My family has rented here for years, and it’s been a great solution for extra storage space. Today, I noticed for the second time the walls in my unit looked damaged, so I went to the office for assistance. Jocelyn was very helpful. My families stuff was stolen here after 4 years. They sale scam insurance which they own Theyy have no camera surveillance or Security guards. The police who took the report when my 89 year old disabled mother in laws stuff was stolen said this is a common occurrence here. If the lock is picked the insurance is worthless! Beware!!!

I have had a few different public storage locations, but this small public storage in Los Alamitos is by far the most friendly location. Jocelyn got us set up in two units for our move, and has just been a truly awesome. She's always around for help at the facility, and has answered all of our questions. Definitely will tell anyone looking for a unit in the area.

Carts are never out where you can use them, and they removed all the door handles to access the facility on the first floor except for one in the far corner and will not provide a stop to prop the other doors open while you load/unload your items. This means you need to walk all the way around the long way through the entire facility to open and close the door nearest your unit for each item you carry in and out. I pay extra for a unit on the first floor but the second and third floors have direct parking lot access to multiple elevators and do not have this problem and are literally easier to access. Being on the first floor is significantly less convenient than when I signed up and had easy access to my unit and carts available all day to help load. Of course price was not adjusted to reflect any of this. Edit: Wow, I realize after posting this review the price was adjusted UPWARDS by 20% overnight (around the time they removed the door handles) with absolutely no notice. No email. No call. No text. Autopay was a mistake. Absolutely ridiculous. Revised to one star.

After having some difficulties finding a storage space for my trailer, I came upon this PS location, and the manager Jocelyn went above and beyond to not only secure my spot, but also made sure I was comfortable backing in and parking. Securing a storage unit was very easy and straight forward process. Deborah (the woman who helped me) was amazing. She was very kind and polite. She knew the process very well and she gave me great advice helping make the process smooth. The price I got on the unit was great.

Whole site is very clean, recently upgraded elevators, safe area, excellent on site customer service. My unit was broken into late last year, on a Sunday when it was open for business. Security could be a lot better, will vacate unit soon for good.

Had my stuff here for a little over a year, had no issues whatsoever.... the customer service here is really above standard specifically an employee named Debra who went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get a move out date in the correct time frame that work with my schedule without having to pay for an additional month.... Diana over the phone was so easy and helpful with finding me a location and space for my specific needs! Then Tina the MGR at this location was so quick and helpful to speak to me over the phone, show me the space, make SUPER helpful suggestions regarding the space and things I might need. Property seemed clean and organized, Staff was nice and helpful.

Price has gone up twice since I've began using this location as a storage unit. It was the perfect rate before, but the new hikes seem unnecessary, especially for a unit as small as mine. But the staff is exceptionally accommodating and welcoming, and the ease of use here is second to none. Price hikes are the only reason for three stars. In every other way, this is a great storage facility.

CAUTION!! Illegal practices!! This place did what is called “targeting” and sold my life without ANY notification! Over 40 years of my items were illegally targeted and sold. They lie and lie about doing things legally. They WILL be sued and they WILL lose as I have more than enough proof of their illegal ways. DO NOT USE PUBLIC STORAGE!!

Tracy has been good in all aspects on client satisfaction , she always has a smile on her face and willing to help.

I was in a very desperate situation and needed to store my things. I looked online and chose to take a look at your facility. I got there as she was unlocking the door. She greeted me so sincerely. She gladly showed me a few different sizes and I chose the one I needed. Tracy and I filled out the paperwork, she asked me if I needed a lock and I did, she asked if I needed the humidifier tub and I did. She was not pushy but these are things we don't think of. She went over everything with me. I moved my things the next day and there was Tracy's happy face, got me a cart. There is nothing more stressful than moving... and when you have a cheerful, helpful employee treating you like a friend it makes all the difference. BREAK-IN ALERT! One of the most unsafe facilities to store your belongings. Our 10x10 unit was broken into and the facility has no information on the person responsible. Their security camera captured a person of interest on the night of the incident, but the regional manager failed to investigate, file a report or even notify the police. We were told that we had to come in and deal with it ourselves by filing a police report, but unfortunately we are out of state so recovering our stuff is becoming less and less likely with everyday that goes by. Now there is no record other than some “internal notes” according to their management. No help or cooperation from Public Storage or it’s Regional Manager was offered and no incident report was provided so we are completely in the dark. On top of everything, our rent has gone from $120 to an outrageous $200 in the first 12 months. So now we are paying $200/Mo and do not know if our stuff is still there on not. Public Storage has been a huge disappointment and we would not recommend it if you value your belongings.

Roaches is what you will get and rat poop in your boxes if not a actual rat! Place is dirty ceilings are falling down and yet they raise the price! For what? The halls are filthy elevator always breaks down and public storage doesn’t care $$$ is what they are worried about. They try to make you buy the lock but you can bring your own and you doing have to buy there insurance they say you do buy you can have your own home insurance cover it!

Clean, quiet facility. All the employees there are always really nice. I especially appreciate how nice they are to my elderly, disabled Mom who refuses to pay online and wants to pay in person every time haha. I recently had the task of consolidating 2 units into 1 so I was there on all my days off for 3 weeks in a row and Jenn was especially helpful and friendly. I got to witness multiple customers giving her horrible attitudes for dumb reasons and she always kept her cool and maintained a smile. Props to her for that! I have no complaints about this place.

Just recently got a storage area and everything went smoothly. Jennifer helped me get up and running fast and explained the ins and outs of the facility, and patiently answered every question I had. If you have a chance to work with Jennifer, ask for her when you sign up. As for the building, I really like the location and the ease of access (plenty of parking, light traffic, nice neighborhood, and very good monthly rate!) So far so good, thanks Jennifer!

I've had storage units here for years. When I tried to move out the elevator broke. My movers will have to return another day and PS charges for an entire additional month rent! The ceiling is falling down onto my stuff in all the units. Extra Space Storage is MUCH nicer!

This is a great facility, in one of Orange County’s safest cities. It is clean, well maintained, and there are a couple of exceptionally competent and helpful employees as well. Storage facilities aren’t really known for having the most cheerful workers to interact with, but at this one, there is a woman named Jenn who is absolute perfection when it comes to customer service. I highly recommend this facility, and when you set your appointment, try and make it when Jenn is here. Otherwise, you may be disappointed. They have some degenerates that are from other Public Storage facilities filling in there quite often. I’d look for Jenn or Jorge for a tour.

We have used your public storage property number 20184 and Jennifer has helped us and been so kind. She will go above and beyond to do whatever you need and the whole time with a smile and very calm. I would recommend year for Sellitti to anyone who needs is a storage unit but especially because Jennifer is there to help. You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful employee.

I booked a unit on line and then I had to change the date. I called and talked to Edward and he was very friendly and helpful. I went in to finish up renting my storage unit and Edward showed me the unit and it was clean and large enough for all my items.

Used public storage for 3 month and it was great. All staff was super friendly and helpful. The unit was very clean and even though it was on the 2nd floor still easy getting couches up there .

First time there, Amparo was at the desk. She was very kind and helpful. She was there by herself but handled everyone very swiftly. When she was done helping me she asked if i had any questions. I said no, because she covered everything. You are very lucky to have her.

This is an excellent facility. Very orderly and in a great neighborhood. Jorge took me through the rental process in minutes and was helpful with everything during the move in. Recommended.

I had never rented a storage unit before and was not sure what I needed but Alex was very patient and helpful and took his time explaining my options. I did not feel pressured and I also did not feel rushed to leave if you need a storage unit in this area I recommend this location.

I came into public storage a few days ago. This was my first time using a storage facility. Alex was very helpful and knowledgeable explaining prices and the best size that will work for me. Alex got me the supplies that I needed to protect all my glass items. He also helped protect it for me and with our moving supplies was so good that all my stuff fit perfectly in the unit he recommended :)

If one took the time to evaluate all the public storage offerings in northern Orange County, the facilities that would come up at the top of most people’s list are Public Storage. Being the biggest doesn’t always translate to being the best in any business segment, but it does apply to Public Storage, especially to the Los Alamitos Public Storage facility at 3752 W. Cerritos Avenue. The Property Manager there, Alex, is a long-time staple and the tenants renting there, including myself, are glad Alex runs a “tight ship” while being knowledgeable, polite, and offering assistance whenever asked. Alex makes certain the facility is always clean and functioning properly (like the light fixtures that provide excellent illumination in all hallways). A key feature of this Public Storage facility that is most important for new upper-level tenants are two very spacious freight elevators that make moving-in quick and easy. And you’ll never encounter difficulty parking vehicles, even large trucks, in the ample parking lot. It’s easy to rate this place 10 out of 10. ~Bob

If I could give zero stars I would. He started out with attitude and kept it the whoe entire time. Poor quality service and skill, big head attendant couldnt even do his job right. Wouldn't accept the lock, then tried to buy one and pulled an attitude. Maybe its it's just on black customers, haven't felt this discriminated since the 70s.

I went into public storage to get general information on renting a space from your company. I Was met at the door by your employee Alex. He was helpful and gave me some information on the products you offer.

I'm not one to ever submit reviews on businesses I visit but the customer service provided by Alex was above and beyond any expectations I had for a public storage facility. My mother recently moved in with me and she had certain furniture pieces that let's just say went out of style in the early 1900's.. I asked that she sell the furniture but she refused and was willing to compromise with me if I found a nice,clean and safe facility were she could store her "gems". The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a warm smile by the name of Alex. I asked several questions about the unit. Alex answered all my questions and assured myself and my mother that her items will be safe and kept in tact! He even made my mom laugh with a polite joke about her antiques! I highly recommend this PS and will be going there for all my storage and moving needs. It was such a pleasant experience I even asked if they were willing to store me! I'd live there!
