Excellent service, Thanks!!!!

I'm giving 5 stars for the staff. They are super friendly and helpful. I had a great experience with them and enjoyed seeing them every time I came. They were patient and professional. I needed a place quickly to store things while I was out of town and ended up using this place for several months over the summer. Unfortunately my rent was raised completely unexpectedly from $135 to $175. I imagine this is one way the company operates in order to get some extra income once you're settled in, so beware. However, this does not reflect on the staff in any way as they are employees and do not set the prices. but I've already found a cheaper option closer to where I am with more accommodating walk-in hours. Ironically, I wasn't even looking to move to a different location. I wouldn't have had the rent just stayed the same (which is already over twice what I'll be paying elsewhere.) They could have kept collecting from me but got greedy. Oh well, I get to save money and I'm sure there's no love lost in my departure on part of the ownership. Thank you very much to the staff here, you will be missed. just a couple slight edits: Yes, Patty (or Pattie? Patti?) is the main employee who made this place such a wonderful experience. Just an exceptional human being all around, deserves all the good things in life to happen for her. Also, I, too, noticed that the walls are thin sheetrock. It's very ironic that the doors are so hard and locked when one could actually very easily knock down the walls to get into your units. I've actually seen other units walls knocked down in this complex revealing someones personal belongings behind it. So definitely beware and I would probably advise that you don't store anything here of great value to anyone but yourself. The walls in my own unit were very flimsy. I once barely hit the wall with a box i was sliding over in my own unit and heard stuff falling over in my neighbors units (sorry neighbor). So. 5 stars for Patty. Maybe like 2 for the storage unit.

Patty is amazing! I've been at this location for almost 15 years and I've NEVER had bad service. Patty, however, goes over and above when I have a question or concern. To be clear: I'm giving Patty five stars. She keeps the facility clean and in working order. I really feel as though she cares about my business. Over the course of my renting, the increases are a little extreme and the hours are not always convenient. Overall I'd give Public Storage as a company 3 stars and give the other 2 to Patty. She deserves at least 7 stars.

Came in to buy some merchandise the managers Jackie and Pattie were helpful letting me know which kind of boxes they had and the promotions for boxes and were overall really helpful if I ever need storage I’ll rent here !

I came in looking to rent but unfortunately some things didn’t end up going well with my movers but pattie and Jackie were so sweet helping me out as much as they could so as soon as I settle everything out with my movers then I will definitely come here to rent

Jackie helped me with some questions and concerns she is very polite and professional and as we did a walk around I noticed the property very clean and she showed me cameras and let me know that they do regular lock checks which make me feel very good about storing here so if anyone’s looking to store I I would recommend this one!

There is thin sheet rock coming off and exposing the unit to the outside. I rented this tiny unit for over $500 after insurance and fees. It has a big heavy steel door with a lock. I walk in and to my right is flimsy thin sheet rock with a hole I can see right through it to the outside. I touch the sheet rock and it’s not even held in. I go around to the outside and I can see the sheet rock was once pulled out with all the screws holding it down. Do yourself a favor and don’t rent here or if you must, inspect the unit before you load it up with your belongings.

I am so glad I chose this facility. It is safe and clean...plenty of light and instant help when I need it. Plus Edgar calls to remind me if I have not paid yet. He does not want me to have to pay late fee. Tough job...have to be smart.and all those things Patty is helpful and efficient. Once you choose your unit, you get your key. Come and go in using your personal code. Patty is helpful at the front desk. I often pay in person. Very accessable.

The staff at this location, Patty and Andrew in particular, make this location stand out from others. Patty, is very knowledgeable and showed incredible compassion when I recently had to go through and clean out a unit that my deceased brother had rented. The staff walked me through the process and was very good about reaching out to me with updates; I never had to follow up. I was treated with respect every step of the way. Lastly, this location is kept really clean. If you are considering a storage unit, I highly recommend this location and the staff.

Patty is always helpful to all customers especially for those facing extremely hardships! She is the best asset for the company. I plan to move my stuff out after 7 years rent within 4 months 2x increased without having mercy breaks despite my struggle of hardships yet I always paid on time. So this place used to be open till 9pm before new renovations and painting made it what it is now and they close way earlier then before (6:30pm). Lady their is very friendly and helpful. Very clean complex.

This public storage has the best people in the world working there, I'm extremely satisfied with security precautions they have in place, as well as the caring nature that Pattie (site manager) has always bestowed upon me and my belongings. She explains company policy very well and also will remind me of upcoming pay schedules which is very beneficial for me especially when it happens to slip my mind every now and again. I highly recommend this storage facility if your looking for a safe and clean location to store your items. The whole experience is amazing, from the welcoming, professional and caring staff, this storage facility makes the whole process of renting a unit painless and is definitely the best place to store your belongings with Pattie as the manager and the rest of the team she has there. My rates went up over a hundred dollars a month after 6 months. I requested a move out and they waited to collect an extra months rent before letting me know that the move out needed to be handled the day before (last day of the month, not first day). They told me it wasn’t possible to reverse the charge even though the unit was empty. Well, I was angry but I paid for the month. Later that month, however, they abruptly ended the contract in the middle of the month which I had already paid for. I disputed the charge with my credit card company because they didn’t provide the month of rent like I had paid for. They are now using debt collectors to harass me for this debt that I disputed after they terminated my contract earlier than they were supposed to. So to any potential renters, beware the fine print and understand that the rules only apply to you, and you may not get what you pay for at this location.

This branch of Public Storage, has the best people working there, especially the manager " Pattie " she has been the kindest and very knowledgeable! She returns all my calls promptly. She will go out of her way to make sure you know all the companies changes( new hours and gate changes due to COVID-19. She is very friendly and easy to talk to . I am not very good with a PC and was trying to use the website to set up auto-withdrawl for my monthly payments but I wasn't sure if I had done it right so I call her office an asked her questions about it. Well I had done it right BUT I entered everything in twice. So when it came time for payment to be taken out , they took it out twice. I called her and she fixed it right away!!! Thank you Pattie. I live in Arizona and my son and I both had a unit there for many years. The property is very well kept and is getting a new paint job. Clean restroom and wheelchair ♿ accessible. There are a few parking spots right out front of office. You have to use the access code to get in the gate and out. Due to COVID-19 you have a 30 minute time allotment then you'll have to go to key pad and put your code in again or go to office and let them know you will be longer. If I ever need a Storage unit again I will go back to them. They only allow one person into office at a time ( again COVID-19) my son and I thank you for all the years of help and kindness Pattie an Public Storage.

Pricey for the size of the storage, but for the area it's about average... lanes between storage units are passable by two vehicles slowly or one moving van... Designed as a one way in, and secondary area exit As of 20210314 the exit gate is broken

I am a subcontractor doing a remodel at this location. This is one of the best public storages I have ever been to. Especially the management (Manager Pattie) She is the most professional, kind, and respectful people I have ever meet. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this public storage to anyone looking for a storage.

Would give 0 if possible. My unit was broken into.everything of value taken..they refused to help police with cameras...they just said too bad not thier problem...them sent me a bill ..I think it an insides job ,that's why they don't help police...

Other storage facilities wasted my time and tried to "bait and switch" me into something other than what I was looking for. At Public Storage, I got what I wanted, the unit was the size it was advertised, and I got a good deal and move-in special. The manager, Naisa, was friendly, listened to my needs and got me through the reservation process quickly. I am a very satisfied customer!

Horrible place of business, completely unprofessional!!

Wow! First, I've only had my unit for 2 weeks, and I've already had soooo many issues with them. I've been locked out *(gate code denied access), I've already had to go to the office 3 times for problems, I'm completely paid up to date and yet i have a lock on my unit **(double locked)... i haven't gotten notice or a phone call as to why there is an extra lock or why i am denied entry, i haven't stayed late, i don't go to often, this storage is very unprofessional and a complete joke. I have no idea how their still in business, really. When you first get a unit, they have you write a good review, making sure you include their name, making sure you do it, before you actually find out what its really all about, and how they actually treat you. Its truly amazing that they have gotten away with this for this long. Aweful storage, people, ect!!! If i could put "0" stars, i would.

Not too happy with the hidden mandatory insurance cost, the hidden wait for the cleaning after the reservation, the jungleing between clients with one associate and the long time consuming walks with other clients to show the facility, or the stanky attitude from the chick at the desk. Not pleased with the monthly rate for a 10×10 compared to other storage facilities (like pasadena 90 bucks cheaper per month)... Other than that it was pretty easy. But don't think it will be quick and easy on a weekend. It's going to take you all afternoon. Especially on a Sunday. It is what it is.

This place favors corporate rules ovet compassion or the needs of customers. They watch over me like a hawk and accuse me of sleeping in my unit when i never have. They confiscated ny phone when i was charging it . threatened to evict me for being there too long. Icky staff. They dont care about customers only corporate rules

Pulled into Public storage today with a reservation appointment for a 5x6 and left with a 5x9. The process itself was smooth and efficient thanks to the help of Devin. With just a few open ended fitting questions, he was able to determine that my initial choice was not quite the right size for me. We took a look at the 5x6 and sure enough he was right. He recommended going one space higher and he 5x9 seemed to be a perfect fit. The price was not my liking, so instead of pushing me into signing, Devin spent time looking at locations around the area for me. I’ve been in sales and customer service for years, and in the end I really felt like Devin took care of what we needed and that helped close the deal. Thanks for all the help! Seriously..... y'all need to get better lighting in that place....it's like zombie apocalypse in there...the lights don't stay on long enough and you gotta run down and do jumping jacks to get them to go back on ..I'm sure there is some hilarious security video of me jumping around like a freak. Also, there are people sorta like day living in the upstairs spaces which is fine, I suppose...but the cigarette and pot smoking isn't cool if you have your kids with ya and you are trying to get Halloween decorations out and you're are getting a massive buzz from dude down the way....woof....strong weed, dude. Normally I don't care what people do, and yea, smoke your weed...but not indoors when others gotta be in close to you, working. I swear that I got a bit stoned that day. Also dude that works there who helped me load some stuff into the donation bin? YOU ROCK, BRO AND HAVE A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR...STAY COOL.

I didn’t get a chance to thank him in person when he moved on. I just wanted to say I really appreciated him. He always went the extra mile.

The only reason I am still at this Public Storage in Monrovia is because of Juliana. I live and work in Culver City but because of her and her professionalism, I continue to stay a client here in Monrovia

Renting a storage unit was a breeze at this location. Checking out was a whole different story. I went into their office 4 days before the end of the month to notify them that I would no longer be needing my unit. The girl at the desk was chowing down on a bag of Jack in the Box and told me all I needed to do was take the lock off of my storage unit and make sure it was clean. I did both by the end of November. A few days into the month of December I received a call from Public Storage telling me they never received my rent. I told them it was unnecessary because I had moved out. The girl at the desk must have been too busy stuffing her face with a Jumbo Jack to enter the fact that I was no longer going to rent my unit. Instead of resolving this very simple problem, Public Storage charged me for the month of December. I spoke to several employees at the Monrovia location to have this erroneous charge dismissed and they said they would put it into their notes and “work on it”. I called customer service. They were useless and told me to contact the district manager. I left a message for Denise the district manager and she didn’t even bother returning my phone call. Public Storage Monrovia not only failed to do their job correctly but also provided horrible customer service.

I was fortunate enough to rent for this storage unit twice. The first time I rented out, I was helped by Justin and Gilbert who were friendly and prompt in giving me the rundown of the place. This was my first time ever renting from any storage facility before, so it helped that they gave me a quick crash course of how it all worked. I ended renting out a storage space size of 9 x 10 (with the online special) and bought a lock & insurance for my unit. It was a very quick and easy transaction. Both Justin and Gilbert did a great job helping me settle in. The second time I rented, I needed a bigger space, but the size I was looking for was not available at this location (10 x 20). That's when I was helped by Akamie. She was superb! Not only did she help me find a unit that would meet my needs, but she made sure all my paperwork and transition would be done effortlessly; and within the time frame I had given her. As it can be stressful to have to keep moving your stuff when you're on a time crunch. She also made sure the new unit I was renting was in top condition and addressed all the concerns I had. She even sent out a repair man to fix the tiniest of holes I saw in the unit's dry wall. Not only was she friendly, easy to talk to, and understanding; she went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and more. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this Public Storage. I have never rented from any facilities before, but I feel like I would not need to after these two experiences from this location. Thank you, Public Storage of Monrovia!! :)

Juliana and Justin are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. We did the online expedited process, which made it a breeze; you can also get better deals online. My only gripe would be that they use pull lights in the units, which easily snap off. Additionally, I would have rated them a 5 if they had temperature controlled units. I knew they didn't have those types of units, but the ratings we're so good we decided to go for it anyway. So, overall, good little storage facility, with great customer service.

I have been here not even a year and I am getting kicked out? For????? No one will tell me why I pay every month never stayed past closing. But last week they changed the gate code on me!!! With out telling me so I was stuck in here for 3 hours not knowing why had to call the fire department to open the gate. All before closing time too. I have been trying to get a hold of the district manager for a week now no return calls nothing very unprofessional and as of yesterday I was giving a note saying I was being kicked out with no reason why still and less than a week to move everything and it was not even my name on the letter I'm sorry but I pay way to much here for a 10X20 witch is not by the way it's 9x18 very upset because I feel like I'm being discriminated and all I want to know is why and what did I do??? I will never rent a storage with public storage ever again. Thank you public storage for making feel unwelcome and scammed very sad

Edgar is the best! We were at this location for almost 5 years and I was always in and out of there~ Edgar always had a big smile on his face!! So nice to see him and get his help or just wave hi. One day on the 10th of the month I couldn't get there in time so I tried to call Edgar. Even though it was a few minutes after 6pm, I tried. no answer~ oh well, my fault~ ill have to pay the late fees. A couple minutes later Edgar is calling me. He noticed my number on the phone and called to see if everything was ok!! I explained that all I had was cash and now PS was closed what can I do?? Edgar reminded me I had until 9PM and I could get a money order and drop it thru the slot. OhEmGee!! I was pretty stressed and to have someone just call~ right on right?!! Edgar is very knowledgeable, funny, professional, and is very polite when he is really busy! I had been at two other PS locations before and there was no personality at either like having Edgar greet you! Its been a year now that I have moved but I never forgot about writing this review about Edgar's PS location, I just finally got around to it!!!! Kelleigh

I was at the Duarte location, the guy said they tried to contact me regarding my reservation and someone misspelled my email address. Ok, I can understand that. However, the Duarte location left me hanging. No assistance. I went to the Azusa location and that didn't work for me, however, those two assisted me in finding this one. It's a better location AND this was really easy to get and the best customer service. One bad apple, don't spoil the whole bunch.
