This is a clean and well maintained premises. The gate opens and (most importantly) closes as it should. The on-site manager is very helpful. Keri did a great job of explaining how the facility operates, she streamlined the account sign-up process, and she even helped me set up the app on my phone!

Ja, the property manager at West Avenue, was a tremendous help in making sure. We got a second unit. When we found out, we needed more space and helped switch one of our units into a climate control6 unit. When we found out a mistake was made very helpful young man, great facility. Great personnel.

i got robbed here COME TO FIND OUT it was the ghetto lady from self storage and her boyfriend???? THEY STOLE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of stuff and i no longer own anything of value. YEARS of collecting vinyls and it was all gone in an instant. not to mention my unit was one of many NOT under a camera. they only have like TWO cameras facing units inside.
DO NOT give them your business.
I am very disappointed with this location since Public Storage took over. In less than 2 months it has gone from a pristine storage facility to a filthy unkept facility. We have a climate control unit (in the process of moving out), the hallways in the building are dirty, there is trash around the property, office is dirty & the landscape is extremely overgrown. A huge difference from how the prior owners maintained the place. However, the main reason we are moving out is that Public Storage rents to anyone. Renting online, without verify identity. And this is what happened with someone who rented online then proceeded to break into our unit & multiple others. It may be a great convenience to rent online & just access your unit, but we’re not happy that people with the wrong intentions have the same access & have found a Mom&Pop place where the people still care about their tenants. Maybe instead of Public Storage boasting about being the largest self storage company in the US, they should care more about their tenants. Without them, they would not be so big.

This is hands down the best experience I have ever had in a move! Everything had been such a disaster (as moves tend to be) until I came here. Monika made everything go smoother for me! She helped me with everything I was concerned about and quickly found a solution to every problem. Her positivity and knowledge was just what I needed. Monika is the best ever!!!! Almost can't wait to move again! Lol
Love it. Have had such a wonderful experience with the location on West Avenue out towards Bitters Road. Marie is such an amazing, personable and funny woman. We have an amazing relationship that has built up over the seven years we've been there. The twenty-four, seven access is the first thing that made me choose this specific company.
This place is like most others. They entice you to rent one of their spaces with low cost but after a few months, jack the rates up ridiculously high! Additionally, I’m not sure why the golf cart is always parked right in front of the exit that makes it difficult to exit. Golf cart should be parked elsewhere and not right in front of the gate!
Haven't had a great experience at this storage. No bathroom. Had my account messed up by previous employee.

I was moving my storage unit to the one I have in the town I live in. The town I live in is not San Antonio! Also, my unit was broken into twice and they put one of their locks on my unit and when I went to put my own lock on my unit they could not find the key to the lock they put on my unit so I could get into the unit to see if anything was affected by the break in. I had to wait until I returned to San Antonio to get to my unit again to check it. They said they would not have access to a bolt cutter until after 5 pm but I had to get back home, 2 1/2 hours away.
Safe gated place to keep your belonging.
Had unit for 60 days. Someone broke into my unit and stole all that I had of any value in there. Managers didnt even let me know my unit was broken into. They just put lock back on and hopefully I didnt notice. Talked to guy on site and he already knew my unit was robbed. When I asked why didnt he tell me he just started stuttering blaming someone else. Couldnt even form a complete sentence. Everything seems to tell me it was an inside job. Just so there is now confusion this was off of the Security Self Storage off west ave/wurzbach parkway. I am waiting for the cops right now in the parking lot.
