Let's see, I moved out before the end of the month, and this company tried to charge me for the following month, and the charge was $56.73 I call customer service, the first guy I talked to reversed the charge and said he closed my account, the following day I received a jotice that they charged my account again and that put my bank account in overdraft. So I called customer service once again and that time the lady told me that she wouldn't refund my money and I had to pay, so I refused and filed a claim with my bank who advised me to call them back and demand my card be taken off file. I was told that it had been done by the lady on the phone. Not true, 2 days later, i received another notification that they charged my card again. So I called the customer service once again and was told that I had to pay and that they had closed my account. So I filed another claim with my bank. And I'm now waiting to hear from my bank. Be aware that this company will lie and steal from you.

I was having a terrible day yesterday and to top it off I lost my storage keys. I asked the manager if she could assist me, she kindly empathetically explained I would have to call a lock smith. I was pissed but she helped find one that wasn’t very expensive and was pretty fast at getting there or it seemed that way because while I waited so did Jennifer and she really seemed to care offered me water and made me laugh I got in my storage and forgot all about my horrible day. Thanks Jennifer you are amazingly kind the customer service world needs more people like you. True gem..

I’m confused I got a storage unit told I can move in, been here for hours trying to get ahold of someone to unlock the lock they have on it and yet no one has been here all day. Been here since 1pm currently 3pm

As of now, we are trying to move in but we had an appointment last night and no one was on property. We then try to go this morning and still no one there to give us access to our unit on move in day. In the process of trying to get our unit accessible. Everyone online is very helpful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

So my first encounter today at 3 PM, two hours before they close was already terrible. There’s two cars parked there, but nobody was in the office and it was locked and I had to do everything online in the parking lot. He gave me my receipt with a code to get in, but on my way out it refreshed the page and I lost my code. Then it wouldn’t allow me to log into the app or online either so I couldn’t get out. I repeat I couldn’t get out!!!! I couldn’t get out for 15 to 20 minutes. I knocked on the door to what looks like an apartment, the dogs were barking, but nobody answered. I was about to get a rational until somebody coming in. Let me out. If you close at five, they should be somebody there until five. Get it together.

Kenny, from the 4101 location, helped my mother-in law and I get our new unit situated. He was very patient, understanding, articulate, and most importantly helpful!

My storage unit started at $52 a month and after several years of perfect payments it’s now $148. I called to have it reduced because the current unit I am in is listed for $68 on their website and my request was denied. My rate doesn’t seem to have a ceiling so there is no choice but to leave because in another year or two it will be over $200 a month. It’s ludicrous.

Brittany the Property Manager was absolutely amazing!! Best experience @ Public Storage so far.. Moved out from a Public Storage location I rented for 4yrs to the Evans Street location..Best decision ever!! BEWARE!! All…update on my review. Changed my rating down to 2-stars. Be very careful when you see the very low online sales price for a new unit. I accepted the online sales price of $192 for a large unit. Only 4-months after I moved in, I received a notification that the rent would increase. I’d only occupied the unit for 4 months! I complained about the deceptive sales promotion and received a 6-month “discount” to remain at the lower online sales price. After the 6-month period had expired, I received a reminder email about my upcoming rental payment. The price had increased without any notification of the increase. As per the lease agreement, Public Storage must give a 30-day notice prior to the increase which I never received. When I asked the District Manager David Buck to honor the leasing agreement and delay the increase & send the 30-day notification, his answer was I already received a notice when I received the 6-month discount and Public will not be sending another notice despite having this condition in section 2.2 of the lease agreement. The District Manager certainly did not do a good job of providing good customer service, which has been my experience with Public for the many years I’ve been a customer. And don’t try calling the 800 customer service #. They are certainly no help! Also keep in mind, your lease agreement with Public is on a monthly basis therefore, they have the right to increase your rate at any time. Manager Jae indicated that Public increase the rental rate every 6-months so, that online rental rate may look very attractive in the beginning however, within a very short period of time, your rate will increase several times and you will be paying the market value of your storage unit. Be cautious before you sign your agreement with Public! Very deceptive practices!
