Do not store items that are irreplaceable or have sentimental value here. Very bad value. Pricing on unit almost quadrupled in two years. Huge leak soaked the bottom of furniture and some boxes; thankfully items were not damaged. The facility made a repair and we moved items into bins and moved delicate items off the floor level. The facility offered no compensation for the stress or time spent moving things to make space for the repair, etc. We went in to move out today to find that there had been severe leaking again, with water flooding a plastic bin at the top of a stack from a leak in the ceiling. There were items of sentimental value that were ruined, sitting in standing water in the bin. The staff were totally unfriendly, said it had nothing to do with them, and handed us the phone number for the insurance company on a sticky note.
Jessica and Scott were extremely helpful getting us signed up and settled into our storage unit. I would highly recommend Public storage in Wheaton

Had a good experience with reserving a space and working with the staff to rent/secure it.
■Parking is rough at first, because it's only a few spots on the street. Once you're a customer you can open the gate and park inside.
■Staff handles their work expertly and politely.
■First month of insurance was covered.
■They have an auto-pay option.
■Each unit you rent you get a bolt cutter "proof" lock. (These are good)
■There are three (3) orange carts for you to use.
■Closeout was a breeze. Just clean up and remove your lock!
If I need space again, I'll go here and see what they have first before anywhere else.

Wheaton Public Storage has always been a very friendly and helpful storage unit. Samantha has been especially helpful and kind. The storage unit has been especially clean and I can see how hard it must be to maintain the building and still provide excellent customer service, but somehow she accomplishes it! Came in today to empty my storage unit and ending up having a very long day. Thankfully the GM Sam was there and was nothing but helpful and polite. One of the best experiences with management I've ever had at a storage unit. Polite, courteous, and above all extremely professional. Will recommend this store to friends and family only because of her.
Nason, the Traveling Manager, was warm, welcoming, patient and professional! He got me squared away in no time at all. The facility is temperature controlled, very clean, brightly lit and secure. Everything you could want in a Public Storage facility!

Supposed to be open until 6 but the doors locked and you can't even get in to look at a unit or get anybody to help you. Only self-service. No customer service left anymore

This place is clean, the staff members are very friendly and very helpful. And it's in a decent area. Prices are reasonable, no seinor discounts but, they are mindful of active veterans. They will answer all your questions big or small.these people will bend over backwards to help.

Recently toured the property, looking for a facility closer to my new home. It was really well kept, the cleanest facility I have visited so far. I had an awful experience with my storage unit in Houston recently so I was really happy to see the major difference between the two! Property manager Megan is amazing, she was super helpful and informative!

Megan, the manager here ( or one of them) is AMAZING. She kept up great communication with me along my way on setting up my storage locker, securing it and letting me know the process. This was my first time getting a storage unit and it could not have been easier! I used a large garage-like space on the first floor of this storage facility. The staff was always very friendly and helpful and we were very pleased with the cleanliness and ease of access to this location. It never felt overcrowded either which is valuable in a move.

Sure it's clean, well lighted, easily accessible. But, the star of the show at the Wheaton Public Storage is the Property Manager-Megan-who made the process effortless, warm and welcoming. This is my first storage experience.
I had a great experience using Public Storage. Finding and reserving the unit online was easy. The manager, Megan, was a delight. She was both friendly and helpful with getting me set up with my space, access, etc. and was great at answering any question I had. In just the few interactions I had with her, she made my time using the facility that much better.
