I use this storage facility to store additional inventory for my small business Hank’s Cane & Rush Restoration! The cost had gone up to the point I couldn’t justify keeping the unit and I was going to vacate. Christine helped me transfer to a smaller unit that met my needs and save $100 per month! Christine the General Manager is great! She made our experience over the past six years the reason for this because she was focused on us being happy and content by renting from Public storage. For instance Christine is knowledgeable, adaptable, helpful and empathetic.

If you need storage in the Aurora/Naperville area, you have to visit this location and talk to Christine! She is a fantastic host and treats all of her customers with respect. Christine is also accommodating to her guests. I needed after hours access to the storage and Christine was quick to grant me access with no issues. She also allowed us to park our truck overnight as a courtesy. Make sure to talk to Christine on your next visit to this location! Absolutely 5 star service!!

We have used Public Storage facilities throughout the years. When it came time to move and needed a storage facility I rented a space at this location. From the moment I made a reservation, Christine reached out and helped us with the details. Our situation was unique in the sense that we needed to unload a 28’ Upack container at the storage facility. Christine helped us every step of the way, we were able to drop off the container inside the facility in order for us to unload it. I would highly recommend this facility and Christine, she is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Christine went above and beyond to make our moving experience less stressful.

The property manager, Christine, was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire rental process in October 2021. She was candid with all of my questions and inquiries. I was pleased how she went above and beyond with addressing all inquiries and concerns. I initially selected a storage space not large enough for my business needs and Christine made it seamless transferring to a larger unit. I did inform her about an unpleasant experience from a previous rental space with a Public Storage in DuPage County. However, this time I feel there will be no issues or concerns, especially after the exceptional customer service experience I had with Christine!

She was able to quickly transfer my storage from one location to another that is closer and provide me with a unit that fits my needs. In addition, I had issues reserving a storage unit on-line for which she helped on a few calls because of questions regarding the process and online navigation challenges. I would highly recommend others to use this location because her her excellent customer service good management skills.

I called to let the manager know I would be running late but I would be there 2 minutes after their closing time, I already picked out a spot and just needed to do the paperwork. She said it was okay and she would be there waiting for me. As soon as I pulled up, she was in her car, looked at me and drove away...That was probably the rudest situation I’ve ever been in. Had to pay for another day for the moving truck and find a place to park it overnight. So I ended up finding a new place to rent storage from. This place was too small anyways. If you say you’ll wait, please wait. If you won’t and need to reschedule let me know. Instead you just left me completely hanging after I said I had an hour drive from my old place. You said you understood and would wait...I don’t understand people I guess.

Very unprofessional lady at this facility. I just stood there during working hours waiting to use the bathroom while the manager had a sign posted on the door will be back at 11:54 am and she just sat her lazy behind in her car watching me just stand there while she sat in her car. Where do they find these people anyhow?

Great Customer Service by Julie at this Public Storage. She was very helpful in assisting with our business account at this location.

I have been a customer of this Public Storage location for 7 years. I had 24hr access due to my small business needs that occasionally fall outside of office hours. Earlier this year when trying to enter after-hours for a job, I was denied access. I tried multiple times. I called the manager from the parking lot with no answer. I left a message which was never returned. This weekend I had another job and found a pile of snow and ice in front of my storage unit. The manager was out, and office locked. I had to clear the snow myself. Again today I called and left a message. It was returned this time. The manager blamed the snow pile on their snow removal vendor. Upon asking about my 24 hour access revocation without notice, the manage said I never had it. Public Storage took no responsibility. You might think they would value a long-term customer who tolerates their annual ~10% cost increases each year. Sadly no. If you are a business, I would strongly discourage you from considering Public Storage. It is not worth the risk to your business.

BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY!!!!!!!!! At the end of October, I made a reservation online for a 10’x10’ indoor climate control, first floor unit with first month rent being $1, following months being $75/mo. I received an email with my confirmation number, price guarantees, and the Unit promised to me that same evening. The next morning, I got a phone call from the front desk confirming with me that I was, in fact, moving in on the day I had reserved o...nline. Saturday, October 27th, I arrived at Public Storage, with the moving truck I rented (and was on a time limit) and a few kind friends helping me (who were also on a time limit). I brought my confirmation email and showed the guy at the front Matt or Mike or something, and he said he did not have a unit available at that price. Are. You. Kidding. Me?! He kept trying to tell me that he could give me a different unit at that price, or the unit I want at $100. I said, I️ have a confirmation from this location promising me this unit at this price, that’s what I want, so make it happen. He kept trying to say there was nothing he could do, no one he could call, blah blah blah. Imagine my frustration at this point. Thankfully, my mom calmly reasoned with him and we came to the agreement that he would get it all figured out for us the following Monday as long as we just paid the move in fee today. He also promised that he would refund part of the fee we paid because it was based on the $100 rent instead of the $75 rent I was promised. Fast forward to Monday/Tuesday, front desk guy calls to let me know they are trying to get it figured out, manager lady calls to let me know they are trying to figure it out and it will be taken care of no later than November 2nd. She also said that she wants me to take my credit card off file so that I am not accidentally charged even more while they get it figured out. Fast forward to NOVEMBER 12. I receive an email now saying that my unit is locked until I️ pay $117............ So, not only have they NOT gotten a very simple issue resolved, but they have now created a bigger issue by locking me out of my storage unit and demanding me to pay money THAT I DO NOT OWE!!!!!!! ***Side Note: I also want to add that when I️ was finishing putting things into my unit on October 30, I ran in to an elderly woman moving things out of her unit. I asked her if she was moving out or in, She said “out, because they are trying to raise my rent $25/month even though I have a contract guaranteeing $75/month until I️ move out.” Sound familiar? So clearly, I️ am not the only person they are trying to screw over here!! VERY SHADY way to do business!!!! My fight with them is not over! See more

They will charge you even if you are right and even when you talk to head managers in TX, they lie and say they will handle it and don’t. Then u get calls from a collector thanks to their total unprofessionalism and how they think they can talk to women!! Just don’t. Many other nicer people To do business with. Make Mike an regional manager. He seems to be the only one who cares. What a major waste! Fake promotion. Horrible lead managers.

The manager who oversees the location is great. Upper management lies and charges. Won’t listen. Horrible customer service. Charged for unit even tho it was empty. Sticks it to you without discussing in professional manner. All upper management should be replaced. Don’t get ripped off!! Charged and scammed!! And lied to by Too management who said they would fix it and forgot it now collection calls over a minor incident that has escalated bc management don’t do their job. Go elsewhere. Not public storage. They all have same rip off artists in charge.

I am not happy with Public Storage first of all they they go up on your rent every other 6 months they make you pay for your rent even if you're not even in the storage they still said that I owe storage before the rent was due and they told me that they was going to send me over to collections if I didn't make a payment on my storage not going back

Mike has been wonderful to work with the last few weeks. He is knowledgeable and very personable. To be honest, I called a few different facilities. I read about Mike and how much people raved about him. He was wonderful! That helped me decide on this location.

I made an appointment to see the storage space so I could size it up against what I needed to store. We has made an appointment to be rhwryat 4pm and were there on time. The person in the office was Leticia. Sheveas an extremely unpleasant individual. She never said so much as say hello and a smile was completely out of the question. When we went to see the storage unit she walked waay far ahead of us never bothering to see if we were keeping pace with her. On our way out she again walked far out ahead of us, unlocked the gate and said "you can leave from here" and went back in the office, never thanking us or say goodbye. Needless to say she was extremely rude and arrogant. Trust me, I will not be using yoor company even if you gave me the space for free. With so many competitors out there, there is no need for me to reward such insulting treatment. At least I now know what a 10 x 10 looks like and know that I will simply ned to rent a larger space with Uhaul storage less than a mile down the street from you. Thanks!

I am not happy with Public Storage and will not be referring anyone to them. However, I promised Debbi from this location that I would give her a 5 star review. She is very knowledgeable, respectful, and truly kind. Public Storage is lucky to have her along with Mike (who orignally activated the lease for my storage unit). I have been with Public Storage for well over a year. However, I recently had a HORRIBLE experience with Jessica the customer service rep out of California. She was very rude and quite disrespectful. I ended up leaving a message for a supervisor to call me back but never received a response. I eventually called and left a message for the district manager and still never received a response. I told Debbi that I have never had a problem with PS before but the way I was treated and the fact that customers can't count on managers to call them back is absolutely ridiculous. Therefore, while I am happy to have dealt with Debbi I will NOT be suggesting to anyone I know to deal with Public Storage!

Price online was not honored even though I received a confirmation email. I even read the fine print. Unit was advertised as climate controlled. It's not. They want to charge a compulsory $11 a month minimum insurance on top of the quoted price for a $36 5x10 unit. You also HAVE to purchase their lock and pay a moving in admin fee. It adds up quickly. There are much better deals out there.

This location is more expensive than others close to my house, but the service provided was top notch 👍🏻I will be storing for a short period of time, but the location is easily accessible and looks very secure.

The price we were quoted online was not honored. This led to a very long day as we had already rented a truck. Also, their terms of service include the ability to raise rates at any time, as long as there is 30 days notice. Expect a $10 per month increase in price every 4 to 6 months.

The facilities are clean and the temps for climate controlled units are always up to par.

Good experience until I moved out. When I opened my unit, they repainted the door and I had orange paint flakes all over my things in the front. I did not have any issue with bugs or rodents, it was clean and sanitary. When I cleared out my locker on a Sunday, there was no one in the building since it was closed and no way for me to formally check out. I moved that following morning and explained this to the gentleman I spoke with the next day. I was provided keys to the lock when I rented the space and the employee advised me keep one on staff there in case something happened and I lost mine. Remembering this, I explained that I moved and since they were closed at the time I was moving to keep the lock and please do with it as you wish, and that I would like a receipt emailed to me since I can no longer pick it up being out of state. I was told this was okay, and then was charged a week later for an additional month. They told me that they did not talk to me about this, and that it was not their normal policy (even though I have the phone record that the call very much happened). The male employee who I spoke with was very short and unhelpful. I am waiting to hear back from the district manager Ryan to see if they make this right, or I will file a complaint with the BBB. All in all, it was a good experience until you won't be a customer anymore, then they could care less about helping you.

Check in was fast! Mike and Ryan were very helpful and I had pleasant experience acquiring a second storage rental space. The property is clean and well maintained. I recommend this location if you are looking to store your belongings.

We've been very happy with the service we receive at this Public Storage location. Every person we've worked with has been so friendly and they all seem to really care about their customers, which is difficult to find these days! Today (a Saturday) our door came off the tracks making it very hard to open and dangerous to load things into the unit because the heavy metal door would just slam shut. We figured we wouldn't be able to get in to the unit again until at least Monday. They were able to arrange for someone to repair it within hours and even gave me a courtesy call to let me know it was fixed. What service! Glad to know they have our backs when something goes wrong :)

Gotta say that manager Mike is the man! Came in to pay for my unit and he had several people in to rent and had a hurt foot and was using a cane but it wasn't slowing him down!

Ashlee has helped me twice now with my two units and she was extremely professional and courteous. Both times I was in and out quickly, with every detail covered and all questions answered. Thank you for your great customer service!

I went in to the store to buy some boxes and I was helped by a super nice guy named Mike. He helped me get exactly what I needed.

Went in on my day off because I had a question about my account and Mike was extremely helpful! He explained everything to me so I fully understood. He also was helpful getting me boxes the right size for mailing my Christmas presents! Will definitely reccomend this facility!

I stopped by this week to make a payment for my mother in law and spoke with Ashlee about renting a space for my wife and I. My wife has quite a few collectibles we'd like to get out of our spare bedroom for extra space in our house and she needs something climate controlled to preserve the value of those items. Ashlee was able to answer all my questions about the climate controlled units and whether or not my home owners insurance would cover the contents of what we stored. She was extremely knowledgeable and I'll be back this week to rent a space!

I had a very pleasant experience with this particular location. I had the opportunity of meeting a very polished and professional employee (Amber) who had excellent customer service skills. She was very thorough when explaining the contract and process. What was most pleasing was Ambers warm personality and constant smile. She took me on a tour to view the facility and smiled the entire time. After the tour, she quickly transitioned to the business of completing the paperwork. I had been using another company's storage facility for over a year and realized I needed a larger unit. I was surprised to hear the much higher pricing so I started checking around and found Public Storage. On the phone they were very helpful and able to give me a great price on a unit. When I arrived at the location in Naperville, I realized I had misunderstood what type of unit it was. The people there were able to find another one of their locations with the type of unit I was looking for. It took me only a few minutes to get to their other location and the employee, Amber, was there waiting to help me. She was friendly and well informed on what I needed. Right away she showed me to the storage I had hoped for. Within a few minutes I had the papers all signed and finished the process of obtaining the unit. Amber was very patient with me as far as making sure I understood how the lock worked, how to enter in the code to gain entry and what their hours are. I also felt she went above and beyond when I had returned a few hours later and saw that she had spread extra salt down in front of my unit for my safety. Great job!

Great customer service they go out if their way to be friendly and help however they can

check in was quick and easy. everything was explained thoroughly. it was explained that it is a high security property so the lock was different from what i was use to and the code a bit longer but it made everything seem more safe. Mike at the front desk was great!
