Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 909 Runnels Ave, San Antonio, TX

I moved in after they open and stayed 18 months. The DEI hire who left before I moved out, Baby was rude. I spoke to a DM hispanic during move out and he did not care. Therefor a racist like her. There is a review about roaches. That lady was 4 doors down from me and going ballistic. I had roaches too. I was told I had to buy my own bug spray and they don't spray. The place was never cleaned. I see the same dirt and wrappers on the floor for a month. Bathrooms always dirty or closed because of sewage issues. I asked the manager why the cops were next door at the apartment complex? There's been a few murders. Then there was graffiti on the wall that took several months to get removed. People would run the gate if you tried to enter or leave. This place deteriorated really fast.

I had hired help to move out my things and get on the road to my next duty station (active duty military). The crew is there and ready to go but the elevators won't stop on the floor my units (yep, more than one) are on. I go to the office to get help and notify them of the elevator problem, and the doors are locked. No note for why they're gone. No time of return. Nothing! I have now lost a day of travel, money for the moving crew that showed up for nothing and the mileage that is given on truck rental driving. Unacceptable! ***UPDATE*** The district manager called me that day and not only compensated me for my troubles but also ensured that the elevators were properly functioning. For anyone who has a units on a different floors make sure that you're using the code attached to the unit so that the elevator will work. I wasn't notified that this was a thing, and the elevator obviously wasnt tracking it either because my 3rd floor unit code allowed me to go to my 2nd floor unit until it didn't.

Ms. Corina has been wonderful to work with during our move. She explained the process, showed us the facilities and was available on multiple days to answer our questions. Climate controlled, great price, password controlled access and great customer service!!

The manager of the property, Corinne, is AMAZING! She was very helpful during a stressful military move when we needed to store many of our belonging. She really went above and beyond when it came to service! A++

This should be a one star review,but two employees are great. Corina and Deanna were super friendly and very helpful. They provided excellent customer service. They both deserve to be recognized and a raise. The other employees weren't great and dropped the ball many times. I had two major issues and it way too longer to get it resolved because most of the employees at this location couldn't care less about good customer service. Corina was the only employee to call me after hearing my messages about getting my lock cut and replaced. Deanna was very helpful when it came to finding the extra key to the new lock and helped me with general information. I had an appointment to come during my lunch to get my key to my new lock. I showed up and I was greeted with a locked door. There wasn't a single employee in sight. They wasted my time and I definitely have a big problem with that. When I get my stuff out, I will never store anything at any Public Storage for the rest of my life.I would never recommend storing anything at Public Storage if good customer service matters to you. You have been warned.

I live right next door and was in need of packing boxes. NO ONE IS EVER THERE DOOR ALWAYS LOCKED.

They give you a deal then they switch on you and charge you earlier then the unit is due. Very crooked people. I was supposed to get two months for $51 and I have paid $200

Never had a problem here . The only bad is that the restrooms are always dirty and most of the time didn't have soap.

I have to say Paul was amazing! He made me laugh he was enthusiastic and told me it was his first time on property but sure didn’t seem like it he got me into my new unit so fast and easily asked me a few times if I needed anything. He also was able to help me and also check up on the customers behind me and help them get started to. His time management is amazing and customer service like his is unseen today he went above and beyond for me and I hope to see him again! He managed to make a stressful day not stressful at all and helped me with my ridiculous questions we need more Paul’s in this world for sure!
