I’ve had a great experience with the customer service at this Public Storage. The staff went out of their way to make my move-in process and lock replacement smooth and easy. I feel safe here and haven’t had any issues with other customers. The facility is clean, with no noticeable odors in the units or the lobby. While the location is in an industrial area, that’s common for storage facilities. Rental rates vary depending on the location and the duration of your stay.

Jennifer help me setting up the storgae and walk me through the whole rental process. i had a quiet wonderful experience with the team. The env is awesome and safe. The price is good! Thanks for the help!

Jean should be fired. She should learn how to listen and talk. People lack of communication skills is not qualified for this job.

first time renting a unit with public storage and it was a pleasant experience! this location had friendly staff that were very helpful, answered any questions/concerns i had, and stayed on top with making sure the property/buildings are clean! i applied through their online $1 first month deal since i only needed a unit for 2 weeks before my move. keep in mind, you will have to pay the one time admin fee! overall, i paid about $30 and the final payment was $0 on move out day. if this is your first time, it will be a little confusing to locate your unit and how to access it via lock. staff will give you directions on where to find the unit and how to unlock it. there are usually 2 or more dollies available to use in the building, depends on the location, but it is shared with other renters unless you buy your own. staff will recommend downloading the public storage app and this will become a veryyyy helpful tool for unlocking/accessing gates and doors throughout the property! you just press a button in the app and it will automatically unlock it under your credentials. it saves so much time and less of a hassle. before my last week, i scheduled my move out date via app and everything went smoothly. didn't need to speak or see anyone for this matter, just had to make sure all of my things were out before the day of. in case anyone is reading this and are worried, unless you need help, you won't have to interact with anyone during your time moving things in and out! good luck with your stay here and happy wishes to anyone planning to move :)

I wouldn't change this location on Lenfest for anything, customer service is excellent and JEAN is extremely helpful and always is ready to explain any questions regarding fees or changes in prices of accounts. Jean greets each customer with respect, care, concern and total understanding. Jean deserves to be rewarded for her excellent customer service and has trained her CO workers to treat every customer the same. This location is one that can be trusted 💯% I swear they treat you like family here!! Thank you 🙏🏻

The customer service at 684 Lenfest/ and North King Road provided great customer service, particularly Gene. I was lost and had trouble finding my way to the storage facility not only did Gene provide detailed directions, she met me at the front gate of the facility, and assist me in finding my storage unit within the facility, I couldn't be more pleased with Public Storage. They also have phenomenal storage rates. Rental specials, no other storage facility offers.

Had a great experience today and staff were very friendly. Farshid helped me a lot today despite my endless confusion. He walked me through the whole process and even upgraded my storage without a problem as I accidentally signed up for the wrong one. The place itself was a maze so it was nice that he was able to guide me and help bring my things there as well. 10/10 service.

I have been using this storage facility for a while. I like the facility. My only problem is that the price goes up regularly. I recently downscaled to a smaller box to save $$ after the last raise. During the move I found this lady, Jean,who works there very helpful and reliable. I wanted to mention her in my review. All on all, I like this facility,, especially that it has A/C, good for storing temperature sensitive stuff.

I had a great experience at this Public Storage location. Rudy was fantastic—very professional, kind, and thorough when helping me schedule my move-in over the phone. I had a minor issue accessing my unit and gave the front office a call. Even though I initially checked out with Mike, who was also great, Rudy came out personally and promptly fixed the situation. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Highly recommend this place, and make sure to ask for Rudy!

The best thing about this place is their staff. Tim goes out of his way to make sure you have the information you need and makes you feel like a valued customer. And you know he takes pride in his job because he proudly displays his award of excellence on the front counter. The entire staff keep the facility clean and all in working order. The lobby is neat and tidy and the restroom is clean. The major downfall is the elevator access and getting it to work as it should. Its annoying to not be able to just push the button and get to your unit. It all has to happen way to fast and if you.re not pushing buttons fast enough the elevator will not work correctly. Its always giving warning noises and doesn.t accommdate any time lag. They have large flat bed dollys for moving lots of boxes at once. Very useful.

Honestly, they have great customer service . 2 months ago Someone stole my mail at my house , and my identity, and as a result of that, I almost lost all my stuff from my storage unit because whoever had my information was trying to get access to my storage unit. But thanks to the staff from public storage , they secured my unit with an extra lock. The manager was able to void all of my late fees and some other charges I had on my account. He reduced my balance almost 50% off to help me out because of the situation I had . THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THEM. I WAS ABLE TO SAVE ALL MY BELONGINGS. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT. 🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰❤️❤️❤️

No one is ever there when you need help. The staff is always on break. You have a bunch of homeless people inside the parking area, and it makes it very uncomfortable to load and unload. Plus the rates got up almost 100.00 a year.

My payments go through AutoPay with PS and $32 more was taken from my account. I called right away at 7:59am they open at 8am. I spoke with Ruby who was very pleasant and nice from to start. I explained my issue, she said the rates had increased and I should have received a notice. I told I checked my emails and app messages there was no notice. Ruby submitted a dispute for me and the increase will not take effect until March 1st on my account and the $32 will be credited to next months bill. I was very impressed with Ruby’s demeanor, customer service and prompt resolution of my issue. Ruby took care of me within 5 minutes and I was able to go on my “Merry” way. Thanks Ruby, you are the best! Happy Holidays! You deserve a huge bonus! 🙏🏽

I have this storage since April 2023. Evrytime I go in I have my dog with me. The staff saw me evrytime and they never ever mention.that dogs are not allowed. Today first time coming on Sunday 11/05/2023 at 12:25pm Karen I mean a white woman immediately flag me and told me dogs are not allowed at public storage. After 6month of in and out of public storage I was told by Karen I mean the woman sitting behind the counter dogs are not allowed inside!!!!!!!!!!!

Sheila is great at her job and is one of the nicest customer service employees Public Storage has. I have always felt secure with my property at this location and with her as an employee, Sheila deserves a Supervisor position for all her hard work!! Excellent customer service by Gabrielle today she made the experience less stressful.

Best deals are online. Staff is very helpful online support staff is total clueless. Thank God for the local staff. Post Covid, you hire people for remote jobs at low wages & little training, you get what you pay for, clueless, not customer friendly. I recommend visiting any facility and have them help you through booking online and you will get the best deal.

Don’t bother with public storage their rates are more expensive than Uhaul and they increase their rent after 6 months. Uhaul does not increase rent and they keep their prices reasonable. Public storage at this location claims to have clients from 10 years ago but that location been opened on 2018. Also security isn’t that great. My storage had an attempt break in. when I told them and asked them if I can move they charged me for two storage rents in a month. This place does not care.

My rent price wasn't updating properly but they made sure it was adjusted to fit the rent price I was promised. I am beyond happy. Great service! 7.12.23 Edit: I just wanted to add that I had an issue with logging into my account and Reese was very helpful! He wasn't able to exactly assist with the issue (it was something that was kind of out of his hands) I had but he was very friendly and informative. He stayed on the line and didn't try to pressure me off of the phone. Thanks so much Reese!

I’ve been using their units for 3 years now, but I have a small unit. I never ran into any issues. But my check in from back then, to now— totally different. With my now husband moving from Canada and a baby on the way, I felt the need to move to a bigger unit. Came in on Saturday to check in my new unit, was greeted almost immediately by Milo. He was so amazing! He helped get me settled with the new unit, provided me all the information I needed and so much more. He’s awesome!

I been a customer for many years. Rents crazy here so this allows me "Extra" Space to put my off season excess clothes and things for summer and events as needed. Through my hard times they've been here for me and have my back.Great staff-get to know them.

I love this storage I’ve had this storage for three years and the manager opened my locker because I lost my key and he had a brace on his foot, so I appreciate the fact that he was able to open my locker with his foot in a foot brace. Ruby was at the front desk and took my payment and asked for help I really appreciate them they are the best public storage in San Jose.

This is an overdue review but I would like to share what a great caring staffs this location has! We had an item that was lost in the store and all the staff were very eager to help and assist. I’m so grateful for the wonderful experience I had with Ruby! This is my first time getting a storage unit and she helped explained the steps and the process of renting a unit. I absolutely loved her energy, I left the office with all my questions answered and pumped to start moving. The unit and the storage grounds are clean and well maintained.

I had a good experience with PS customer services personnel. They’re patient and a great help in finding the right storage. Thanks to Reece my mom was able to get a storage space downstairs when in fact she’s reserving a storage upstairs. They ran out the one upstairs so they gave my mom the one downstairs instead without extra cost and it’s the closet access near the entry. I would recommend this storage site. My family has been using this PS site when we need a storage space and so far everything’s there no breaks in so far. The price is decent and cheaper compared to other sites.

Yesterday I rented a 10x10 unit. Gabrielle set up the account for me. She is extremely efficient. She got me set up in less than 10 minutes, while simultaneously helping her colleague to resolve some issues. She is pleasant and professional. I know she is also a diligent employee, doing whatever is necessary. As I walked in to the office, she was mopping the floor. Your facility is very clean. Overall, I have a very good experience being served by Gabrielle.

We met Gabrielle who’s polite and very professional. She helped me picked a large unit with climate control. She’s also very patient and took me to see a couple available units to choose from. The whole check-in process went smoothly.

This is a great location! I can’t speak for the people who work in the office on Lenfest but the girls who work at the King rd office right behind it are A-MAZ-ING! So helpful and sweet! I’ve been to other storage places and having the girls in the office be so great makes a difference!

First off I would like to say thank you to Gabrielle and Sheila! Amazing guidance and help through my frustrating situation of getting a storage unit! They helped me through the whole process! The were very professional read me the benefits of the insurance and made sure I was able to find and lock my unit. The facility was kept clean and secure! Also thank you Gabrielle for following up with and making sure I got to the facility in time to use there on sight free dolly as well! I do wish that can stay open to later but I was sold by the service and knowledge from Gabrielle and Sheila! Once again thank you and hope you both have a great day :)

This is the best place to go! I reserve a unit online and but there was a problem on the system that wont let me get it but thankfully RUBY helped me to get the deal and everything went smoothly!!!! I had the best deal because she help me and she was very nice and has a really good customer service. If you need help i would look for her if you have any problems!
