Awesome customer service

Service sucks, they never answer their phone. Rude and disrespectful. You say call a head of time. Did that for 3 days still no phone calls were answered and no one at the stores. You helping out for 3 days in some......

I have had a storage unit at this place for more than a year to keep my college stuff. I always pay my rent on time! But recently, the key to my unit was stolen after my car was broken into. I have been trying to contact ANYONE who works at the property to see how I could get a new key. I’ve called dozens of times, left messages, and every time I call I get a message machine!! Fix the phones and hire staff that will do their jobs! And the ground is uneven!

The staff does NOT stay until End of shift and you sit and wait and then she sneaks and leaves so you can’t receive help. My storage had rats so a lot of my items got damaged. I wouldn’t rent here. The service is not good and obviously rats are not a good sign either.

Lynn was very very helpful. I appreciated the great service he gave me and the trouble shooting for me to aquire the Labor Day Special I had almost given up but he hung in there even though the computers systems were not working correctly. Thanks 🕎

This place allows homeless and junkies to live in their units. They broke into my unit and they won’t do anything about it. Just said file a police report which I have and a claim but never got any reaction from the staff. Your stuff is not safe at the collins location!! Nobody ever in the office either.

YOU CAN NEVER REACH NO ONE OVER THE PHONE EVEN WHEN YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE NO ONE STILL CALLS YOU BACK. My storage fee went up $30 with no reasons why. I been trying to contact someone for over 2 weeks I left so many messages and no one still hasn’t returned my calls. This is sad at this point.

I stopped in to pay my rent. I store at another location out of town. I was going to have to move out because of rent cost but Danielle was very helpful and she was able to get my rent reduced for 6 months. Very grateful. If you have storage needs go see Danielle.

Well things have changed! When i leased this storage, i was told i had 24 hour access due to my work on corperate computers and servers. I dont have room to keep everything where i live now. Suddenly with no warning my 24 hour access is taken away without notice or warning. I called and left messages on their phone but have gotten no exuce or even a call back. And they have people there who seem to stay there all the time. And who dont keep there stored item in there unit but all out in the drive way. I thought they were stopping all that. They were starting to work on the driveway but have stopped. Im considering calling the city im sure they would make them fix the driveway. And possibly stop these people from living there. I dont know what happened to the manager but the office always seems closed now. I had high hopes for this place and it seems they eere for naught.

Upon being showed the unit, after reserving online, the lady tried taking us to one that was inside the building, when my reservation had 10x10 outside access, drive up. She then took us to an outside unit, but failed to inform us it was a bigger unit. Upon getting back to the counter, the other young lady told us the new size (10x40) and charge. Uh, no. Read what my reservation stated and the first young lady then showed my husband an outside unit with the correct dimensions. Upon doing the contract and seeing the final price $57.59. I asked where all these charges were coming from. They charge for a lock $19.99, they don't tell you that, would have brought my own. Then they tell you that you must have insurance on the unit. Upon opening the account at home, I went in and canceled the insurance (something you should be able to do at the counter, I know because this is not my first rodeo). And I have never heard of a storage unit charging you again on the 1st of the month when you didn't get your unit until after the 1st.

Grea customer service!

The only problem here is the high traffic & it's bad. However, the management makes up for the traffic headache. The property is clean & once you rent a unit, it's a breeze getting in & out the gated area. I'd recommend Public Storage with the special rate they have going on right now at certain properties. Check their online site for specials.

Entry and exit can be difficult from Collins. Lighting is not maintained nor is an on going pest control program. Have been requesting service on the lighting since June 2018. Finally saw a pest tech on site who told me the facility had not treated in at least 6 months. They had no problem implementing rate increase, take it or leave it. But the Bright Orange Doors are a real eye catcher.

WORST PLACE EVER TO GET A STORAGE BEWARE OF THE MANY LAWSUITS THEY HAVE I WISH I WOULD HAVE GOOGLED THEM BEFORE USING THEM! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! They got really ugly 3x with for me sleeping in the storage unit that i had rented so when they caught me the 3rd time the told me that i had until 9:00pm last night to get all of our stuff out or it would be auction off tomorrow morning... if anyone that has any kind of legal information that you would like to tell me what the laws are on eviction please let me know because In my eyes I had until 11:59pm that night to get all of my stuff out and there was a sign on the gate saying gate access hours Monday-Sunday 6am-9pm....

The only serous complaint and concern that I have is the way that district manager John Ramsey (of the 100 N Collins Arlington location) stereotypically choose to handle understandable incident . District manager John Ramsey repeatedly aggressively referenced me a (African American) as his partner as he very rudely addressed my concerns ! People with this kind of mentally has no place in our evolving American society and serves only as a black eye to any business or franchise !

Has rats that go thru you things...had rat poop on all my things because they're by a field and when they renovated their insides they blew all the debris into our units, I had dust on everything

Opening Account Process: Liz did great. Speedy process. We both recommend offering military discounts to attract more customers. I could get a climate controlled unit in fort hood for $65. It's in a good location but prices could be negotiated to show more appreciation for their service members that store items in these facilities during deployments. Closing Acct Process: I called last month and told the rep I didn't need the unit and was going to close it out begining of this month. Then I came in person last Saturday, dropped off my keys filled the paper work out. Then I check my account online and find out they charged me for a whole month storage fee of $55, when they said I was good, cleared my acct, and had no balance to pay. Still waiting on them to resolve this at the moment.

Honestly this is my 3rd time trying to get into my storage. I live in Houston and every time I visit Dallas I attempt to get into my storage but cannot because - OUT OF NOWHERE they changed the doors and locks on all of the units. Every time I show up no one is in the office, and this third time someone was actually in, but since they only have one person working at a time, she had to help someone start a lease which she said would take 20 minutes. The customer service is horrible just because they don't have enough staff for the people who actually NEED service and aren't just able to access their unit. If I had things my way I'd never go in...but unfortunately, I have to wait for the ONE person they have working, to finish a tour and lease, just to get keys to my unit that I've been forking out $70 for every month, because my keys no longer work. I will say that Clara was as polite and accommodating and has great customer service, I just think the company puts their workers in a terrible situation by only having one person work.

Casey is amazing! Going to Spain for a month and was to uncomfortable with leaving my things inside of a un-watched home for that long. So last minute (13 hours before my flight) i decided to put everything i own into a storage for safe keep while i was gone. Casey made the experience so amazingly easy that im sure that i will be using her help with any/every time i go on a trip. My day was extremely hectic as you could imagine, But Casey's customer service was what i needed to turn my whole day around. She had a upbeat attitude and made sure that she provided me with all the information that i would need and just to add she is extremely fast! Casey alone had me sold on the space before even seeing it and it feels great to know that even leaving across country that my things are in her hands. Thank you Casey and Public storage for a easy and inviting process.

We were helped by Kasey , Nice and friendly service ...Had a positive experience at this location got me a great price by booking online and saving me 20 bucks on my monthly bill.. Was in and out in a matter of 15-20 mins . my only advice is go to there during none- rush hour and avoid the traffic for easy and quick access to the facility .. over all happy camper

This place is running a scam on people.they get u in and say that rate is prorated n charge a full month.dnt tell u dat itsnt payed for full month instead its only til first.they dnt call u until its past due in order to collect a 20$ late fee.beware of their dirty antics.dont recommend anyone use this place
