I am non-verbal due to a stroke, and social interactions can often be stressful for me. Denise made the entire rental process comfortable, smooth, and genuinely pleasant. Her friendly and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. She is patient, understanding, and goes out of her way to make sure customers feel supported.

I have had several wonderful experiences with the Public Storage staff at 22221 Hathaway Ave. Hayward, CA 94541. Not only is this a convenient location that is walking distance from my home but also is a very clean, well kept, temperature controlled facility. Whenever I have needed additional storage or needed to upsize to a larger unit, the staff really came through for me, always helping me to try and get the most affordable rent possible. I would especially like to recognize Denise, Iliyah, and Dan for all their help dealing with insurance claim questions and information, gate code issues, and helping me with move-in/move out processing and procedures ever since I have been a customer at this location beginning in December 2024. I've had a storage here for over 3 years now and I can truly say they have helped me out alot from months that I was late and had auto pay turned off they would call multiple times just to make sure that I dont get charged extra for late fees. Also the new manager I forgot her name is very nice and helping. Only down side to this place is that it closes at 6pm now rather then 9pm before.

First I would like to Thank Denise for not only having excellent customer service but taking the time as well as going above and beyond her job to make sure my needs were heard and met. Denise made the entire process smooth and easy while providing me with a unit that fit my needs. There are always great promotions going on and even if you have to store longer than a month it’s worth it. This area is not the best and in recent years has gotten worse but rest assured if you choose to store your valuable possessions here they will not only be safe but kept clean as well with a zero tolerance for none sense and harassment of any kind. My belongings were the same way as I left them and the facility was always clean. They offer 5 heavy duty metal rolling carts that made the process even easier. I would definitely recommend them.
Denise as well as other staff gone above and beyond to not only keep it clean but functional on a holistical level. If I ever needed any thing in regards to my unit they made sure I was taken care and more. Which I realy appreciate the communication and my things being cared for as if their own. So I hope this review helps any one as yes I would recommend this facility and its location.

Okay, I gotta write a review. This one is, for Denise, 5 stars. They used to be open till 9 PM now. They're only open till 6 and I forgot about the new hours and when I look at my phone it was 10 minutes to 6 so I rushed to get everything back inside my unit and
I got out by 6. But stupid me when I got to my truck. I realized I forgot my keys back at my store unit, and she was nice. Enough to let me back up to grab Em. What a lifesaver. Thank you so much, Denise.

I had spaces at other locations at one point and moved all of my stuff in to her location even though it is one of the worst setups ever but to be fair I know it was not built as a PS unit so PS cant change that without a total tear down and no one would do that.so Nicole makes the best out a silly problem.. The place is kept clean and when something is not working she is on it ASAP as I said you guys need one like her at all locations.I would tell anyone to go to her location. I came here for a storage unit and turns out the one I had was way too small and in an inconvenient location, Chris, the DM helped me by showing me diff units, pricing, took the time to listen to my needs for a unit. I’m usually pretty disappointed when I come to public storage places because there’s hardly anybody ever there at the front desk but today when I needed it most I came to the desk and Nicole and Marvin were readily available to assist me in finding the right size box. I had been at my storage unit for over an hour alone getting things out of my unit . I noticed after I had already put everything back I didn’t see my lock . I opened my storage back up and it wasn’t anywhere in site . I was not about to take all that stuff back down looking for a lock so I noticed it had just hit closing time . 3/3/23 I came into Public Storage to rent a storage unit. The customer service that the team member provided me with and even walking through the process of showing me a unit to get me ready for renting a unit when I move was great service. The team members have great understanding and a lot of patience, ☺️. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this location that is on Hathaway Ave on the corner of A" street, it's in a very good location across the street from Costco and right next door to a tire shop. They provide you with great customer service and very helpful.

The store manager at this location was amazing. Moving is very stressful for me, but finishing up my unit registration and moving my stuff in was the easiest part. She was very attentive, answered all my question, and nice!

10/10, I was working with Jasmine and Chelsea who were extremely helpful in figuring out a cost-effective and flexible solution to helping relocate quite a few things.
5 stars for Marvin who helped my mom and I find a unit here at this location. He was very informative, helpful and went above and beyond to check off all the needs/wants we were looking for in a unit. Marvin was very patient, friendly, and called me back in a timely manner when I left a message regarding the reservation we placed. But just a heads up, the loading zone/area can get busy and tight because there's not a lot of space. You might get stuck if a car is parked behind you.

Clean, accessible, secure. Manager Tristan was very knowledgeable, polite, helpful to explain and answer all my questions. He took the time to show us the storage units and guided us through the application process. We completed everything and we were out the door in less than 30 mins. Great initial experience!

The property manager Shareefa was excellent. I have the best experience while renting a storage space. Gina and Shareefa customer service was great very knowledgeable and professional she made sure that I knew exactly how to access the property step by step. What stood out most about her is care to manage the property her sentimental words as I thanked her for her help and complimented her on her customer service was “because people lives are in here” which is so true. The compassion she has for being the property manager is excellent. I noticed the training she gave Gina as well to make sure Gina knew the system. She offered me services to make my life better. I wish her all the best for helping me through this transition.

Elevators were out and my unit is on the top floor. Shareefa (possibly spelled wrong, sorry) walked up the stairs with me to open the door and for that I am grateful.
