I’m so thankful she navigated us through e rental process and made our move very smooth. First she advised we come in for a location visit to make sure the size would work for our items . The access hours worked out perfectly, the location is right off 680 and property is very clean.. Public storage has an app you can access gate through the phone without getting out of your vehicle . All my account information Is on the app such a great upgraded feature. I highly recommend this location to anyone needing a Storage . Staff is very friendly.

Today, Again Stephanie from the pecten ct. location has been extremely helpful from day one that I had moved in back Dec 2020. I was surprised to have seen her again since last time I saw was back 2020-2021. She has not failed to help me when I need help in getting into my storage unit and guiding me in getting another unit to move into. And today she had Sean help me find a new storage unit for me to move into at a better price. They we're both patiently helping me and explaining to me about its best that I should go with the deal I found online and that it will give me a week to move my belongings from one unit to the other.Thank you Stephanie and Sean for helping me today. Beware yall ! I like the place BUT just realized my rental rate went up a whole $58! Went from 170 to 213. No notice whatsoever, no courtesy call, no email notification, nothing ! And DO NOT BE LATE ON PAYMENTS, got a $31 late fee this month🤦‍♀️my first late fee out of the 5months I've been here and its $31. PS will literally make you run for your $.

First rate storage facility! I’ve rented at several storage facilities, including other Public Storages, but this one is the best. They have great monthly rates and I recently moved to an inside unit which is absolutely immaculate. Though I miss my old drive up unit, there are many advantages to the building they recently built from the ground up. I also recently had my keys stolen and management was able to help me gain access and get a new lock without having to pay a locksmith to come onsite. They had me into my unit and saved me a bunch of money. There’s also one staff member named Stephanie who goes above and beyond to keep the facility clean and tidy. I’ve even seen her cleaning up the sidewalks around the property which should be the city’s job. Top rate storage facility and staff!!

CLAUDIA is amazing!!!! One of the other stores no one was answering and there were 3 people waiting in front of me in line. CLAUDIA went out of her way to shut down her location and drive to the other location, to help us out. I have no idea why Public Storage lets us make reservation time slots for when no one is there at the location. If it weren't for CLAUDIA I would have left and found another company. CLAUDIA is bright, hard-working, and very knowledgeable about the services offered by Public Storage. Thank you very much for making me have what could have easily been a horrible time, into a great experience. I sincerely believe that CLAUDIA deserves to be promoted! I hope that CLAUDIA is given the recognition that she deserves! Thank you for helping me out with the $1 per month promotional deal and staying calm, CLAUDIA!

UPDATE. Great experience despite the initial impression. The staff was great and therfore this public storage gets 5 stars. Made a reservation online and confirmed by a call from the facility. On the day of moving in no one is in the office. My appointment was for 10am.. I arrived at 10:05am to find the office doors locked with door tag stating will return at 9:30am sign. I was in an uhual waiting for 1 hr before leaving.....

My Parents needed a storage and the girls in the main office gave us amazing service Bianca and Stephanie helped us decide on the size we really needed we were going to get a 10x20 but they explained to us that a 10x15 would fit our items just fine and would save us almost $40 a month ! She explained the e rental process which is a contactless rental and makes it easy to complete online it is amazing, we got our unit and we were happy to set up Auto Pay that way no payment is late. Property is very clean and looks NEW.Access hours work for us since we get off work early. She is kind and really friendly and made us feel welcomed she mentioned all the security features and was kind enough to help download the public storage app to make our access easy and manage our account. You cannot believe the Positive experience you will have when renting a unit here. Its super easy and streamlined that there’s absolutely no hardships to deal with. And the assistants at the main office will help you tremendously to make sure you satisfied your need to move a lot of your stuff out of your garage! Angel, the person that helped me personally was phenomenal. She was fun to talk to and easily understood what sort of unit I was looking for, as well as helping me through the process of Autopay and the new app access they have, making getting into the facility that much easy. This PS Location(s) are managed by incompetent people. They sent out late Entry and late Leaving the property but don’t even know that DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME as of 07Nov21 was already turned back by an hour in CALIFORNIA that same day they sent the email! This is a travesty and and misuse of IGNORANT power. And they want to raise rent by another $45 after they already raised it in 2020 when pandemic was in a a rage. BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Find another location or other Storage Service.

In my transition of moving the staff at Public Storage has helped the process run a little more smoothly. However, I MUST highlight one individual, her name is Stephanie. She was truly Heaven sent. Her heart to help us one particular evening made all the deference for our family. Her servants heart to go beyond what was expected of her, spoke volumes for me. Her kindness, professionalism is like no other. It's easy to see she loves what she does, cause her ACTIONS, speak of it. Stephanie was extremely helpful and informative manager. She gave me a tour and made sure I fully understood all of the expectations of renting a unit and was extremely professional. She helped me find a storage unit within the complex that suited my needs but they also made sure that I got an affordable rate on top of it all. Whenever I have a concern or question, she follows up in a very timely manner. That a reason why its my third time renting out a unit from this location and every time I find what I needed without compromising rate or location. Great place with great rates & services! The reason for the 5 stars review was because of the property manager, Stephanie. She is very accommodating and has a good customer service. She answers all questions and has the initiative to extend help when needed. This public storage is lucky to have her as the manager and part of the team. She builds good rapport to clients and always have a smile on her face. I will definitely comeback to get a storage unit in this place. Stephanie at public storage 1080 Pecten ct in Milpitas CA was extremely helpful. She arranged for us to pick up our stuff on the 1st of the month without charging us for the entire month. We paid just the pro-rata rent for a day which was just a couple of dollars. She worked with us to solve our problem as we couldn’t get a mover the day prior. Thank you Stephanie!

The site manager Stephanie was very helpful and made me feel welcomed. The size of my reservation ran out but she accommodated with a better choice. Without been asked, she automatically suggested the unit closest to the elevator. Highly recommended!

I've been with this storage place for about a year now and there prices are great the only down side is what time you have to be out of there which I believe is 6pm they really should let you in there until 10PM like most other public storage facilities

The office staff Darci is very friendly and helpful. When she knew that I already scheduled movers on Tuesday, she arranged a bigger size unit with same price as the one I reserved. She put my needs and concerns as her first priority. I like her working attitude and the way Of solving the problem. Give her five stars.

Nice and clean storage. I wish the keypad was on the driveway so did not have to get out of the car everytime but I guess it is what it is.

Not recommended this public storage. I would be happy to give under zero star to this public storage. Staffs are very irresponsible, and lazy. Elevators don't work properly, and we stock in elevator for more than 50 minutes without help. For 50 minutes we said help and the person who was responsible for help was saying; I could not hear anything!!!!!!!Ambulance and maintenance arrived after 50 minutes and we were almost going to be die. After I complaint about the issues to district manager he said use another elevator.

Bad service there are few carts, need keys for the carts but the staff, say they have no keys. And i asked if they have spare keys. They said talk to management.

Initially when we rented the storage unit, there was no key for us and it was a hassle to get one. We were on a super tight timeline and it was very inconvenient

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Their system to find a unit and get a reservation is flawless and professional. I had a reservation set for 8/26 at this location. I got an email on 8/26 that said i missed my move in date of 8/26...the day of my MOVE-IN DATE. I show up and the kiosk doesnt work but if you press the handicap button someone is called on the kiosk to go through the process. They did not have the unit, they had smaller units. One unit they did have was 15 minutes away and the cost went from $262 to $450 something. CRAZY. GLAD I DIDNT HAVE MY MOVING TRUCK WITH ALL MY STUFF AT THE DRIVEWAY. Called across the street at BAY ROCK STORAGE. Prices are less than 8% difference but amazing customer service and a reservation HOLDS YOUR UNIT SO ITS NOT GONE THE DAY OF MOVE IN! BAY ROCK FOR LIFE!

Not recommended. Staff are very rude, and irresponsible. They never help you. The employees at this location seriously have lack of customer service skills.

Access time reduced to 6 pm. Does not give promotion if existing customer without specifying that. Also no one picks up the call most of the time.

Nice ! Security seems tight. Need a code to get in,out, the elevator, the doors to get into common area... it was difficult moving stuff when u have to put your code in every time for each trip to and from your vehicle.

If you value anything that you store at public storage this is not the place for you!! They are having issues with not being able to protect any valuables in your storage unit as it seems it’s very easy to cut a lock off and take any items you may have in there. When you ask for any footage of who may have stolen it, I was informed they will not release it, even to the officer who came down to investigate the issue. Public storage shame on you and definitely shame on your employees!!

Mackey helped my friend set up his account and do a rental online as he could not be present to rent to unit.we had to place something in the unit for him. She was very helpful and went above and beyond.

I've been a customer for about a year now. I had reserved a unit next to my current unit to move into to lower my monthly payment because prices have changed drastically online a few months ago. I went in to complete my move and I was helped by Nicole. I won't forget her because she has a horrible attitude and had blood shot red eyes. She made the process extremely difficult for no reason. She may need more training on customer service.

Discourteous, rude, and also poorly informed staff. There seems to be a new hire by the name Nicole who should not be in the customer service or hospitality business - not sure if such brazenly rude and incompetent agents go through an interview process before getting hired. What a terrible experience.

Can't access after 6pm, watch out for insurance fee add on were not on the reservation. They also change admin fee $24. A lot hidden fee....

My husband and I entered into a rental agreement on that day we visited to this office to look around some storages on site. Stephenie, a hardworking staff we met there, gave us a detailed explanation about each storage we were interested in. The office manager also provided necessary information to our inquiries with professional manner. Our experience with this office was overall great!

I found this location from google and visited a couple of times before I made decision. Mackey and Jennifer helped me. They were nice and helpful and professional. They presented me all information I needed. There is one thing I think PS should improve. I was shown a 3rd floor unit and I did not realize it until I have signed the lease. Then I asked to transfer to a 2nd floor unit. This change will not honor my reservation price, which I think it should. Anyway I still would like to rank this location as 5-star. Thanks!

Front desk clerks bad service

We showed up with a fairly intensive need to move a lot of stuff into storage fairly quickly and the team of Liz and Jennifer took such great care of us. They gave us a thorough introduction to the facility, excellent advice, and they made sure we had the materials we needed. I've never had such good service at a storage facility and absolutely recommend this location! Thank you Liz and Jennifer for making that miserable rainy day a lot brighter and warmer!!

Went to public storage this morning after stressing all week looking for a great place to store my belongings and luckily I came across public storage online, came in and was greeted with the best costumer service by Liz and Jennifer. Liz drove us around in the cart because I couldn’t make my mind up, until we finally found the perfect storage! I would most definitely recommend this place. There are atleast 3 different public storages right next to each other and another storage company across the street. I chose this facility (1080 Pecton ct, Milpitas) for these reasons. 1. climate controlled. 2. Newly build and 3. Awesome service by Tanya. The manager Mackey is friendly too.

After being shown around and registered for my first time here at Public Storage, I showed up right around shutdown time on two days and was given access to be able to store my stuff. Staff was extremely kind, helpful, and understanding. Facility is clean and secure. System for checking out and returning keys for carts is very quick and useful. Would definitely recommend to others!
