I've used in past is good clean place. So we have rented again for mothers things.

Rude staff. DM likes to yell at disabled people. Not worth the hassle or money

I cannot say enough good things about Blake and this location. I "inherited" the locker when my Mom passed a few months ago. She had been a customer for 6 years and very happy. Blake was really above and beyond in helping me navigate the paperwork needed to take care of what needed to be done. Not only did he do that, he has been extremely friendly and nice to deal with for the past few months. In dealing with all the sad details of my Mom passing, Blake was and remained one of the bright spots of the whole ordeal. He is a very helpful, friendly guy. Also - the grounds and the facility are always in fantastic shape. There is never trash laying around. Everything is well maintained. I'm sure Blake probably has a hand in making that happen too. Thanks for everything. I've really appreciated having a guy like Blake to be the "face" for the business I had to do here.

Blake went above and beyond his duties as a employee when I couldn't get anywhere with corporate or anyone for that matter he rectified the situation when I was at my witts end and being on a fixed income It would have screwed me bad bub!!!!rhelped

Thank goodness for Blake. He really saved the day when my fiance and I had an issue with our account and corporate was absolutely no help. If not for Blake and his extensive knowledge of public storage "protocol" we would have been screwed.

Been here for years. I don't like that the prices keep going up, but the stuff is very courteous and helpful. Facilities are clean and reasonably well maintained. Blake is very helpful at the front desk.

We moved our RV into this place and thought it was great. However, over time, there have been two break-ins that we know of. The first time, we were notified and asked to check out our vehicle to make certain it was ok. The second time, two people jumped over the four foot fence and stole our catalytic converter. We were not told about it until we went to the office to let the property manager know. He told us that yes, they had the video of the people jumping over the fence and sorry, there was nothing to be done. There was nothing they WOULD do. Absolutely nothing was done to improve security. In addition, we have been asking for some time that low hanging and broken branches over the drives be trimmed. We were told that that had not "been approved" and that there was another route available. However, that route has a very low place in the turn where the RV drags. All the while, we have had three increases in rent over the past year with no improvements. This month, we moved to a place that cost about $40 more each month; however, there are 8 ft fences with security cameras everywhere. In addition, there are electric hookups for each site. Plus, there is potable water, an RV wash pad, and propane available for the monthly costs. I am willing to pay more but not for a simply covering for the RV. When I told the property manager why we were moving, he said, Ok, Thanks! This is not a good place for a RV.

The place is clean, service on the inside has been great from the employees. My only complaint is the entrance is very tight but I understand that it is difficult/impossible to change that. Otherwise, continuing my storage here.

Place was fine. Interior storage space, so a little trek was involved. That building location was a little inconvenient. But, I never once was concerned about my belongings, and that's what's most important

Nice storage unit, get what you paid for. LOL don’t get yourself locked in like me, and then have to pull a ladder out of your storage unit to hop over the fence then get arrested because the cops got sent out for suspicion of burglary then they find out what had happen and arrest you anyway because of a warrant you have for avoiding communication with your probation officer for over a year. #Winning

Blake and Zach have both been great at Public Storage on Gravois. Blake was very thorough at the beginning of my rental explaining the process and what to expect with my rental. Zach has helped me with my storage needs once I moved in. The property is clean and the Public Storage app has the ability to open the gates when I arrive and when I am leaving the property. This makes the property easy to access. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a storage unit.

The service at Public Storage on Gravois Road in Affton is outstanding. They were able to provide a covered parking space for a car tied up in an estate for 4 months at a very reasonable rate. The online application and auto pay made it super easy with me being out of town and the text with the gate code made it very convenient for access when I needed it. I highly recommend this Public Storage location.

I had an unpleasant issue here but had someone follow up and make the experience work out. Never had any issues with staff and seemed like good people working the office whenever I was there.

Good value clean lockers.

For starters this place is terrible to get into, the location is awful. In November half of our storage unit was stolen. When we inquired about cameras they said they have none...ZERO.. zero cameras watching your belongings. All it takes to get into your stuff is a code at the front gate. Apparently the night our stuff was stolen there was someone there from 8pm to 3am hitting multiple storage units. Then it slipped that someone else could have just hopped the fence and hit the boxes. Then to top it all off they raised our rent another 10 dollars. Excuse me but what am I paying for if people can honestly hop the fence and steal from us. I would recommend anyone thinking of using this place to find literally anywhere else. A card board box out behind your house would probably be more suitable and they won't charge you more every 6ish months.

The location is a bit much to get to, but I like the way the buildings are situated. My unit is very easily accessible and that makes me happy. When I went to start my storage unit I was met by a darling of a young lady! Britney checked me in and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great gal, I love her energy! Thanks so much!

Place is a joke! Avoid! They took my "reservation" and when I got there 30 minutes before the moving truck they told me they already rented my unit! i had an appointment and a RESERVATION! Place is run by a young kid who could care less! They told me maybe I could get a place downtown! Thanks a lot! Two men and a Truck helped me and I am storing my stuff with them! Call Two men and a Truck if you want a company that actually cares. I will never use Public Storage EVER! Lousy company that does not care about their customers! Tried to get a manager and of course got nowhere, although I am not done. I will be taking this above their district manager until I get someone that actually cares!

It's a great place. It's always clean and friendly. The gentleman, Blake, is always nice, tidy, VERY professional and kind. It goes a long way with service these days and he is fabulous. The workers are exceptionally kind and very efficient.

Locking mechanism was broken on storage unit, despite informing the office multiple times and documenting with photos each time, nothing was done. One day, lo and behold, expensive and cherished family possessions were stolen in December. The purchased lock was on the unit, like always, but if the door mechanism itself is broken, no lock will keep it closed. Police report filed, claims filed, no help from management. They also have no record of the multiple reports made about locking mechanism being broken. They offered to order a new mechanism which would arrive in a week or so. We didn't wait for anything else to be stolen and fixed it after a trip to the hardware store. Extremely disappointing.

Called today to ask about storing my goods the gentleman who helped me was very nice and professional. Im pretty sure it was landon. But the customer service was amazing and i cant wait on doing business with this company soon.

Had a terrible experience at this location, was told by the district manager that the issue would be taken care of in two weeks time. We are at a month now and no update.

Was great at first then rates started jumping. Rented a space for a year and it went up almost 25%. But the really disgusting part is they called me a week or so before I moved out and told me my lock was missing?!?! Side note: they had called the day before but I did not pick up because I didn't recognize the number and they didn't leave a message. Even though there was no lock on the unit! I asked them if there were other locks missing and if it was a break-in. She stumbled on her words and said yes there were other locks missing. So then I inquire about cameras and security because that's what I paid for and was informed there was none! An expensive TV was missing and I was told I would need to file a police report. Be warned before putting your valuables in public storage. You might as well leave them on the street corner. Absolutely terrible customer service!!

Man I came here to get me some them boxes and not only did I leave with some them boxes I left with a friend. Blake the employee on duty was a gentleman and a scholar. He sure do know a thing or two about them boxes I tell ya what. You are one silly goose if you don’t get boxes from Boxman Blake at this public storage I tell ya what.

Very tricky to get to - you have to exit on the far side of the street and U-turn across a bridge over the highway. Decent folk, though. Called me in minutes when I forgot to lock up. Initially gave 4 stars for decent service but difficulty to access. Was contacted and asked for 5 stars since the difficulty was not due to employees. Tonight I went to get something out of the unit and the door jammed open. I tried to call several numbers, all of which went back to the same dead-end menu which would only let me leave a message. I finally located the chat on the website which let me talk to a live person. See the attached photo. I was bluntly told that after hours, there is no one to call, no matter what the emergency. I doubt that, but if the contact doesn't know how to reach them, the effect is the same. I had to completely empty my storage unit alone in the dark at night, hauling carloads of boxes to an alternate location. Caveat emptor. Update - they are very proactive about calling when a review isn't five stars. I have been assured the night number will be posted where you can see it from inside the compound, and there will be some attempt at training for the website personnel.

Came in today to rent a unit needed one quickly thanks to linden i was able to rent a unit and get everything packed quickly. Would recommend public storage customer service was great even when i had a bunch of questions.

Is there an electric outlet in the individual units?

No A/C inside building where locker is located. Very hot, especially after making a few trips back and forth to and from the car. Two rather good size bumps that I had to get over with a dolly by the entrance of main door. No doorstops on bottom of door to hold open. Would be nice if lock was included with rental. Dan was nice enough to reach out to me concerning the issues stated in previous post. He explained that he would attend to two of the three issues I had. Thank you, you are a lot more attentive than the lady at the front desk.

Dan is very kind, but pays for his positive reviews. Sarah is horrible. A snotty nasty hoosier who lives upstairs and has a very rude and ugly personality. If she speaks to you in a degrading way, remind her that her boss has to pay people to make her look good. Other facilities know of her and talk about it all the time.

Terrible management. Terrible workers. I have been here for over a year now. They have not only raised my rent 3 times and apparently going to raise it again here in a month or so but after restricting access of my very abusive ex who not only has regular access to my unit he fractured my back at this location 3 months ago and they proceeded to let him not only get a unit at this location where I lease from but they let him pay off the last over due amount to my unit and let him have access to my unit when he is not on any of my paperwork as well as changing my gate code. He has stolen so much of my things because of these negligent and untrustworthy staff. I inquired why he had access to my unit and one of the shift managers proceeded to say how I bring him here and bla bla bla. I said to begin he drops me off. Two thats my prerogative who "I" let accompany "ME". "You are to do your job and abide by rules and regulations set forth by the company. That is to Not allow access to anyone who is not on the list or leasing agreement and told not to let him multiple times. I have had to change my lock at least a dozen times because he not only sneaks over the fence at night through joining yards of neighbors that he knows well but knows how to pick locks and has a friend who does for a living. I have religiously taken pictures and have many witnesses to the depletion of my storage unit and my things continually being removed. Now that he has access whenever he wants he can go in on his own accord like he is going to his unit and taking my things. I am so beside myself. But as soon as I can get thia months bill paid, because leaving this narcissistic sociopath has been nothing pleasant or easy and still deal with his relentless motivation to make my life as hard and miserable as he can destroying anything that means anything to me and with a cynical disregard for any other human life. These things I speak of are put lightly compared to the constant state of fight or flight I was put in and lived 24/7 for a year and a half. I am to the point I will have to go into a program to be free of him constantly in the shadows. This company as enabled a psycho path in the harassment, breaking in entry, unlawful access to my unit and my things I possess in my unit being stolen right in front of their eyes. Sarah being the full time office administration sees who comes in and out all day. Suppose to do regular checks and make sure that the consumers that are renting from this company really arent safe. They also allowed a guy, whom called the office that said he was my whatever relative bro gave wjatever eg info and access he wanted

Put in an online reservation I thought I had selected a climate controlled property when I arrived I found out it was not but Dani was helpful and let me know I had a few options to choose from and helped me get damp checks to keep my items well protected in a regular storage space.

Prices keep going up. Go someplace else.

Lights have been out for a month. Dark and scary when trying to get stuff out and in . They have been told by several clients and still haven't fixed the lights . The manager Dan call and apologize for the outage .as of today November 11th 2019 the power is back on in the units and it is safe to say that we can go inside without having to worry about being mugged or shot in the dark or trying to find what we need in the dark. to the management of Public Storage unit I thank you very kindly for taking it to heart for the safety of your patrons and thank you Sarah for bringing this to their attention as well you've had a hard way to go with getting yelled at from a lot of people and we truly truly thank you for your efforts to make this right.

All of the people here are super and supportive of each other. They try to give the best deals possible. I always feel my items are safe with these employees. My items have always been clean and dry in this facility! Dan and Sara are FANTASTIC!

I am in the process of relocating for a job. Every company I have had to deal with in this process (movers, truck rentals, temp housing, etc.} has given me some sort of grief with their service. I mean I have never dealt with more incompetent businesses in my life. I expected the same thing when I found a storage place for some of my items. Not the case. From the initial phone call to their main line customer service to the onsite meeting with Kayla the manager. Kayla was so helpful with the process from start to finish, I was dumbfounded because my expectations were so low because of everything else, it was sooooo refreshing to have something go right for a change. Kayla, thanks again for such outstanding service. You put a very bright spot in my otherwise dreadful moving experience. :}

Storing your stuff made easy. I went to the Gravois location to check into a storage unit. I was very happy to hear they had some units available. Even had some options on the size of the units to look at. Yes I said look at. Tiffany was so polite and helpful. She showed me the unit before we started setting anything up. Very clean and found the perfect size for me. Would definitely recommend this public storage to anyone looking for storing your stuff.

Ehh. You think the cost is good till they tell you that you must use a circle lock, or they will sell you one, and you need to get inurance. Basically doubling the cost. Facility is clean. Dont use Public Storage!

I was very pleased with the service Kayla provided. I highly recommend public storage on gravois it’s one of the best locations.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Beware though, the public storage corporate office will lure you in with a low rate and then start to increase it slowly within 6 months. The security gate breaks here at least once a month and when it does the gate is left open all night until it gets fixed. The location isn't especially easy to get to because the driveway doesn't allow entering from the east.

Polite , clean. Could use routine care on bay doors. To ensure that weather stripping is fully functional (ie: zero cracking, missing, or severe damages to it) same for gutters spouts that are fastened near bay doors. And the price is about $50.00 to high just for a 10×10 outdoors without controlled air . ($150.00 a month) near Affton, MO.

My fiance had a unit here that we couldn't pay on. Before it went up for auction we tried everything possible to get her amd her kids pictures and even birth certificates and social security cards out, and we weren't allowed. She called over amd over again for months and was told the person who bought it was going to return that stuff and we never got 1 single item back. It specifically states on their site that stuff like that they will make sure is given back and yet here she is crying daily cause she never got any of it back. This is the worst place to rent a unit from specially if you end up losing everything your kids have ever had of their childhood.

Kayla and Nicole who run this branch made the process of storing my Rv a lot easier than I imagined. They were happy to answer my many questions and always called me with relevant information when they said they would. The storage facilities are Well-maintained and the many security measures gave me peace of mind.

Today was my first time being at a public storage and the service I received from Nichole was fantastic. After figuring out I reserved the wrong type of storage space she helped me find one that was big enough and within my price range. I give Nichole 5 stars

A manager at this location called the local police station on August 5th, 2017, because he heard "childlike" noises coming from my unit or the unit next to mine. I am a complete advocate of children, and was not upset that police were called to the scene, as if there was a child in ANY unit, I would want that child saved. HOWEVER, no child was found on the property, police rummaged through my unit, or so it was noted, and things were damaged and put back like a tornado had attacked my belongings. When I arrived to my unit on Saturday, August 18th, 2017, I was shocked to see a different lock - there were stickers on it and my key would not work. When management showed up to work at 930 AM, I immediately reported that I could not get into my unit. Upon further investigation (looking at what little notes were taken), the current manager, Nichole, told me what had happened on the 5th of August. NO ONE alerted me for almost 3 weeks? I was floored and am completely dissatisfied with how this was handled. She gave me the number of the district manager, Dan Frohock, and I have been calling him with no answer and no return of phone call. I have called back to this location and the assistant there "reassures" me he will call me back. I called customer service this afternoon and Jonathon told me to continue calling. Are you kidding me? He then gave me the number of the regional manager...who ended up being the regional manager of Dallas! This is absolutely ridiculous and I am outraged at the poor, failing, unresponsive, and incredibly disrespectful service I have received. Just now, I have called again to speak with the manager of the location, the assistant, Kayla, once again answered the phone. She told me that I had JUST missed the district manager, Dan Frohock. She said that if I would have called 20 minutes before, I would have reached him. I told her I DID call at least 5 times. She said that the phone was probably on MUTE. WHY WOULD A service-oriented company who on their website guarantees 100% customer satisfaction have their office phone on MUTE during business hours?

I currently rent here, and I think it's the best place now that rashedi is gone. The one girl Kayla has great customer service. And helped me get into the unit i needed because I was currently in one too small. I noticed this place is a lot cleaner and we'll kept up. I recommend this to anyone who needs a storage unit.

I am very pleased to be a long time and very satisfied renter from the Public Storage site located at 9722 Gravois Road in Affton, MO (St. Louis County). Over the more than a decade and one-half that I have been a tenant at this professionally managed, exceptionally maintained and extremely secure storage facility, I have always found the staff to be extremely professional and very attentive to my needs..., in fact, I have always found the staff, including both Rita and Sharon, always willing to make the extra effort and even go the extra mile..., if necessary, to respond to and address any concerns that I may have. To find this type of highly professional, responsive and very effective management, is indeed, very refreshing. I would highly recommend this Public Storage facility to anyone desiring a truly first-class, professional, well-maintained and secure storage facility.

Shannon was amazing. I have had a storage locker there for 5 years now and today she offered me a cheap storage locker that was the same size. I am so happy that I don't have to pay so much for my storage locker now. The place is clean, the people are nice, and the property is gated to keep people out that don't have the codes to get it.

Exactly what I was looking for at a fair price. Sarah was extremely helpful. I needed a covered storage space for my "toy" BMW Z3. I live in the city and had been parking the car on the street. Some really nice person knifed my rear window, so I decided I needed to park it somewhere safe and secure at a reasonable price, close to home. I found what I was looking for with Public Storage.

So far so good had no trouble reserving although make sure you are vigilant in checking the prices do change. Rita checked me in and got me moving was very wonderful and polite like I said overall very good so far I would recommend them.

Our experience started great in a smaller unit. We moved to a bigger unit and the experience went downhill. From poor maintenance to water damage from leaks and the insurance didn't cover even 1/3 the cost of repairs, we started to hate this location. I couldn't believe how careless the management seemed to be. But that all changed with Sarah. She went above and beyond to listen and take care of us. Sarah's excellent communication and listening skills are a huge asset to your company. She worked with us to coordinate with her DM to get us into a new unit. The day we moved was the hottest day of the year! Sarah went above and beyond to provide me with ice cold water. She has made us feel valued. When our flooring business grows, I'll be looking to steal her from you! I'd definitely recommend this location.

In the beginning I had a good experience. However, at the end I never been so rudely treated by a company. Two employees were just flat out rude. They made a mistake that they kept on blaming on me. When you vacate make sure they print off a paper for you. Someone placed their lock on my empty unit and I was charged after I vacated the unit. The people working would never listen and they would allow me to cut the lock even though it was not my lock. Thank god for their headquarters. At least when I called the 1-800 number I was treated with respect and we worked together to resolve the problem. I would still go somewhere else. Maybe other public storage businesses are better run.

It's a little complicated in how to get to the spot off of Gravois since you have to use the overpass but now that I know, it should be easier.

We had a choice between two storage places right across the street from one another.l We are so glad we chose Public Storage. The unit and hallways were clean. The staff was wonderful, especially Rita. On the few occasions over the years when I would forget a payment Rita was always so nice in her phone message to remind me. I would still have to unit, but as a federal employee who has been furloughed due to Congress' inaction I needed to cut back to critical expenses.
