I rented a unit from here and signed a lease. Going on the fifth month now they sent an email saying they are increasing the rent 55
dollars a month. Roughly a 33 percent increase. Trash company. I will be moving my stuff soon.
The property manager is never available. Appointments only, but 80% of the time, she does not even show up. She does not answer phone calls to the property and has never returned a phone call that I have made to her in the last year of renting. Tried to transfer a space. She would t answer, and so I tried to figure it out. They won't refund or credit my account so that i can transfer to the proper space after a (yes my fault but still) mess up trying to navigate the site and app for a space transfer and ended up doing it incorrectly. I wish I had something nicer to say.

Excellent customer service
Nice facility, however there are homeless drug addicts that live in the units. Some will even wait for someone to open the elevator then follow you in. Management doesn’t seem to notice or care.
Id like to start with Gail, she stays on top of everything making sure that me and my girlfriend are well taken care of as we are experiencing a huge change in our living situation. Making sure we are safe with our things and even going above and beyond to help us when she has the ability to do so. She is very on top of it when it comes to making her rounds to her customers and she is efficient. We will definitely recommend our friends and family to her there at Public storage.

Price looks good at first at $134 but quickly jumped up to $330 from in the span of 2 months for a 10x15, and we're constantly harassed and threatened with all of our stuff going to auction and cut my lock and forced me to drive across state all while struggling to pay the increase and having to move across and out of state, all the late fees added up $580, when they re-painted the units everything about 2ft in got covered with dirt and overspray and they're insurance didn't want to replace anything that got ruined, lotta baby stuff, 2 gaming computers and a dresser that is worthless now lol,
If you have to find something last minute find something else.
Incredibly frustrated - I used this facility for a few months while we were preparing to sell our house. After the house sold, within three months of having rented the storage unit, I called the corporate main line (because no one ever answers the site phone) and notified them that we were emptying the unit and would be out before the next months rent (at a $30 price hike) would be due. They said great, thanks for letting us know and we emptied the unit and went on our way.
I received an email when I didn't pay the next month, but when I tried to call the facility, no one answered and I left a voicemail for the manager. After receiving another email stating I was late, again I called and left a voicemail. After leaving a total of three voicemails, I finally received a call back from the manager who was very hostile. When I explained I had reached out to their 1-800 corporate number and gave them notice, the manager said that was insufficient and that she would tell corporate and see if they would be willing to waive the storage fee for the month.
I didn't receive any more bills, phone calls, emails or any form of contact until today when I received a bill from a debt collector. Extremely poor customer service and communication. I do not recommend either this facility or Public Storage. do yourself a favour and use one of the other millions of storage unit places - guaranteed they will have better customer service than this one!
I registered and set up rental online. I received prompt confirmation and code and key worked properly.

Gale(or Gail? Hope I am getting right) was such a big help with everything. She was incredibly fast and even went above and beyond with helping me with how the lock worked and how to place it correctly.

Bathroom is always locked. Tiny dumpster is not easily accessible. Had issues with billing after our last month there. Minimal staff involvement, could be more present and helpful.

I have been searching to find a good place to store some home items and Public Storage came up with the highest reviews. I called and spoke with Gail. She was so patient with me and answered all my questions. I scheduled a tour the same day and when I arrived Gail was behind the counter. She was super helpful and gave a great tour to see all the unit sizes we requested to view. She was patient with all of our questions and explained the several rules they have for the storage units. Needless to say, I rented out the unit I saw today and Gail took the time to help me download the app and got me situated. I left with peace of mind and it was all thanks to Gail’s great customer service. Thank you.

10x15 unit for 232.00. Typical but this one had an 8 foot gap to the outside at ground level and THEY DONT EVEN HAVE LIGHTING! Bring a flashlight??? Really?? We were told "we don't replace lightbulbs anymore so don't know if the light works.

This place is amazing they help me out in my time of need. Their associate Gail was kind courteous and very thoughtful I so appreciate all the effort she put into her job today. She definitely deserves a raise.
Rented a unit online, on a I called and spoke to a CSR and was told that I didn't have to see or speak to anybody in person and that I can rent 100% online. I packed up everything moved over from Vancouver to Gresham and when I got to the storage unit my gate code didn't work I had to go in and see the manager. Once I spoke with the manager the next day after she verified my ID, I was told that there was going to be a lock in my unit. I get to the storage unit again and I opened the door only to find that there was no lock.
We was today was closed. After call and waiting 20 minutes manager came, without any apology said that she was in the bank. Ok, it is happeneds. After she said someone has already taken your auction more expensive than you, call and sort it out yourself, but I had all information and invoice of auction on my hand. To which I insisted that she call her boss herself and find out what was happening. After that she said it was mistake and you have nothing that the money would be returned to you within a certain period of time, she didn’t exactly say so, again without apologizing, as if these were all the problems because of me. We visited many storages of this company in many other states, but only here it was the worst. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I have to here. maybe this will help someone.

Gail at the location on 99th and Mill Plain in Vancouver, Wa.was and IS absolutely wonderful! She took time with me to make sure I got the unit that best suited my needs. Even made sure it was clean and swept out for me. She went over everything with me to make sure there were no surprises, not to mention I'm actually saving over $500 a month by using Public Storage! Gail was very clear and made it simple and understandable. Just made it easy and she's so pleasant she made my day better by just taking with her. So, Thank you Gail.

Wish they were open longer hours. Semi picky on the evening closing time. Calls to complain the following morning about my departure timing being 5 prior to closing. If you want close at 855pm fine but if you’re open till 9 be sure do so with clear public notice or personal service to current contracts or something my bad for cutting it so close. It’s disturbing that although I was within property/contract hours of operation that there was a complaint at all.
