I had a relatively good first impression of this 3 story Public Storage location. The condition of the store was upkept well very clean and organized. Upon arrival, we patiently waited for someone to come assist us at the front counter for a good 15 min. I will say that the associate who helped us was named Tracy. She was friendly, personable, helpful, and provided good customer service. I like the fact that you can access it by using an app from your phone, which makes it more convenient. I recommend this place for anyone in need of a storage facility.

I reserved and paid over $200 to reserve a storage unit. Nobody was in the office when I arrived to pick up my lock. I did not receive the access information via text (as my confirmation email promised) that I was supposed to, and my app/gate access code didn't work. I sat in the parking lot with two loaded trucks trying desperately to get help via the customer service numbers... but to no avail. Thankfully, the office staff eventually returned and were able to cancel my reservation.

Tracey helped me. And she was so helpful on tryin to get my rent lowered and get me moved into the right size unit and took her time to make sure I understood. She was very attentive. !!!

UPDATE: Tracey with Public Storage gave me a call Monday 04/17/2023 and she informed me that they are getting more carts in and they have address the rate at my unit. Happy with the changes and I have changed the review. Thank you!! The price for my storage unit keeps going up and up. No access to the dumpsters. You have to haul your trash with you. Every time you go you need to hunt down a cart.

This facility used to be functional in terms that you would always have access to at least one flatbed cart no matter day or the month. I understand if there were moving trucks in the lot, I wouldn’t be able to get a cart because those movers always hold onto 2-3 carts at a time. Over the past fee months, the carts have disappeared even on days when I am the only customer parked in the secured lot. Today when I pulled into the facility, I was the only vehicle there. I needed to unload about 8 large storage totes but I could not find a cart. Because of my past experience I’ve learned to carry my folding dolly in my vehicle but it could only hold 2-3 totes at a time. For the amount I pay a month (another issue i have - they have increased the rental price every few months since I initially opened a unit) I expect to have the convenience of the flatbed cart to maneuver through this multi level facility. I DO NOT recommend this facility or company.

This is the first time that I have rented a storage unit and I am very satisfied. I visit about once a month. It is always clean. We have an air controlled unit and the temp is always within a comfortable range. The only issue that I have had is once I didn't have a cart to use.

Joileeta has helped me on multiple occasions. She is truly the best!!! Always so positive and helpful. Truly a blessing.

There was a rude customer there, that did not want to give us a dolly. He was walking towards my husband like he was going to hit him. We tried to explain to him he could only use one if there were other customers. He said he never heard that. Signs should be posted stating that. Maybe someone should be there until closing. Definitely post it on the walls. The facility itself is fine.

They deceive customers, they offered me a supposedly indefinite price and after 3 months they changed it without warning, when making the claim they were very rude, they increased my monthly price by 250%

Talk about coming through in a pinch. Self storage in spring had everything ready for me when I made my reservations online. Even went over the same night that I made my reservation and the prices were excellent. Thank you so much.

Awful confusing place. Front office doors locked, called customer service takes forever to answer. Second rep was rude and condescending. Lock came completely out of the door socket when accessing unit. Doors not clearly marked on wall maps. This place is like the maze at the end of The Shining. Thankfully another customer named Joe helped me and my 82 year old mother. Do not use this facility.

My stuff was safe and secure but I didn’t like that they increase your rent by telling you through snail mail. Everything else they send texts and emails but for some reason rate increases are not. Wonder why? It’s a terrible way to treat your customers and me no like.

Estuve llamando al número que estaba en la puerta y nunca respondieron, Llame a servicio al cliente, y solo dijeron que sentían el inconveniente. Yo tuve que pagar a la compañía que me mudo todo ese tiempo, que ellos no estuvieron para atenderme. Tuve que dejar mi mudanza en el camión y hacerlo al otro día. Y la actitud del personal fue muy desagradable la señorita fue grosera, venía a cada rato a decir algo diferente.

I have three storage that I have rented on three separate occasions with Joiletta. Joileeta has helped me and her customer service is excellent and she is very courteous. I have nothing bad to say, only exceptional service. She helped me find the best location and the right price to fit my needs.

The initial rates provided were competitive, but then they consistently raise them. All rates increase which I understand, but this month, my rate more than doubled... in one month! I have written customer service as this must be an error. I have not heard back yet.

Been with this particular Public Storage for around 2-3 years. Was very happy with the rates at first, but I have seen at least 3 rate increases over the past 2 years. I understand that rates must increase as demand gets higher, but 60% increase in 2 years...that's robbery. I will be moving my unit in the near future. Update: I received a voicemail regarding my review. Updating to 3 stars due to the effort in making me a satisfied customer.

It's a storage facility. The nice thing about this is it is mostly climate controlled units, which is nice in this Texas heat.

The property manager Joileeta is very professional and knowledgeable. She walked me through the different units that were available and even showed me so that I could get a better comfort level of the storage unit I needed. She is very patient and helpful. The facility is well maintained with easy access to the Grand Parkway. I feel comfortable storing my items at this location because you must enter your access code a few times to access your unit.

It’s frustrating how much you pay each month yet there are always Zero carts available. People in groups always take the only 2 available then get mad when you ask for 1. I mean seriously as much money as this company makes you could please GET MORE THAN 2 Carts per door!!!! It’s ridiculous to have this many units and not enough carts even extras space had 4 per door y’all can at least do that much......

Super nice facility. But not worth the high rates you pay since there are literally never any carts. In the beginning there were plenty of carts all the time. Lately if you come during the day you have to get in a line to wait for a cart.(45+min) Now there are just none. Seems like since they've been open the rate continues to go up and the number of carts seem to go down. I guess this is a sign for me to move on. Its 7:45pm and no one else is here. Who's using the carts?

I posted about our ongoing mold problem at the 99 Grand Parkway location on here and my review is not here anymore. I’m seeing a lot of reviews that were not here 2 months ago. Customers beware!! This location had severe mold problems for months and we got the runaround for months. One of the employees was honest and we contacted the district manager Josh who had the worst Customer Service I’ve ever experienced . He basically lied over and over and refuse to admit there was a problem. 6 months later we received a letter down playing the problem and when we went to have our times clean, they told us they didn’t have enough time to do all of our items. We again contacted the district manger Josh and he was useless. We took our concerns to Better business bureau and filed a compliant. We received a phone call today basically saying look at your contract we aren’t liable!! This is the worst Company ever. If you look on BBB you will see a ton of complaints! My suggestion is move your stuff and do not rent from Public Storage. I know more people have had this issues at this location and I do not see their review anymore.

Myself along with others have had mold issues to which Public Storage employees just shrug their shoulders and try to sell you a a dehumidifier for $10. There is never any carts to move your stuff in. Again employees just shrug their shoulders and say too bad, not my problem. My rent has been raised TWICE since I moved in. When I asked about the obvious issues I was told “let us you when you move out”. How this place has so many good reviews on here really makes me wonder. STAY AWAY!

Great Service!! My second time coming back.

While I like the location, I think the negative issues are: -Not enough moving carts, if you pull in the lot and there are two cars or a moving truck you are out of luck, limited dollies. -There are no security cameras on the floors. -They don’t advertise that you need to buy another $15 insurance policy until you sign for a spot. -The spaces are not super secure, people can look in your spaces with a camera on a stick. The ‘ceilings’ of the spaces basically have wire on the top, not really enclosed.

The ac is absolutely wonderful in Houston summertime.

Absolutely 100% hands down the BEST service I’ve ever received. Joileeta and Alex were not only helpful, they were accommodating and both of them went above and beyond to answer my questions, to make sure I had everything I needed, and they even checked on me periodically while I was loading my unit by myself. As a female alone, normally that would be risky, or at least uncomfortable, but the security measures are phenomenal. At no time did I ever feel nervous or ill at ease. The building is clean and tidy. The restrooms are clean, easily accessible, and “user friendly” (lol) There aren’t the “normal” bugs you’d usually see at other storage facilities. I honestly cannot possibly rave enough about the facility, the employees, and the security. Even after we moved across town, we still use this particular Public Storage BECAUSE of Joileeta and Alex. There is no where else I will ever use as storage. Anywhere else you go will be a waste of time and energy. This is the most high quality facility you’ll ever find.

This is a huge facility, clean, and well lighted (even the restrooms!). Everything is very secure, since you are required to use your personal security code at every point of access. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Joileeta was a pleasure to work with. My only complaint is with corporate, for quoting a move-in total cost that didn't include the cost of the lock you are required to buy from them or the required insurance.

I worked with Micah on my storage lease. She was professional and efficient in completing the formalities to get me going. The facility is in GREAT condition even down to the bathrooms being spotless.

Unfortunately I did not agree to rent here due to the strong aroma of what smelled like mold while in the rental office BUT the ladies in the office were amazing. Very sweet and understanding. I believe their names were Tisha and Joy? *sorry if I’m wrong*. (I meant to do this review weeks ago. I apologize) I’m only giving 4 stars because of the mold smell. The young ladies deserve 10 stars. I’ll be back in a week in hopes that the smell is gone so I can actually rent the unit I need.

Don’t be fooled by all of the positive reviews - they are from the day people sign up for their unit. The staff is great, but the facility is TERRIBLE. The keypad to leave the facility was out of commission for nearly two months, so you had to use the pedestrian gate to input your code in the outer gate keypad. One do the elevators is ALWAYS broken - which means when you are paying movers by the hour - you’re paying extra because of Public Storage not maintaining the facility. The WORST part? It is NOT climate controlled. I understand that this is Texas and controlling the temperature isn’t the easiest thing, but the humidity in the facility is outrageous.

Tiana was a great help! She was very helpful, great attitude and got us in and out quickly. The facility is very clean and well lit. We got a great price on our monthly rate. Highly recommend!

I showed up unannounced and a few days before my scheduled appointment hoping someone would still be able to assist me. Tracy greeted me when i walked in, went over all of my options, showed my different units to make sure i made the right decision. She also went over the entire contract, insurance options, and demonstrated and offered supplies that might make my move easier. If you need assistance at this Public Storage facility, be sure to ask for Tracy, and you will receive exceptional customer service just like i did!

Thank you Tesha and Christa for going the extra mile. Moving day was a disaster! AB Moving & Relocation Ended up breaking several Boxes labeled fragile.. There was glass all over the place. They refused to go back to our house to load up the remainder of our items.. They left our couches washer and dryer and refrigerators. So I had no other choice but to hire a complete new moving company to Finish moving us into public storage. The ladies at the front counter were so kind to me they saw what I was going through And offered their assistance. They also found me a new moving company To finish our move that same night.

We already have a storage unit at this facility but we need another one. When we walked in, Tracey and Mary greeted us with very friendly smiles and offered assistance. Tracey suggested looking at 2 units that are close to our existing unit and we took one. Both ladies were very friendly and answered all the questions we had.

Pacey was great and made the experience so easy and quick. Facility is new and super clean. Plus it’s extremely secure! Definitely check it out if you need storage!

Today we rented at Public Storage and had a wonderful experience with Pacey. It was my first time renting a storage unit and was so pleasently surprised! The facility was clean, brand new, and well lit. Everything was explained to us very clearly and knew exactly what are fees were and when they are due!

Very nice and clean facility. Shout out to Tracy and Angelica for making the rental process quick and easy. The only con would be the use of a cylinder locking system which cost an extra $20 so for any previous storage renters, you can't bring your own lock without purchasing theirs.

I stopped in to Public Storage to complete my reservation and pick up my key. Angelica at the front desk was very helpful in showing us our unit and getting us through a speedy checkout. Great service!

Nicole was very friendly and quickly set up my account. The facility is very clean and very secure with key codes being required at the main gate, entry door, and elevators.

Buyer beware is right. We choose this location because it was new and clean. They had great move in specials over the summer. We asked about the rent increases and was told it was the same rate your entire stay here. That's their pitch! Same rate! Well after only 4 months our rate went from $130 to $180! That's an extra $600 per year. Terrible way to get customers in the door and when you call customer service they just quote your rental agreement language saying it can change each month. Bait & Switch!

Long term business owner, moved in to two large units and the location is clean and well maintained. Tesha helped me along the way and walked me thru the rental agreement very nicely. Above and beyond service all the way.

The facility is nice and clean, easy to access from 99. Nicole and Teasha were great! So very professional! Teasha took time to show me two units, didn't laugh when I took photos (and a video) to show my folks, and when I returned with my mom, Nicole repeated the whole process again. Thank you ladies!!!

Buyer beware! While my first impressions of this Public Storage was excellent, I found out they were not forthcoming. The rate for this new location was very good. I chose this location mainly because of that. I asked them if this was a limited time offer, and they said it was their normal price. I also asked how often they raised their prices and they said rarely. So after only 4 months in their location, they increased their price by 20% which adds up to $216 more per year. I could see a 5% or maybe 10% increase, but this was intended to lure people in with a great price. Once moved it, they then jack the price up knowing how painful and costly it would be to move to another storage facility. I think this is very underhanded and not a good way to conduct business.

We needed a storage unit to get ready for our upcoming baby and to store our guest room things, we came in Sunday 30 minutes before closing time and Christine was very very helpful! Her customer service was awesome and she was very knowledgeable of the facility!

The facility is great but the customer service is terrible. I had two units here and moved out of one a month earlier than other. I moved out of the first unit on the 30th of June but was told I needed to bring the key in which I was not able to do until July 2nd due to hurting my back during moving. I was still charged for the month of July because I returned the key past the first of the month. I spoke to the ladies at the front and was told three times they would get with their general manager. I was trying to at least get half back for something I wasn’t occupying. Never got a response and when bringing it up again the lady got a major attitude with me. Well, I get the items out of my other unit before the end of July and without notifying the ladies at the front, they call me the next day asking me if I moved out of my unit. I confirm I did and said I would bring the key before the end of July so I wasn’t charged another month, but was told that I didn’t need to bring the key in. This is the opposite of what I was told on my first unit in which I paid for a month I didn’t use and no one would call me back to get a resolution to. I got scammed and will never use this company again.

MOLD AND MILDEW Had my furniture at this location for a 4 months, when we pulled it out, we start to notice that there was mold and mildew all over our furniture. The staff didnt want to help and the insurance only wanted to give 250.00 to help. Had over 4000.00 worth of Damage. BEWARE.
