that the movers had left my dresser mirror in the storage elevator. He secured it for me, and today I was able to pick it up.
I will never use that moving company again — but I highly recommend this storage facility. Thank you again, Andrew, for your excellent and prompt service!

I rent a space at Public Storage, and the young lady, Natalie, was super nice and helpful. I thought I had dropped my key on my last trip, and when I told her, she didn’t hesitate to offer me a walk back (go down stair, trace back to the unit) to look for it.
Besides the great service, the price here is very reasonable — I even got 1 month free, plus a free lock as part of their promotion. When I first booked, I chose a small unit, but later I found another “small” unit that was a little bigger. Natalie was able to switch it for me at no extra cost.
Because of her excellent service and the great prices, I will definitely come back to rent here again and recommend Public Storage to others! Btw, the Public storage location that I was talking about is in Richardson, Dallas

I must say that my experience with Mrs. Tanya on Saturday was one that should be put in the books. She went above and beyond to help me with my unit that I was trying to get straightened out. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable beyond what could be expected. She stayed beyond her time to get me sorted and taken care of. These days customer service like that is a rarity! I ran into a home situation where part of my home was flooded with water from a broken A/C pipe. Not use to this type of experience, I had to get a storage unit at last minute and Natalie was there to explain everything to me. I have been with this location since they opened. Andrew has been an absolute star to work with. I recently left my storage door open , unaware of the time I couldn't get back up. As of right now I am giving 5 stars. This is new for me so I am going to give my review on what I have experienced thus far. I have been working with Andrew at this unit and he has been very kind and helpful. He is definately someone I would recommend you working with. I had a chance to work with Andrew on renting several units over the past few months. He was very knowledgeable of PS policies and patient as time was spent looking at the location of various units. I appreciate his professionalism and customer service. Tanya is another representative who works at this location and has a pleasant personality. .
I’ve been utilizing this Public Storage facility for two months and recently secured a second unit, which speaks to my overall satisfaction. The facility is clean, secure, and the staff is generally helpful. However, there are a few areas that could use some attention:
• Cell Service in the Basement: Once you’re in the basement, say goodbye to your cell signal. This makes coordinating with others or accessing information on your phone a challenge.
• Limited Access from First Floor: It would be incredibly helpful to have access to doors from the first floor, especially for transporting items that don’t fit in the elevator. Currently, this limitation adds unnecessary hassle to the moving process.
• Exit Door Incident: Recently, someone damaged the exit door, rendering it inoperable. Unfortunately, there was no signage indicating the issue, leading to confusion and delays.
Despite these issues, the facility meets my storage needs, and I appreciate the overall security and cleanliness. Addressing these concerns would certainly enhance the user experience.

My father in law moved his things to a bigger unit which was located on the 2nd floor and his old unit was on 3rd. The only thing I didn't like was having to go back down to 1st floor every single time to put in his code and go to another floor. Honestly that's a big inconvenience especially if you need to move to another unit on a different floor. Unfortunately he was able to get one on the same floor as the old unit which would have been easier. I'm only giving 4 stars because Andrew was very helpful when we had concerns or questions. Great customer service Andrew!

I came in 5 minutes before closing and Andrew was there to help. I went to the Markville location and the self serve tap to call machine was difficult. Both calls I made both women couldn’t help me. As far as the Public Storage place I am in which is the Buckingham Rd in RICHARDSON TX it's VERY Nice and VERY Secure. Love the ability to use your phone to move around the place and the fact you can't get to a floor unless you rent on that floor. Only problem I could see in for see about future would be the floor where you pull in and off or on load from. Car leaking oil and such muking up the floor but maybe they have a plan for that. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to rent a storage unit.

I’ve used a few different storage unit options, and Public Storage, particularly the one on Buckingham in Richardson, has always been one of my favorites- well laid out, well maintained, and the staff (including Andrew today) are always very helpful and friendly.

Bernice & Vanessa are what make this Public Storage facility the best in the Richardson area (unlike the property on Audelia Rd & Centennial, who's property managers suck). The Buckingham property is well maintained and clean and staff are helpful, respectful and accommodating.

This is one of the best storage facilities that I have ever moved in or out of. They have a covered load/unload area and clean restrooms throughout the building. The climate controlled atmosphere worked great when it was raining outside during the time we were loading. They have carts and working elevators that allowed me to move furniture down from the third floor with ease. They also have more unit sizes to choose from than any other storage facility I have visited.

Someone wrecked the access box and do you know that she comes in early and stays late to manually run the gate until corporate sends someone to fix it? Talk about customer service! Wow... The manager Vanessa is amazing! You don't often find younger people so dedicated to doing really well in a customer service capacity. What's more, it doesn't come across as an act, she's genuinely a kind, patient person who wants to help in whatever way she can. She even went above and beyond when my unit was locked that I purchased online she fixed it the issue within minutes even switch my unit and credit my account for transfer fee because someone put a locked on my unit. She took the time and stayed with me and made sure that everything was in order including my unit and my paperwork on my new unit. Thank you Public Storage for hiring a very sweet and passionate person who not only cares about her job but she cares and appreciate her customers.
