DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO MOVE YOUR STUFF IN 6 MONTHS!!!!!! ____________________________________________________________ 2022 UPDATE Less than 6 months after moving to a smaller unit they increased rent another 20% These people are crooks - they know it is a pain to move and they take advantage of that. __________________________________________________________________ Don’t fall for the initial rent price. They raise with way too frequently usually at a 30% clip. It can’t be based on demand since they are offering lower rates online for new customers. They don’t value loyal customers.

I have never in 25 years had a company bait and switch with a rental price that goes up 40% after 3 months. Half the time, they have been under construction, my codes wouldn't work, elevators were broken, and multiple times, I couldn't even access my unit when I was home from working out of state. Absolutely horrible service for the price, but the people who work there have been a polite and nice as they can while dealing with the corporate price gouging.

Terrible company!!! I went there to use one of their storage units. They took my 29.95 admin fee and was unable to assist us with the unit we were renting. When we arrived at the facility there was no one there to help us. I had to, due to their incompetence, had to go to Uhaul, who I had the moving van with, and use one of their units which I ended up paying a lot more for. When I requested my fee returned after only having given it to them in about an hour before we realized we could not get the unit, they refused to return the fee. BAD BUSINESS!!! They could care less about me as a customer. It was their fault we were unable to get a unit and yet they think its just fine to keep my money. JUST WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT IS THINKING OF GOING TO A STORAGE FACILITY NOT TO USE THEM.

Stop, look up another smaller storage facility and go there. When i was moving out everyone complained about $300+ storage unit Bills and they were moving out too. I had to walk 35yards just to get to my unit: think about that! Also, they raise monthly fees after 3 months, have no restroom, no personal staff for a reason, do not maintain anything except cameras, apply 85 degree climate control conditions, and will screw you out of $500 after you move-- if that doesn't sound like a Joke proceed at your own financial risk.

I’m giving 3 stars because my stuffs are safe but even tho they are doing some changes, they need to fix the AC and also there’s no light inside every storage like other companies has… it’s to dark for the one that has to look for a particular item etc.. furthermore, something that it’s important to know if that you are never gonna be paying what they tell you at the beginning… there’s always rise on payment for whatever reason, so, careful with that because I’m paying around 100 more that I have told and when you already have all your stuffs together you just pay because you don’t wanna do the whole moving again… been there sometimes and it has been imposible to gets in because problems with the main door, elevators.. etc.

Big shout out to Selina, who helped me settle some trouble I was having regarding my unit. She took care of my problem, and I can rest a bit easier now.

I was helped by MaryAnn who was very helpful and patient with me. She assisted me in getting the right storage unit. All in all a very good experience.

I rented a unit from them without seeing it a few weeks ago. Unbeknownst to me, it was on the 3rd floor in the very back of the building. I tried to get closer to the front, after the fact, but was told it would have cost me another $30 a month, which I was not willing to do and since I had already paid the ridiculous administrative fees, etc. we stayed put. It also says climate controlled but where we are was well above 80 degrees inside, closer to 90. I would not recommend renting from a facility where there is not a manager on site so that you can see ahead of time what you are renting. It is way too expensive a month for that!

So this place 1355 FLA-436, Casselberry, FL., has eliminated their in-person contact person to an automatic person. I feel very uncomfortable and uneased when a facility of this nature does not have anyone on-site! Use to be able to speak in person with Maryann when I needed assistance while in the facility. My main concern now is my safety and the assistance needed by a staff member at least during business hours and days! Sad that machines are better than human beings!

Since most storage experiences are pretty standard, staff is usually the difference maker. In this case, Mary Ann was fantastic. She was super friendly and helpful from the first visit to explore prices right down to trying to help at the door each time we visited - even though she didn't need to. The worker who was there when we signed up was helpful too. They both handled business as promised. Comparing this to another company we explored where you couldn't find staff for an hour and then they showed up only to inform us how bad their accommodations were... Night and day, no real choice to be made! UPDATE... Major downgrade after two serious issues with payments. First, an online attempt failed with untrue claim of non-sufficient funds. More likely an import error on my part - due to lack of auto-fill capability on their site. No way to find out what happened because my bank had no record of an attempted payment. So I got stuck paying TWO penalties. The next month, I tried to pay in person, only to find NO personnel at any surrounding sites for an entire day. Calls to managers' offices were pointless and frustrating. Essentially, since they already have my account and my stuff, there was little care for whatever I might want/need anymore. Even trying to manipulate the phone tree options to get a real person ended with being put on hold for 30 mins only to have the call dropped - I believe on purpose! Finally found a pay kiosk miles away and dead in the middle of crazy rush hour traffic. Can't wait to get my stuff out of their facility! May Ann, the original manager who made a great first impression called the next day, but with little to offer besides an apology. Poorly managed companies can go from first-to-worst in two transactions, flat! Disgusting!

Mary Ann is a keeper! She was so valuable in the process of me switching to a different storage unit. She keeps the facility very clean. I've had no issues with either storage unit that I've rented. Temperature and climate are great. I've never seen a pest.

2022/08: Not sure what's going on, but it appears to be a bait and switch thing with this company. After giving me a good deal to move in and after only four months, they're now increasing the monthly storage rent by $60 a month, which is a 33% increase! Now, I have to fly back and move everything out to another place. This is not a trustworthy company. I recommend looking elsewhere AND get your price locked in for a year or you could be put in a very bad situation like me with these guys. Moving a 10x15 out to another place is a huge and very costly burden!

Great storage unit! Air conditioned, moving tools to use, clean, friendly staff. But I have to say the best part about my experience with this location is Maryann. She is personable, friendly, and willing to help! While I don't have a need for the unit anymore, I will certainly return if I ever do and will recommend my friends and family!

The amazing Maryann has returned to the helm of the Good City of Casselberry's Finest Public Storage. Maryann had stepped away to another location and, during her absence, I noticed a slight decline in the Quality of the Service at the store. It wasn't a major decline; It was subtle but noticeable. However, when I returned to close out my unit, I was delighted to find Maryann back in Charge, and I instantly noticed that her exceptional standards, professionalism, and attention to detail had righted the ship. I don't normally write reviews but this place truly deserves one. First of all it is the nicest Public Storage facility in the area. It's extremely clean and well kept and your space truly feels secure. Maryann is so wonderful. She truly cares about her customers and the experience they have here. She goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need and is truly a shinning joy in the office with her bubbly personality. She truly went above and beyond to help my move out process be seamless and I cannot thank her enough for her positive attitude and helping hand. If you want your things at a storage unit where someone truly cares about you then this is the place! I highly recommend this facility.

Work has kept me unusually busy the last few days, but I wanna rave about the fantastic customer service from Maryann! I have used this storage facility for several years. They also like to raise the price every year. It was nice, clean, and seemed safe until today. Maryann came outside to tell me couldn't leave my things outside. I was only standing there for 10 minutes. I have seen people take up the entire lobby, sidewalk, and several parking spaces with their things and she didnt say a word to them. When I told her I wasn't leaving it. That I was waiting for my ride. She continued to speak as if I hadn't spoken. She then called the police even though I rent a storage room there. I wasn't doing anything illegal, so why call the police. I will never rent here again.

I rented a 10x5 unit in May, 2018 for $62 a month. In just over 2 years they've raised my rent multiple times so that in Aug, 2020 it will be $105 - a nearly 70% increase! They know nobody wants to go through the hassle of moving their stuff back out, so they take advantage of you.

Moving during this COVID-19 crisis is such a hassle but Heather was very organized, conscious of keeping her distance, wearing a mask, offering me gloves and keeping the store secure while I was there. Maryann was very helpful and informative during our check in process. She made it very easy for us as we were coming from out of state. Maryann has tremendous customer service skills but is genuine. Thank you so much Maryann for your help. It made the moving process less painful. Like others have said, they need more carts for people to get their belongings to their units. We had a truckload and other people were waiting for us to be finished. Of course it was Saturday, one of the busiest days of the week, but they still need at least a couple more carts.

I don't know if it's the A/C or if they pay well here, but both times I've walked in here the service has been phenomenal. I believe it was Mary Ann the first time who was very kind and informative and Asha, who helped me this time had great customer service skills. She smiled genuinely and chit chatted with me casually as she helped me. She was informative as well. I am in a stressful transition and appreciated her positive vibes. The storage seems safe and secure and I will count on Public Storage in the future. My only complaint, and I'm only saying this because another customer mentioned the same issue as the thought I had, is that they only have three of the four-wheel dollies. An understandable issue especially if your storage unit is on the third floor. Like I said though, great, affordable place and awesome customer service.

Not really the kind of place to rate as its just a storage unit. But security seems good, easy to get around in. Plenty of moving carts to aid in carrying your stuff about. As its multi floored, the access is not as easy as units You can drive truck into.

This is a review have been meaning to write. Karen was the closing manager/supervisor for the day when I arrived coming from Miami. She was very helpful in the whole process of getting my storage as anyone would expect but the manner in how she did it was very nice. She was very informative and patient while I was on the fence between storage sizes near end of the day and closing. Though the process of just setting up and showing the space is what they would normally do for their customers, her customer service and helpfulness was refreshing to experience because that has been lacking everywhere. Thanks Karen for your help, much appreciated!!

I shopped around for storage went to I haul went to cube smart and the only place that seemed to want my business was Chris at public storage !!! Thanks for all your help and for making me feel good about leaving my stuff here.

Do not believe these other reviews that say their pricing is fair. They are NOT! These reviews are either false or the people that may have written them either haven’t been there long enough and/or haven’t fallen into one of their traps yet. Read reviews on Yelp! and others that talk about rate increases, other fees and locks going missing and people having their stuff stolen. The people are trained to ACT nice to lead you into a false sense of security. Though, in all fairness, some lower staff members may not be aware of how bad this company really is, which is probably why there is a high turnover in employment. Upper management, like Dianne (District Mgr. in my area), is completely aware and are the ones implementing these gouging tactics and other detestable practices. I would give you a detailed account, as I have on other sites but this one has an alpha-numeric character limit. AVOID this company.

It took them forever to process the person in front of me to get a new unit and took them forever to process me to get a new unit. They told this one poor lady who came in behind me that she was going to have to wait half an hour outside of the locked office while he showed me the unit I was going to rent. I suggested that she come with us and that's what we did. The next day I went to put my stuff in storage and there was a lock on my door. Come to find out apparently they put locks on any empty storage units every single night if there's not already a lock on it even if there's nothing in it like mine. But of course the person who rented the unit to me said nothing about that. And of course the office is only open hours that are the same hours that I have to go to work so I'm not real sure how I'm going to get back in there and get them to take that lock off so I can put my stuff in there and put my own lock on. I called corporate and they were absolutely worthless they did not try to do anything to help me at all or say they would do anything to make sure that this person tells everyone this policy in the future. They even told me that I wasn't even supposed to bring my own lock and I was supposed to buy a lock to make sure it fit the building. All these round locks the storage units make you buy are exactly the same of course it's going to fit the building. Don't patronize this chain if you can help it. Try to find a mom and pop locally run storage facility that actually cares about its customers in this helpful.

Today I want to share my whimsical experience at Public storage. Let me start with rose who is the definition of exceptional customer service. She made my day go from blah to amazing. I came in to help a friend move his stuff out of storage and was immediately greeted by rose ,Juanita and Omayra . I instantly felt like I was at home and part of the family. If I ever need a storage unit I’m going to make sure I come back to this specific location no matter how far I move. Five out of five stars .

Christina was very helpful and patient in addressing our storage needs. Many times upper management receives complaint letters when upset however, it is the habit of our company to make sure upper management is notified when an outstanding compassionate employee goes above and beyond to make their company look good. We met with her manager Rose and now we know why (more of the same). It is obvious that Public Storage training programs work well and Corporate should take note on the files of these 2 great employees. My experience overall was great! For almost two years I was able to work with Christina, she was amazing in every way. I came in to pay my bill at the start of the month, i dealt with the nicest young woman Amanda, she was with another couple so i stayed back as she said she would be with me in just a moment. As she was finishing up with the couple. A man rushed in angry his code was not working. . . Amanda immediately told the couple to have a wonderful rest of the day they left with a smile knowing she was getting busy.. She then told me again she is so sorry and helped the gentleman quickly as to not make him more upset. She was able to take my payment and during all this she never once dropped that smile off her face. .. we chatted until another paying customer came in.. i highly recommend Amanda as anybody storage manager.

I worked with Gilbert when I initially rented a storage unit from this location. He's extremely friendly and informative. The pricing is fair and I never encountered any unexpected fees or prices. When it came time to move my belongings, I had lost my key to the unit. Leanette was just as friendly and helpful in walking me through the steps to gaining entry into my storage unit. I would recommend this location to anyone who needs storage space. Easily a 5 star establishment.

I've worked with many storage companies and my experience with this Public Storage facility is worthy of more than 5 stars. It is one of the cleanest facilities and Christina treated me extremely well. I wanted a storage unit on the first floor and settled for one on the second floor since all of the first floor units were rented. When my movers arrived and wanted to charge me more for moving my furnishings into a second floor unit. Christina quickly switched me to a first floor unit that had just been emptied. She was so kind and thoughtful and even though my movers were difficult, she kept her composure. I won't soon forget how well I was treated by her. She definitely saved the day for me and should be commended for her kindness and professionalism.

It was great! Christina was easy to talk to and helpful with packing tips. She talked about how to pack items safely and to make best use of our unit. Would highly recommend her.

Abraham, Vi, Christina and Lilly are the new FAB 4 in my book. I'm there because Abraham and Vi were so knowledgeable and professional. They weren't the cheapest but you get what you pay for! Easy and secure access with long entry hours. And when I didn't need storage anymore Christina and Lilly made closing out quick and easy. They were so nice to me and my dog I feel like I want to come back just to visit. Choose this particular PS Storage location and you'll feel like you're among friends who care. Because they do. And that's worth everything!

I actually considered moving my belongings to this location solely because of Christina H. - she goes above and beyond for the customers I have stood in the store waiting to pay and listened to her show compassion and kindness with clients - one time in particular stands out - last year a father mother and daughter were in front of me they had called the 800 number to make reservations for a climate control unit and the $1. move in special they had messed up the order he was extremely rude and belligerent yet Christina kept apologizing and reassuring them that her manager would make it right he asked if her name was _______and she said yes - he said no she will not I have had dealings with her she is useless and does not return calls - she kept her composure and professionalism - I wanted to step in and help because it was not her fault for the error - I have 4 units at a different location and I miss her smiling face 😉

I worked with Christina, formerly at the Oviedo location but now transferred here to Casselberry. She was incredibly kind and patient with my situation, which was complicated due to my living out of state. She assisted me with a complicated move-out involving multiple vendors. She made excellent recommendations, helped me to sort out what would be needed, and above all she was generous with her time and extremely friendly. Christina really went above and beyond what was required, and I could not recommend her service more - regardless of which location she serves.
