Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 13391 Custer Rd, Frisco, TX

I took a tour of the property and got a call from the customer service person. Her name was Tia she was very courteous and helpful. Although I did not go with that public storage and went with a Storage coming out closer to My Home if I had moved where I was going to move, I would’ve went with them because the facility was very clean and easy to maneuver so therefore I will give them five stars because customer service was great. The facility was clean and it seems well organized.

What a great experience here today! Tish and Tia were nothing short of amazing. There were a few hiccups when first setting up my reservation and I ended up having to wait for a bit of time to gain access to the site. After moving things at home all day, I was tired and grumpy and was irritated about having to wait but Tish and Tia were so kind and understanding. They were apologetic and gracious. By the time the transaction was finished, Tish and I were laughing and exchanging stories. Best of all, our exchange was a good reminder of putting things into perspective. And then I realized how embarrassed I was for overreacting to something so small in the bigger picture. They could have easily put me in my place but, instead, chose to show kindness even amidst my temper tantrum. Thank you, ladies, for your patience and understanding today. And thank you, Tish, for such a sweet interaction!! Y'all are amazing. <3

So far my experience with Public Storage has been amazing. Tia called me to ensure I had reserved what I needed and helped me find the drive-up 10x30 that I needed plus two 10x20 climate controlled units! Moving a large house is stressful and she made it easy! The online prices were better than every other place I checked.

I love this place. it’s always clean and there is always a cart available to use. The staff there are super helpful. Allen, Cho and Bryan are the best. They help me with all of my storage needs and answered all of my questions. They made my experience there a breeze and whenever I need a storage unit though I live in McKinney I will always come to the Frisco public storage location.

TISH WAS AMAZING! Wow! First time buying a storage unit, definitely not the last! Im not trusting any other location or company to rent a storage unit with. Latosha in McKinney was so helpful in getting my mother moved out of one unit that she had been in for several years and moving her stuff in a smaller unit of mine. Bryan was the manager that called me back and gave me excellent service and answered all my questions. Super satisfied and highly recommend this location! The staff here is superb! Latasha, the property manager, is a super nice lady and will try everything to accommodate your needs. Consider this place before trying others.

Latasha was instrumental in assisting me (long-time client) w a rate reduction after receiving a ridiculous increase from last month-the 4th increase in 36 months. I understand & accept rate hikes … but this most recent increase was OVER THE TOP at 31%! She goes the extra mile to make sure her clients are happy … escalating my situation to the highest level, ultimately landing a hold on the rate increase. Truly felt she was on my side. Thank you LATASHA! What an asset to your employer & a blessing to your clients!

Stopped by Public Storage to rent a unit and LaTasha was so awesome in explaining all the procedures,walked me through everything, thoroughly took me through the process of entering the codes etc...She was so pleasant to talk to and do business with. I'm happy about my decision to rent there.

Updating my review to 4 stars because the new manager , Latosha. She addressed my issue promptly and directly! I've only had one issue with Public storage and it was with the MAJOR rate hikes. I do realize that EVERYTHING is going up but these last two pushed me over the edge. Im very pleased with the outcome however, thank you.

This location is GREAT. The property is really well taken care of. We dropped by without appointment to look at a space and everything was really clean and organized. Latasha made the rental process so quick and easy to understand. She took the time to explain all the important details of our agreement with us and even called out a few security and convenience measures we needed to consider. She really went above and beyond for our service. I love how locked down this place is too- personal passcodes at multiple spots along the way. Made us feel comfortable that our belongings were secured. Move-in day was a breeze thanks to all the nearby parking, wide walkways, and all the on-site carts we used to haul heavy items in.

The most horrible property manger ever . I tried to down load to a smaller unit , told me I had to pay a transfer fee, an administrator fee and make appointment , then told me her name was Pam very hesitant to tell me.? Moving forward it was all a lie except make appointment,could not tell me how much each one was I had to come inn. I call customer service Amanda not sure if she was area manager are what ? She sad no i well lakiesha says when I call she came from another store to wait for me, which was a lie ,lakiesha didn’t know Haleigh told me she was the property manager, and

Sometimes we are in a desperate need, God sends help. This Storage came to help me at my desperate situation. Will keep my love in the Storage Alive. Kevin is a thief. He cut my lock on my unit. Claims I was in auction status. I wasn’t. I called corporate they stated my account has never been in auction status. He also lied and said I don’t have voicemail on my phone. But I have a voicemail from him stating he cut my lock. After several attempts to contact him. I finally spoke with him. He now claims my storage lock was cut in January but I’ve been to my storage several times since. What happen is he went through my until. He saw something he wanted. Now he’s trying to steal it. He is very unprofessional. Never in the building never answers the phone.

Horrible customer service with Manager and district manager the application was not working and was very frustrated with the transaction district manager do not care about customer wanted to cancel my service and still have me pay for the whole month and I was only goi g to us a couple of days

I started my storage search online and was unable to complete the process. Lisa gave me call, set me a same day appointment to come in to complete my rental. When I arrived she was with another customer, she acknowledged me, told me she would be right with me. As soon as she was done with the previous customer she greeted me again, took me on a tour of the unit I would be renting. She helped me locate the best storage for me and my stuff. She was really great.

I’ve had a crazy experience trying to figure out how to figure out how to find the best Storage facility for me. I have been looking for quite a few days online trying to Google what would fit just right for all of my belongings and make sure that they would be safe. After finally feeling like I might have a little bit of information I decided to find one near the home that I was moving into, because I didn’t have much time to find something that will work. I was pleasantly met by a woman named Sarah! She was extremely informative and very patient with all of my questions. I’m pretty sure I had more questions than five or six people combined lol! After showing me several units I was able to grab two of the larger units that I needed and now I feel much better and save her with the decisions made! I will be very honest I wasn’t excited about this decision at all, and especially with the fact that I wasn’t sure that this was going to be something that was going to be saved for my belongings! If it wasn’t for Sarah I likely wouldn’t feel this comfortable moving into a storage facility but she has made this very comfortable or knowledgeable in this situation! I recommend Public Storage, ESPECIALLY this location a million times over! It is very clean and well taken care of and seems very safe and I do not worry about anything happening to my belongings!

Worst customer service around! Very limited office hours. Overpriced... You can only use their specific lock, they will not pro-rate your unit, so you end up paying for a whole month. I called and tried to speak to customer service, and the woman hung up on me after raising her voice. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor to file a complaint. No supervisor available, I left a message on the 'supervisor' voicemail, and no one ever returned the call. I called and left a voicemail at my location no one returned the call...I called a second time expressing how I have called 6times in less than 24hours, and now I'm really upset... Finally I get a call back, but now it's too late to help me. They could have helped me the day before, but not now.... You mean yesterday, when I called 6times???? How convenient for you. Worst service ever!!!!!!! Never again will I use Public Storage!

My husband and I recently rented a storage unit within this facility back when the pandemic first started in late March/early April of 2020. You have been a wonderful blessing to us from the word go. Seriously, she has been the most amazing, helpful, kind, as well as knowledgable person here, when it comes to any and ALL questions or concerns someone might have. Moving is kind of a pain but my experience at this Public storage was excellent! I rented the unit during the pandemic and the online experience was seamless and very well done with all the right communication and information. The facility itself is clean and bright and the customer service was superb. Frankly, I would rather chew off my own leg than move again but I would certainly recommend this Public Storage to anyone needing some temporary storage space.

Publis Storage has let their security lapse, which resulted in breaking to 6 storage units, including one of mine. One of the security gates was broken for days or weeks, their video security monitoring is woefully inadequate and their personnel don't regularly patrol the premises. They didn't discover the break-ins until the afternoon following their occurance.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Sarah was incredible in assisting me set up my unit and explaining all the in's and out's of the property. Extremely professional and personable. Thank you Sarah!!!

Overall my experience setting up my first storage unit was easy and pleasant. The manager Sarah was very professional and informative. The value of the unit compared to other competitors in the area was great. The only complaint is some of the hidden fees for sign up. There is a one time admin fee and a one time lock fee, neither refundable, so expect an additional $40-50 at sign up.

Worst service! Unwilling to work with us when our card got stollen. Beware they will change the lock and sell your stuff if you are late in payment. Then they will charge you for a new lock that you can only buy from them. Also be aware rent will go up when they feel like it. Our rent went up almost 200% after two months after signing up. Not OK!!!

Nice, clean storage facility, but be prepared for a 15% increase in monthly charges only after 4-5 months of service. I called the regional manager about this increase, and they said that it's based on demand. Well, I'm already in the storage unit, and they know that customers can't simply pick up and move somewhere else overnight. Price gouging at it finest...

This storage is by far the best cheapest place, it helps that the ladies at the office are awesome! My family came over to help me moved all my stuff from my apartment. The bathrooms at the loading dock is definitely a plus! Other storages should do the same!

In my book, moving is absolutely one of the most stressful things I can do, UNTIL now. I cannot say enough about Sarah at Public Storage in Frisco, TX. She is absolutely AMAZING!!! She is very attentive and knowledgeable and was able to remove some of the stress normally associated with moving for me. The icing on the cake was when she took me into the facility to locate my unit...when I tell you that building was spotless and you could smell the freshness in the air, I was convinced this was the best facility around with one of the BEST staff members ever!!!

Kelly was very thorough and did an excellent job of walking me through the process. Kelly deserves 5 stars. I rated 3 as there were things I felt weren’t clear and unexpected when I reserved the unit online. For example, you are required to purchase their cylinder lock which was an additional $20. Also you are required to purchase insurance on the unit which is a minimum of another additional $11. Facility itself is very clean, well lit and secure.
