I rented this place because it was a good price. But, it was not climate controlled even though it's advertised as such.

Great experience at this Public Storage! Kami, the on site property manager is always available and helpful. She saved the day during our chaotic move when we needed a THIRD last minute unit. She expertly helped us navigate the website to find the best deal for our needs. Finally, the site is always tidy and clean. Everything feels very safe and secure. Highly recommend!

This place is a gem! It feels hidden, in a little cove off of Manchester. I ran out of boxes the day before our move. I needed an extra extra large box and a box for the poles for our trampoline. After a few attempts at the big box stores, I began calling moving and storage places. Several places let me know that their inventory was very low and that they did not have large boxes at all. I stumbled by this Public Storage and I was greeted by a very kind woman. In the midst of a very stressful time, it was so nice to experience such great customer service. She took the time to help me to figure out what I needed and she had a great inventory of boxes. I found everything I needed!

Ya know, truth be told, dealing with self storage companies has always been one of my least favorite chores. It's a necessary evil of course, but that doesn't change the fact that on most days I would happily endure a root canal or an overly aggressive proctology exam if it could somehow get me out of my aforementioned storage obligations. But to my absolute shock and delight the manager Kami at Self Storage - Manchester made the process not only easy, but affordable! Having a manager who lives on-site has turned out to be absolutely invaluable. On several occasions, life - as it so often does - threw my family and I a curveball, resulting in our inability to pay on time, but never once were we harassed about our balance. Instead, I was dumbstruck to find they only wanted to find some way to help and work out a mutually beneficial situation. Since Covid, professionalism and customer service like that seemed to be going the way of the dinosaur, so needless to say it was a breath of fresh air. I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone in need.

First, I want to say what sets this property apart is Kami, the property manager. Kami was not only friendly and welcoming, she went above and beyond to ensure we we had everything we needed, responded to calls and requests immediately, and always made us feel like her most important customers. We have had a lot of experience with various storage companies in both MO and FL. This was one of the best experiences I can recall. The property was spotless, safe, and secure. Whenever we were there Kami always dropped by to see if we needed anything and ensure there were no problems. I have never experienced that at any other storage place. She was protective of us and our property and even checked some of our furniture with us to refute one of our movers. I appreciate that she showed genuine interest and concern. As long as Kami is at this location I will use it for my future storage needs and definitely refer anyone I know in the area looking for a self storage facility. Thank you for making one necessity of a long, drawn-out, multi-stage move a little easier for us!

I thought today was going to be an awful day, but thanks to kami, my day turned out better than it started. I had a rent increase that was incredibly high and kami did whatever she could to help me out. She was so understanding and took the extra time to explain to me my options. She walked with me to open units to show me differences in the units so i could visualize how similar or different they were. It was nothing for her l to show me these units and she did this to help me. Kami walked me through the steps I needed to take to file my insurance claim because one of my boxes tipped over. She helped me with everything i asked for and i walked away worry free. Thanks to angels like Kami I can afford this month now. Thank you so much Kami keep being amazing. I have been with this storage location for about two years, I am very happy with the level of customer service, the staff in the office are very knowledgeable, helpful and kind, she worked with me on several occasions to make sure I was getting what I needed and understood the process. She’s a very hard worker as well, I see her around the property making sure things are being taken care of. Thanks a lot Ms K!

I am so taken with the customer service, friendliness, helpfulness, and genuine kindness I receive every single month I go into the office on Barrett Station Road and make my payment. Kami, the office manager, deserves 5 stars! Even though my storage is in another city and has been for approximately 11 years she goes out of her way to make this less painful and tries to help me best she can. Due to being diagnosed with a rare disease and being immunocompromised I am unable to 'visit' my storage and do anything about it...she is very understanding, especially when I get a rate increase that I feel is very unfair since I've been a long time, loyal customer. She's the best employee I've ever come across, hands down. Please make sure you 'reward' her well! She deserves it! Thank you!

I literally have used public storage about 12 times. This is my first time I used Barrett station Rd. I was terrified b the location just seemed like it was going to be another basic experience. I'm not going to go into detail, but I will say, KAMI had made me feel like I'm her favorite customer. She has spoiled me with her calls making sure I am enjoying my storage, making sure things are going well. She always make suggestions when she see a need that I could benefit from. I'm really going through a dark time in my life, being displaced, pregnant, and my kids missing Christmas, all that aside, I was gifted a property mgr who truly just warms my heart and even has offered to help me move my belongings in bc she knows I'm on bedrest ....I found out last night she is a Leo like myself ..now I love her twice as much.

This Public Storage at Barrett Station has a new manager, Kami, and she has made a huge difference. I have been unhappy with Public Storage and the previous managers because you could never get in touch with them. I had a light bulb fixture in my unit, which is on the second floor so it was dark, that didn't work and didn't get fixed for over a year. I also left my extra key at the office so they could have access to my unit so they could fix the light and then they misplaced the key. Kami was very helpful when I went to my storage unit this last time. She made sure all was good in my unit and replaced my lock so that I could have my second key. Thank you Public Storage for bringing in someone who is responsible and dependable.

KAMI WAS FANTASTIC! i had been looking at storage places for a while Kami set me up with exactly what i needed. She is cooler than the other side of your pillow. This place is great for all your storage needs, and in the late night hours they host an awesome naked fight club.

My experience at Public Storage/Barrett Station was amazing! James and Kami went out of their way to make sure things went smoothly during my move and throughout the time I needed their facility for storage. I didn’t plan so well for my belongings and on the day of move I needed another full 10 by 30 unit immediately. James was an angel to me and assisted me through the whole process. Kami, always so kind, checked in on me during my visits to make sure I had what I needed. Thankfully, the staff at this facility cares about their customers. James and Kami made a stressful time so much better by being so helpful! I recommend Public Storage and would use them again!

The location at 2211 barret station road, is my go to location. I've used multiple storage facilities and have always been disappointed with lack of management and cleanliness of the properties. My experience was excellent. Kami and Kadie were very helpful and excellent. they went above and beyond with helping me with my paper work, finding a unit, even setting up my app. They were awesome. It is hard to find great customer service now a days, and they excelled and made my rental easy and pleasant.I would highly recommend Public Storage and give them 5 stars. They even came into the unit and made sure the movers set it up the unit to where I could access my belongings and the lock was on the unit. Kadie and Kami are fantastic and very helpful. They asked questions showed me how to use the app and were so kind and caring to my needs as a customer.

I was alone moving my things out of storage with my 2yo daughter and the manager Kami came by and offered to help me and I was so grateful. She stayed and helped me move all of my big items and advised me on how I should pack out the truck. I was really blown away because that isn’t apart of her job description none whatsoever and she really went above and beyond her customer service duties. She said she understood because she’s had to move a couple of times alone before, but her compassion and selflessness was just beautiful and I really appreciate what she did for me and my daughter. I loved the storage facility and it was clean and I felt safe being there(even after dark), but the highlight was definitely Kami. Thank you again and I’m so grateful that you chose to help me that day, I don’t think I could’ve gotten it done without you. My experience with public storage definitely ended on the best note.

Kami S at Barrett Station road was incredibly helpful today, suggesting some storage solutions that had saved me money greatly. When I got there, Kami (mgr) was quick to help me navigate the facility, access the app, and walk me through everything. She walked me to my unit which needed to be cleaned up a little. She immediately got it in stellar shape and then offered to help me protective flooring and plastic wraps to put over my furniture. She knew I had another load to bring back and had a pull cart waiting for me to use which made my life way easier. Kami really takes pride in her work and making the customer happy. I am very impressive with the technology (app to open the gate and doors) and especially the customer centricity of Kami.

They have both inside and outside units that are Easily accessible and unlike most other facilities, the carts to move things in and out are always centrally located and not randomly spread out where they're hard to find. 6 stars

There is nothing I despise more than high-pressure tactics, hidden fees or misleading advertisement. Yet all that was present during my rental. I had reserved (but not paid) online. I confirmed the price onsite. Yet when I'm ready to hand over my credit card, the amount is almost $60 over the reservation price. When I enquire about discrepancy, the discussion turns sour - like I'm the offender. There is 'mandatory' monthly insurance fee. Yes, I was told twice that is mandatory. Only when I grabbed my wallet to walk out, I'm informed that the rental can be offered without it. Same thing about the $19.99. locker to be purchased from them. The reservation was for the following day, yet because I paid onsite and online, I was informed that the reservation HAS TO start today, not tomorrow, therefore paying an unused extra day... Still regret not walking away; only kept the rental because I did not have time to shop around on a busy weekend. Update: within 24 hours from posting this review, I have been contacted by this location's owner/manager. It appears that the above situation was generated by a new employee and it does not reflect the values of this business, or of the parent corporation. The apology felt sincere, he said he will talk with her regarding fees and how they are communicated with customers. It made me believe that it is a business that cares about it's image and customers - I updated the star rating to reflect that.

After coming in not knowing what I really needed, Katie helped me and explained throughly what I needed. She didn’t try to oversell me anything I didn’t need. Nice little place to store things, they make it pretty convenient for moving your thing to and from the actual unit.

Today I bought a delinquent storage unit from them. I drove an hour to get there. Upon arrival I was told that there was a computer problem and they were trying to get it fixed. After awhile I called District Manager Dan Frohock and he too stated they were working on it and it should be shortly. After two hours of waiting I called Dan Frohock again and told him I was frustrated after waiting two hours. He was very disrespectful by stating "then just leave!". I had already had three hours invested into this and paid the $120.00 auction fee. So I could not communicate with Dan Frohock. I had to wait there for FOUR HOURS before I got to get into my storage unit. The young lady BRITTNEY was very apologetic and did all she could. She actually had to drive to another facility to print stuff out because this facility has had a broken printer for several days. I got no copy of any of my paperwork. This facility ruined my whole day and the person who was helping me.

They have raised my monthly rent twice in the year that I have been renting a unit. Started at $67, which was then raised to $78 six months later, and has now been raised to $90.

I rented a unit with Mallorie the other day, she is very knowledgeable with the products and services she sell. I asked alot of questions and she was quick to answer!

I just unloaded boxes into my very first storage unit. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. The onsite manager, Mallory, was absolutely wonderful!

I called today, inquiring about storing stuff for my cousin who lives in Missouri and spoke to Cindy..... she was super helpful and very friendly.

I was very nervous to leave my items in a storage unit, but Cindy assured me that they would be safe. She is very kind and outgoing. Great customer service.

Pathetic, do not rent a storage in the office side of the facility, they say climate control and have a sheet tied to the roof with stuffings. Where every species lives. I rented a room In the corner, had my belongings for 15 days, while taking my things out, I had to clean dead and decayed birds. Bob helped me with cleaning materials, But pretending like he didn't know anything before, and he says he is new to the facility. He is the one who rented me. He did not take responsibility or did not clean, they didn't even waive any portion of the rent. Be careful while saying yes to the storage they show, we have to pick and choose, main building seems ok with metal roof.

I Went looking for a unite for my furniture. A guy by the name Justyn took care of me and made sure I got the right size unit and the bang for my buck. Definitely a great staff and recommended to anyone needing a safe place to store their belongings

Excellent. Felt secure. Jake was extremely polite to me the entire time. My mother will be storing here for 3 or 4 months and the location could not be closer or more convenient. I particularly like the fact that they have an elevator. Would recommend to anyone.

Brian and the rest of the staff at this location are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the facility as well as the surrounding areas. The facility is clean, well lit and monitored. I was concerned about bugs and other living critters and have not seen any evidence in the area or in my unit. I have used this facility for 6 months and am pleased with the service that is provided, considering it is not climate controlled.

Spoke with Brian on the phone after reserving unit online. Called him the following morning and set up time to come by in the afternoon to sign lease. Whole process took just 30 minutes from touring facility to getting the keys. Couldn't have been easier! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for storage in West County.

After looking into several storage locations around the area, I found that Public Storage was the best value for the money. The facility is clean, gated and well lit. In addition, working with Marie was a great experience. She was VERY helpful and patient. She answered all of my questions and made excellent recommendations to help me move my things.
