Set up renting Unit 3-51 online to start on June 11th. When I showed up on the 11th, the unit had already been broken into. Someone from another unit had broken into the attic space to cross horizontally to get above other units where they can kick out the drywall ceiling and climb down.
The Manager, Christine, saw the problem then offered all of my money back when she couldn't find another comparable unit available for rent. As of today, 11/9/2025 I still have not received any of my money back. I've spoken with Christine a couple times since then and she says she's trying hard to remind the responsible parties and if that's true then I can only assume that the responsible party is more comfortable with keeping my money.
Edit: Received a courteous and professional phone call on 11/10/2025 from the district manager with a promise that a check was in the mail. I was told that a check had previously been sent and that it hasn't been cashed so it must have gotten lost in the mail. I was asked if could edit my review and I told them I would after I received my money. A second phone call later that day from the district manager with the news that my refund money was being transferred straight to my account. It has since showed up in my account. I don't mind upping the stars, but they're not going to get 5 stars after having to wait that long. If I'm expected to pay right away, then I'd expect them to have the same response.

I booked a unit via the online storage rental on May 11, 2025. After going to see the unit in person, I determined it would unfortunately not fit my needs. I immediately went on the PS app and “scheduled a move out”, spoke with a live rep, and I was refunded my initial “move-in” fees and such. Live rep tells me that unit is no longer in my name, and not to worry about anything further. I was also removed from that unit on the PS app, and no longer had access to the gates or facility at all. Okay cool, all is good…
On June 2nd, I was billed the monthly amount for the old unit, and I seemingly have access to it again on the PS app after redownloading it to investigate. I never even occupied the unit for 30 seconds… I simply lifted the door and realized it was a bit too small, and closed the door and left. Why am I being billed when I already got a move-out confirmation and refund?
I try and try and try to call to get to a live human, and it’s always voicemail or navigating through automated menus to endless dial tones and/or dead ends. Since I can’t get to anyone, my only other real option is to completely cancel my card and get another one. Completely stupid and makes 0 sense, but whatever lol

Public Storage met my last minute storage needs, very accommodating. I called a random day cleaning out my brother's house after him passing. I was able to get a unit that day and move in that same day. They are concerning, even reached out to make sure everything went smoothly. The directions were easy to follow also. We had no problems and they made it stressless and I greatly appreciate that. If you are looking for a storage place, go ahead and book with them!!!
I was robbed by an inseder employee scam , they switched the number plate on my unit with the number plate on a delinquent unit, then had an accomplice bid on my unit that was auctioned off . And continued to charge my credit card after having emptied my unit of its contents. They deserve a -0 rating but that is not an option.

Even though there is not a person in the office, the system they have in place allows you to work with a real person. I had no trouble renting my space nor getting into the complex nor finding my unit. My unit was clean and ready to load up.

Convenient location and the Public Storage app is great, even functions as a gate remote with Bluetooth which I use ALL the time (remembering gate codes can be a pain). The property itself is a little run down and is smaller/narrow (no semi access at all), but it’s always clean and well lit.

At this point I would give this company as a whole a negative star(s) if possible. We went to the kiosk was told a price for a unit. The price came up on the Kiosk as what we were quoted we paid the special amount for that end of the month period and then when we received an invoice it was double that amount. Buyer beware. This company operates under bait and switch practices. I have now been on the phone for over an hour trying to get this resolve and have been told they have the "contract" which is just a push of a button on the kiosk which states I was to pay the inflated rate. I then asked to speak to someone higher up and this person basically yelled at me on the phone. I have been basically called a liar by customer service. I asked to speak to someone else that would be more professional and I was told by Shay that I could hang up and call back. Customer service horrible! Bait and Switch! And some of the units the drywall ceilings are literally falling in on the units!

We have been unable to access our unit, and it is impossible to talk to a person about this. The office is never staffed, all the phone numbers I am given go straight to voicemail, and the online chat promised a call appointment but I was never called. There was a note on our online account that the lock was changed several weeks ago with no explanation and I received no notification. This is the worst customer service experience I have had in years.
I'm not one to write review to be honest - I think they're for the lonely or bored, but I loved the place and especiially the chap running it. As a british native customer service is something you hear about a lot in America, but it's usually completely lacking or none existent.
Donovan or Don as I ended up calling him was an absolute pleasure to deal with, what a legend. - a lot of business's (I'm talking to you american airlines and almost all fast food restaurant staff) could do with a lesson from him. I maintain your skills aren't being put to good use. Get a spot on an open mic, you're hilarious sir. If your manager doesn't promote you soon then he's not using your potential. If you actually read this, then thanks again Don. Hopefully we get to chat again.

The move in was pretty seamless, and every thing was fine till the last month. I had someone parked in my reserved spot for my camper and they had no idea why, the area behind us was littered with trash like some one was sleeping there, and now they double my rate with no reason or notice. I left and found someplace nicer and cheaper than my original rate.
