Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 655 Keen Drive, Garland, TX

I did not rent a storage space. I paid someone's bill out of kindness now they are charging to my card. Be careful, kindness does not pay here.

No lights in units and can never get in touch with property manager.

They have hidden insurance 15 $ and a new lock for 19$ which is compulsory to buy it and it customer service is zero..no one picks the phone...and even if they pick .call get hangup in a minute...lol..I was told manager will call me . ..it's more than a 2 month..still waiting for his call.. 😂

They just want you money. I was literally a day late on my payment and they immediately put a lock on it. I paid my bill and there was no one to remove the lock on my storage . There’s no one on site and you have to call them 100 times to even get a answer . 2 days and I still can’t get my things. I really hate this place .

Very disappointed... no employees on site anymore to assist. Called to make appointment and was told someone would be there. Guess what? No one in site. Saw a car parked by office but no one answered phone. Took 2 hours to get help. I had to drive far to get to my storage and was not expecting they would lie and say they would be there. They sent someone from another location. The have a kiosk in office now. It takes your money. All they care about is gimme. Im looking into another storage after at least 20 years doing business with Public Storage.

Very concerned. They didn't have electricity in the building I was in and plus there was a mattress just out in the hallway blocking me from my unit. 😐🤨.

Very nice and firebrick staff. A recent change has been made that allow you to do everything via app and at the kiosk. There's no longer a staff.

I have a unit here and had a great experience, Jade is very friendly and helpful. The property is well taken care of and clean.

To be honest, I was kind of worried at first when I came in to this facility due to a previous experience at another storage facility but Jade changed all due to how she was very knowledgeable about the services that public storage offered at her location and in addition to that she also kept the entire property very clean.

I have to be honest, I was hesitant at first. The company name is basic and the bright orange hue of the building burns my retinas. However, upon entering the compound and interacting with the staff, I was pleasantly surprised. The facility is immaculate and secure. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn't recommend this more. If Michelin rated storage facilities instead of restaurants, this would be top rated. Since, they do not, here you go.

We recently moved out of our storage unit, only because we got more space available in our apartment, but we have rented at this Public Storage twice already, and will probably be renting there again as we accumulate more than we need. Ashley was always very friendly, helpful and professional every time we met with her, which is a direct reflection on the company. Both times we rented there our unit was clean and (important to me) dry. The driveway and parking area always looked as though it had been freshly swept, which is awesome considering the way some people treat rental areas. Trust me, I will be back.

If 0 stars were possible, that's what they would get. My unit leaked for 4 months without repair despite multiple calls to the property and the district manager. We were told it was fixed at one point and the next time I went to check on my things they were wet...again. The original district manager at least attempted to make things better by discounting our rent for 2 months. The new manager however has no regard for customer service. He was rude from the start and cut me off several times while I was speaking. My family has used Public Storage off and on for years. This is the last time we will EVER use them. Abysmal (more like non existent) customer service and no desire to protect my items that I pay good money to be safe and dry. Completely unbelievable.

We recently rented a storage unit with Public Storage on 655 Keen Dr, Garland, TX. The process began from viewing available units online. We immediately received a call back after reserving the unit to schedule a date to actually see the unit/rent in person. We had the pleasure of meeting Wendy onsite to do the walk through of the unit as well as proving us with knowledgeable information to obtain the appropriate unit size to accommodate our needs. Her customer service and professionalism is outstanding. The location is easy to find. We would like to thank Wendy and Public Storage for the outstanding service they provide for the community.

I recently booked a unit via internet at this location. Within a short period of time, a lady called me back to confirm my appointment. When I went down to the property to take a look at the unit, I was greeted by Wendy. She was very friendly and supportive of me and my questions (seeing as this is my first storage unit I've rented in my life). Wendy was very informative, polite, helpful, and patient. She went above and beyond to make sure I understood all of the guidelines and made me feel comfortable throughout my experience there. A week later, I returned to move in my things and again Wendy was there to make sure I had a smooth transition. Again, thank you Wendy for all of you're support and you're friendly smile, you are deffinatley an asset to the company.

We just moved in on Saturday, loved the unit, the property, and the sweet lady that helped us, April Rice!!! The property was so clean and a great value for the size we got. April was so sweet and helpful, she answered every question we had plus some and to top it off she was even sweet to our three boys! That above review was when I moved in, a month later and I have already had an experience that makes me question whether I will continuing storing there. I am a customer at 655 E Keen Drive, Garland, TX 75041-3725 location, I paid my storage more than a week ago and I go there yesterday to get some Halloween stuff out. There lock was on my unit, it was 5:30 so no one was in the office. I called and left two voicemails and did not receive a call back today, so I called for a third time and got voicemail again. I finally get a call back from April and the only thing she said was the lock was off now. I asked why it was not taken off a while back and she said the only thing I can say is I don't know. There was no apology for me wasting my gas to go to MY storage and NOT being able to get in. If this is the kind of service I will continue to get I might have to switch storage companies.

I own and operate Moped Design and Customs and I have been at Public Storage for 4 months now. The service has been excellent since day one, although we do miss Ms. Jean, the new manager, Ms. Ashley has gone above and beyond in assisting me in procuring storage units and honestly made the whole storage rental process from rental to a unit transfer across town as painless as an email.
