Whatever you do , stay far away from this storage facility!! They don't care about you or your goods. And the worst thing is that it is way over priced. I had rented the same unit ,a 10' x 10', for almost 10 yrs. You would think they'd give their long time residents a break a time or two. No way ! New residents get all the great deals in cheap rent. And no breaks for their loyal tenants. He'll no ! They wanted to raise my rent drastically $75 . They wanted $275.00 for the same 10'x10' I was already renting. A COMPLETE HIGHWAY ROBBERY !! This facility has never been safe. Homeless people stay overnight in some units. So always shady characters around. I've finally had enough !! I tried to pay a pro rate when moving out before leaving , and they said I had to pay the whole month's rent. All of a sudden I could not pro rate anymore. When before it was ok . Honestly this place will milk you to try and make their high vacancy money back. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !! Public storage should be at the bottom of the list of storage facilities. I now have a 10' x 20' at Life Storage for $100 / mth. Way happier now. 👍

this is a clean and safe place to keep your stuff. the manager Lauren text me and asked if i new my lock was off ( i forgot to put them back on(. so she secued it for me until i could return and put my locks back on. Lauren is one of the nicest and most helpful people i have ever met.. Highly recomend this place

Clean and as expected Well attended also.. The only thing is that the gate closes at 9 PM and you can’t get in there until 6 AM

The worker always has her cars parked by the gate, making entry and exit very difficult.

Just want to say Lauren has always been great to work with and has always made sure that I was satisfied with my storage needs. customer service always is amazing and I would definitely recommend this facility I never had any issues of any kind. Thanks Lauren 👊 😊

Great super service always here at this public storage. Lauren is amazing and goes above and beyond and has the compassion everyone in this world should have. I've been using this storage for 5 years off and on. And one of the reasons is the service that provided by Lauren. In my honest statement public storage should be giving her a big raise. If it wasn't for her customer service for so long at that too, who knows if this location would still be up. Thank you Lauren for always being your best and doing your best to fix anything that comes up. I put 5 stars but you deserve double that. Corporate this woman keeps this location going so appreciate it and give her a raise. The LORD and I KNOW she well deserves it and its past due.. 10 ⭐'s !!!

Clean storage, staff is knowledgeable about the business and has excellent customer service skills. Staff is kind and very pleasant to do business with! My leg was hurting while waiting for my paperwork to be completed and a very kind lady brought me a chair to sit down while she finish my paperwork. You won't be disappointed!

I am so glad I went with this location. Management here is top-tier. The best you'll find anywhere. They are friendly, helpful, and respectful. They also seem to keep a real good eye on the place. And it's well maintained; I've seen repair people actively changing fixtures etc., and they even put some fresh paint on the other day! So if you're wondering where to put your stuff, look no further. This is it.

Renting our space was fast and easy. The manager on site was very professional, personable, and extremely helpful. She made renting and moving into our storage go as smoothly and easily as possible (when usually these things are a major hassle and leave you with nothing but a huge headache...) Renting here was the exact opposite!! I personally couldnt be happier with my choice. Hands down, I recommend getting your storage here over any other place I've ever rented a space. It has never been easier!! The rates were very reasonable and competitive for the area and there were even tons of super inexpensive move in deals online (I got mine for just $1, yes, you read that right, only ONE DOLLAR for the first month!!) It's location is convenient to anywhere in Austin, its spotlessly clean, and its super secure. The grounds are very well kept with no janky broken doors, tons of trash blowing around, stacks of old furniture by the dumpsters or repairs needing to be made but left unattended to (like all those "other" storage facilites have.) The Manager, Lauren, will do everything possible to ensure your needs are met, from calling to welcome you and confirm your space and move in date/time as soon as you make your reservation online to making sure your unit is going to be size appropriate for your belongings. She goes above and beyond to complete your rental experience with 1000% satisfaction. If there were 10 stars, she would deserve them all. This place gets an 🅰️➕️➕️➕️ in my book and the staff gets *️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣*️⃣ 10 Stars!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Public Storage on S 1st St.!! You'll be SO glad you got your storage here, as I am!! 👍👍👍

did everything online when I showed up keys were in the unit everything was ready to go loved it

I don’t often leave reviews but Lauren went above and beyond what anyone would expect. I came in thinking I might cancel my reservation and go with another storage company, but Lauren changed my mind. She actually recommended another Public Storage (same company) location which was better suites for my needs and closer to me. Honestly whoever is in charge should give her a raise.

Tarah and Lauren are wonderful staff members who are extraordinarily helpful. They always have a great attitude and willing to address all needs and concerns expediently. Very communicative and pleasant to work with. Love these gals.
