Amanda was super helpful, professional, and general pleasure to work with! Helped me get a 10x15 which fit my needs perfectly!

Awesome customer service! I accidentally rented a regular unit, instead of a climate controled unit online. The property manager Dan was extremely helpful in getting everything sorted out, and getting me into the right unit comfortably.

AMANDA is the worst person that I had to deal with. In the middle of the contract, they raised the storage fee and tell me it was due to market rate. I was behind on payments due to lack of work to Health problems. The amount was $443 and change. She put a lien on the storage for auction. I called her 2 days before to see if she would work with me. I would have had the money a week later. She told me no and that if I did not come up with the money by 9:30 am on 10/22/23 it would be sold which I made my peace with the lost. 1day later, I get an email from public storage see attachment. You sold at least $1,500 worth of Items for nothing and expect me to pay more than I owed, because you were not willing to work with me. Now I am told that is is going to collection!!! AMANDA, YOU ARE EVIL. I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK. WHO DID YOU BID MY THINGS TO? DID YOU BID THEM TO YOUR FRIENDS AND EXPECT ME TO COME UP WITH THE REST? THIS COLLECTION CAN BE YOUR TAX WRITE OFF. This was bad business practice on Amanda and the Public storage in Largo part. NOT A DIME IS COMING OUT OF MY POCKET TO YOUR LARGO LOCATION. YOU PRACTICALLY GAVE AWAY MY ITEMS FOR $30 AND EXPECT ME TO PAY $543 TO MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE!!! UNBELIEVABLE! GOD BLESS YOU! THIS COLLECTION IS NEVER GOING TO SEE MY HARD EARN MONEY IN THIS INFLATED ECONOMY!

I can't explain how amazing the experience was. I just moved all my stuff from over an hour away it took 10 minutes to check in, sign my agreement, get my code, and so nicely walked to my unit and thru the entire process. Made an anxious situation into such a nice experience. I for the life of me can't remember her name but she was an absolute gift! I am very happy with my choice .10/10 recommend

Be Aware: This Public Storage location turns the thermostat up to 80 degrees after the office closes. The hallways and storage units are easily at 85 degrees at night. Also, there is a lack of carts available for customer use, and it seems that management puts the carts that are available away after hours; therefore, there are no carts outside when the office is closed. In my opinion, the customer is not getting what he/she is promised/expecting/paying for.

Great quality and clean facility. The management moves quickly too. I set up online late in the evening and come sunrise my keys were waiting for me. It was as simple as your abc’s

7 years of bad luck!!! The storage shed smells horrible. All of my belongings smell! I left one large item, a mirror, in the unit. Went back the next day to retrieve, and they threw it in the dumpster and shattered it. Clearly, it was left by accident, and they did not have the decency to give me a courtesy call me or at least gently leave it against the dumpster.

My husband and I went in today to rent a unit. Our check in process was a BREEZE. We met with Amanda, who was so kind and knowledgeable. She explained everything in detail, left us with no questions! She helped Set us up for auto pay and…. a cool plus - you can open the gate with the app on your phone here!! She gave us exact directions to our unit which was nice bc most places just send you on your way and to figure things out on your own. Thank you for all your help today Amanda!! ☺️

DO NOT RENT AT THIS STORAGE. I was only 28 days late and kept the office notified as to the reason with my bank fraud and deposits. I continued communication and paid on the 29th. After my payment on the 29th that morning to 0, my lock was drilled off that afternoon. On the 30th, I had to call police for them to remove their lock. Of course, I was angry and violated. Who does this kind of treatment? Now they are harassing further with a payment of July, when I was forced to return in the morning of July 1st, 202 to empty the unit due to a two hour wait for lock removal on the 30th. To Public Storage. I DO NOT have a past due balance. Furthermore, I am obtaining a warrant TODAY for destruction of personal property, harassment, personal distress, and discrimination towards someone with a disability, for the damages to my personal property and your Ill treatment! You are NOT authorized to charge any future fees to my credit card. You drilled off my lock AFTER I made my payment. Due to harassment on 6-30-22, Amanda would not remove her lock, my balance was 0, I had to call police reinforcement to get your overlock off my unit #3235, which took two hours out of my time to get all my belongings and drive out of the city and return. I could not get in the gate after 9pm. Therefore, I had to return in the am to get the last load. I was out off your property at 10:30am. Do not contact me for any reason. My attorney will be in contact with you and YOU ARE to direct any further correspondence through my attorney. BBB, my credit bureaus, my banks, and online media are being notified. Shame on you. I searched online for hours and couldn't find a deal anywhere close to what I found at this Public Storage. And, Amanda was such a pleasure to deal with. Typically, the brand new storage facilities offer the best deals. I've skipped from one to the next for a deal. I had tried one brand new storage facility, and they already had a roach problem. They took care of it, but I made them switch my floor before I'd move in. Then, a facility opened closer to my house, so I moved there. They had good rates, but they kept raising the rent until it quickly doubled. So, I tried renting at a brand new facility that promised easy online registration. But, if I didn't buy their insurance, I needed to call them. They also insisted that you purchase their lock, and they would reimburse you if you brought your own. I'm so glad that I found this Public Storage facility. It was the easiest rental registration ever, and Amanda could not have been more accommodating. There was no pressure to buy insurance or to buy their lock. It may be older than the place I'm moving from, but the elevator is cleaner, and there aren't homeless people using it as their closet. The building is older than some, but you'll love the price and service, after all, it's simply an off-site garage. I give them two thumbs up for price, service and full disclosure of their agreement.

Excellent experience with Julie. She was knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, and in the end got me the best price for a unit. The facility itself is safe and well maintained.

Wow! Combine the customer service of Nordstroms and The Ritz-Carlton at a storage location and SHAZAM…. You have Amanda! I can’t even explain how she was the caretaker and problem solver for major issues with my movers. I couldn’t be there, and I know it’s easy to say “I’ll take care of it!” Because when I called back she had been a strange ninja and superstar and kindly reminded me “I told you I’d take care of you!” What’s amazing is we have never met, yet in a few phone calls she developed a trusting relationship. I’m sure anyone could answer the phone and perform only the menial tasks required, or you can be a superstar like Amanda. I can’t wait to actually meet her. We had things of value and extreme importance in the stuff you all took out of our unit and will not return to us. We was paid up for the month and was not due to pay again until the 7th. We never recieved any notice from anyone stating that you were doing this. We will need to be reimbursed for this. Very unprofessional and disappointing.....

Ria the GM is amazing. I rented a 10x20 unit for double jet ski trailer but when arrived the door was 8’ and my trailer was 8.5. ria was very helpful and worked with corporate to issue a refund. She goes about and beyond whereas other local storage places can’t be bothered to help or answer questions. I recommend this place because of Ria.

I called asking about prices and the two lady's I spoke with Holly and Chelsea they were extremely well spoken and very helpful. I asked alot of questions and they never sounded irritated they were very professional for the entire duration of our phone call and I am very happy with my service. I will recommend this place to anyone interested.

One of the few climate controlled facilities in the area. You use a provided code to enter and exit the property, which provides security for your stored belongings. The building is clean, well lit, and air-conditioned. Carts are provided to assist you with moving your items in and out. It is easy to sign up on line, but I would suggest a phone call first to discuss needs.

Upon moving out, I initially spoke to Eric and then to the manager Celia and they were great, making it an easy transition. Couldn't be happier.

Thank you to this NEW management team!!! The Largo facility is now back in service to the standard that opened this facility!!

I went down the next day to finalize the details and make my first payment. I wanted to let people know I needed a storage unit for my props for a while. Everything was super easy for payments, my belongings remained in take with no signs of pests at all. Celia in the office is super cordial and was extremely helpful anytime I needed anything! I highly recommend Public Storage at the 199 Missouri location. It’s very conveniently located at West Bay and Missouri.

Rental experience was pleasant. 09/21/2019 aprox 1pm upon arrival, second elevator was not working. Office rep said she'd report. Pls see the photos from my visit to the ladies restroom. I'm sure anyone would agree it's totally unacceptable to be completely void of hand soap, towels and tissue. Do any of the Public Storage team members monitor it for cleanliness or supplies? Obviously, not.

This place is fantastic. They answered all of my questions easily and were more than helpful with every need I had. Only been with for a month and so far so good. After submitting the reservation online they called me a few hours later.... 6 times in a row since i didnt pick up while i was working.... A bit excessive if you ask me. They did call me again every single day asking over and over if i was still going to be there the day i said i was like a clingy girlfriend. I also dont exactly like that they pressure you inside to post a 5 star rating saying the place was good. It's very secure and reasonably priced when compared to other place but this is just my experience.

I don't know what I liked better: the selection of units, the condition of the property or the staff. My first impression is that it's clean and large. A big parking lot for a Uhaul. They have a climate controlled building and drive up outside units. I wasn't sure what I needed but Amanda listened to my story and then showed me 2 different size units. Inside and out. I chose an outdoor unit. It's well lit out there and lots of space to drive in. And it was on special for $1! The follow up call from Nick just topped off a great experience. I will recommend this Public Storage to all my friends.

Went to my Storage Unit only to find it is swarming with termites. Oh yeah the insurance I pay for only pays $250 on my $3000 dollar policy because it is a pest issue. Not sure how to get my stuff out to bring home without infesting my home. Guess I will be stuck having to Tent my house to kill all the Termites.. Not Happy.

Bennisha was an great storage expert! She showed my husband and I the unit and helped us pick out merchandise to protect our belongings. She was a very sweet young lady, she brought up to us she may have to put in her two week notice here soon she was very hurt about leaving Public Storage. She is an amazing employee I feel you should work with her for her to keep her position she helps a lot of customers and is always doing her best . she deserves a big raise please.

Nic and the crew at Public Storage in Largo are great. Clean storage units, halls, and even the bathrooms. Price per sq. ft. was better than most other facilities. Air conditioning is set low enough it's comfortable and the humidity is low. The wire cage over each unit and good head space gives great air circulation. They provide carts and the doors, elevators, and halls are wide enough for almost anything in your house (I had to take motor off a table saw to get through a doorway). Finally, you need a PERSONAL code to enter and exit the lot which is part of great security. I highly recommend this facility.

Unfortunately I've had several spaces in this building. Service is always professional, grounds are clean and security adequate.

We have been renting space at the Largo facility since 2004. Our needs have changed several times over the years yet we always found the staff very accommodating, making sure our needs were met. Also, the cleanliness of the building is key to our satisfaction. The installation of the slide bolt locks was an added benefit and gave us an increased sense that our items were very secure. Our thanks to the staff for providing such excellent service.

I was helped by Jessica and every word that came from her was to save me money. If every business would find a Jessica and the ability that public storage has to meet today's financial struggles, we will survive.

Price jumped so I cancelled my contract

Bait and Switch. I signed up in August for a 10X20 space advertised online for $178 per month. I got a notice today saying my monthly rent will increase to $211 per month starting February 1st. I've discovered there's a clause in the contract which says they can increase your monthly rent any amount, any time with only a 30 day notice. Apparently they draw you in with a special price and then jack it up once you're there. Very dishonest!

The entire staff, particularly the manager Jessica, has been beyond amazing! The facility itself is always CLEAN, never anything laying around. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I have heard horror stories about other storage companies that deny packages..could you imagine having to drive to UPS to pick up your items?! I cannot thank Public Storage at 199 Missouri N enough for all of their help! I will be a customer for a very long time.

I recently purchased a second home in Florida. But since I'm not ready to furnish it, I decided I needed a storage unit that was capable of holding my possessions. Earlier this month, I stopped in to your facility on Missouri Ave. and loved the fact that it was climate controlled!!! Vicki and Jessica were very knowledgable about the units and were extremely professional at their job. I will be renting from you when the time is right for me to make the move down south!!!!

Used this facility twice, highly recommend it!! VERY clean, very well lit when you get off elevator to go to your storage locker. Locked gate to drive in and bldg locked, plus your storage area is locked.

I stopped in to get information in regards to a rental unit. Since I have never had to use a storage unit I had no clue how to even begin. I was very happy to meet Jessica and Vicki they had answers for all of my questions. This included size, climate control vs non climate control, boxes, tape, mattress covers and a product that removes dampness. This is a great facility. My wife and I looked at a number of storage companies after a recent move from Boston. After despairing of finding anything that we felt was up to snuff we talked to the folks here. Long story short, we were able to make the decision in 15 minutes. This facility is head and shoulders better than anything else in the area. Conveniently located and super-clean. Highly recommended.!

I reserved two units a couple of days before I needed them. On that day the movers and I got stuck on the freeway and we had issues arriving at the storage location before 6pm. I called the facility several times to let them know that I would be about 20 minutes late. I had to leave messages. No one picked up the phone. That made me uneasy because if the office would have been closed I would have to pay for hotel etc. for the movers. I received a call back around 5pm and I explained the situation to Vicki. She told me that she would have to get in touch with her supervisor. She then called me back and told me that she was allowed to stay longer. That put me at ease. We arrived 20 minutes after 6pm and just in case I reserved a third unit because we were not sure if everything would fit into two units. Vicki went home after all contracts were signed and we unloaded the truck. We were able to get everything into two units. Early the next day I went to the office to cancel the third unit with Jessica. That was not easy! Jessica explained to me that she couldn't cancel the unit because it was the next business day. I asked her how I could cancel the unit on the same day because there was no one at the office. She insisted that it was company policy. I asked her to please get in touch with her supervisor. The next day she called me and had good news. That made me happy after being very unhappy with Jessica telling me about company policy. Vicki went out of her way to satisfy the customer. Jessica did so also after some convincing.

Clean, well maintained facility. Linda, the manager, was always helpful and professional.

The manager, Linda, was friendly and professional. I needed a site that would allow a trailer to be dropped off overnight until it could be unloaded. She cheerfully showed me the area where the trailer should be set and found an available unit as close as possible so that unloading would be at its easiest. The pricing is on the high end but this is the cleanest facility I've encountered and has security cameras and light in the units.

This was the first time that I have rented a storage unit. Linda was excellent. I would definitely rent again from Public Storage if I ever needed to. Thanks
