I've never had a storage so thought of setting everything up overwhelmed me. Location is everything! I mean you want it to be convenient but you really want to know your stuff is SAFE! I reserved a unit online which was super simple! I opted to wait until arriving the day of my move in to do everything (unit, payment, gate code, etc.) at the counter so I could depend on an expert lol. Bill to the rescue! He was extremely helpful! He totally upsold me too and I'm so glad! I ended up upgrading to a climate controlled unit! Would definitely recommend this location! Ask for Bill!

Awesome service!

I ended up having to switch public storage locations however Deanna the manager at the one on I-35 was extremely efficient and very helpful and when I got to the new location in Leon Valley Dana that worked there was also very nice very efficient. I am definitely impressed with the efficiency and courtesy these ladies showed me.

Bill is great.. But i think for $177/mo. We could at-lease have access to a Dumpster so we could clean out our storage?? Yes i know dumpsters cost money,, you have 300 units, and you kist raised rent $40/mo. $12000/mo raise at just this location??

Rita was especially helpful today! The storage facility was extremely clean and well-kept. Rita was very knowledgeable she explained everything to us and answered any and all questions that we had. Her appearance was professional and she was very nice! It made getting a storage unit extremely easy and convenient! The property itself is very nice easy to get into and out of it set up like a horseshoe so if you're driving a large trailer you won't get stuck. The property is gated and looks to be very safe. They have a lot of hours for access from 6 a.m. to 9 pm. Start to finish we were able to get in and out of there in under 15 to 20 minutes.

Gate was left unlocked after dark was not close for awhile when I left property it was still open not a secure storage property. Recommend you use other storage facility. Your items are not secure at this property.

Have no problems except for the hours that the gate is open. It's Texas, it's hot during the day that's why I like going after dark but you can only get in till 9:00.

Bill and Clarissa rock. On two occasions they went well above the call of duty to make sure my storage needs expectations were met and exceeded. When I thought we had lost our storage unit key, Clarissa made all the arrangements to cut the lock with me present, ensuring that it would be done correctly and with my ID verified. In the end the key was found, but Bill and Clarissa making sure my property was safe really was great! Highly recommended!!

When I got service at the public storage it was probably some of the best service I’ve got. I actually went to two stores as previously and the people inside that she did not treat me the way I expected so I actually did not get any type of service from him and I came down the road to public storage and he treated me like he was a best friend down the street. Bill the property manager happens to be one of the greatest employees I would have to say I’ve been around. I’m actually a salesman myself so I do know great customer service and I see it. Only have it because our house caught fire two years ago and I haven't got around to unloading our unit since the house was rebuilt. It's a secure place to store your stuff. If you can part with your stuff, save the money (100+ per month depending on unit size) and ditch your stuff.

We got a great storage unit for a great price, it’s clean, it’s well kept. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the guy who helped us wasn’t very enthusiastic about anything, just very bland and to the point.. also when we arrived it had said he was going to be back at a certain time which was fine, we waited about 20 mins. I assumed they were getting lunch and we were fine with waiting, only for him to get back and tell us we have to wait 30-45 mins for him to eat his food. I guess what I got from the sign was that he was going to come back and be done. We waited and did everything and paid but it just was very uncomfortable. But I love the place and the price.!

They require you to buy an odd lock for $20 that only works in their storage room doors and are useless to you afterward. They also require you to pay a monthly insurance fee which is a large amount of money going into their pockets monthly fron all renters.

I've never given a one star rating to anyone, here is my first. 8 months ago I stored my house furniture here and did the automatic payment. Within those 8 months they increased without warning 40.00 per month. I questioned them they said it was an accident but would not give me a refund. They did decrease it down to 140.00 from 165.00 per month. The people are very rude, the place is filthy. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please beware.

I am very happy with the storage location that I chose. Kamel was very friendly and helpful. I travelled from out of town and had an appointment. I arrived early and Kamel was able to get all my paperwork done quickly and I was able to go to my unit start unloading belongings within about 30 minutes of my arrival.

The gentleman behind the counter (Kamil) was extremely and genuinely friendly. The check in process was quick and easy, we were given a chance to preview the location of our storage area before making the decision to go with them. Very pleased with the property and location made me feel safe about leaving my stuff there.

Don't move in here. They rob you of money!!. They prorate to move in..but not move out?? Im a teacher who needs every penny of my paycheck. But they dont care. They also go up in price every year which is awful. I was with them for 3 years and couldn't honor original price went from being at $85 to $102 for a 5×10??? May not seem like a lot but when youre tight on money it makes a big difference. Go to Lock and Storage right down the street (Eckert & Bandera) You get bigger space for cheaper, I got twice the space for cheap and they won't jip you of your money.

I chose this Public Storage location after checking reviews online. This was my first time renting, so I didn't know what to expect. As it turns out, everything went very smoothly. The employee who signed me up (I can't recall her name) was professional and pleasant, and not only was there was a great move-in special, but the monthly rate after that beat the competition. I was especially pleased with how easy it was to access my unit--the streets are wide, so there was plenty of room to park my car right at the door. I always felt like my belongings were secure, and the staff members were so helpful. Today I vacated my unit, and I was grateful for Bill's help. I would recommend Public Storage in general, and I highly recommend this location in particular.

The facility is just fine. My problem has been the constant rate increase! I'm moving out now only because they have once again sent an increase notice. Now up to $246 a month. Unheard of!

Bill was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make my rental as smooth as possible.

There for 3 days. Offer no refund. Over 200 bucks for bs, renters insurance, amongst other crap. Rolling door wouldn't stay up past halfway.

DO NOT COME HERE!! WARNING!! You'll get the run around from staff and when given an excuse "oh she's new so she didn't know that" Well thats not my problem. Tried to call the District manager multiple times and can't get a call back. I guess that shows what kind of company they are running over here.

I love the fact that Bill took the time to go over everything with me as a first time renter I didn't know there was so much into it but he made it as painless as possible (with a few jokes in between) making me feeling he had my best interest at heart, making me feel confident this was the storage place for me!

GO WITH THIS STORAGE UNIT! My husband and I are going to move to NC in a couple months because he's active duty army(he's stationed in Korea, so as soon as he gets his orders, it'll be very fast paced from there). I'm getting all of my things together early and will need a place for my things that won't lock me into a contract because I need it for only two months. Also, as a new growing family with a little one, saving up money and budgeting is a must. Not only do you get a great price for good space, but the manager is extremely personable, humble, and very friendly so if you have any questions he's willing to help in any way he can. It's also right on Leon Valley so it's very secure. EXTREMELY HAPPY with my experience here. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO NEED AN AFFORDABLE AND SAFE STORAGE UNIT!!! (:

Emily helped me and kept her composure while dealing with an irate customer who was yelling at her and threatening her with a bad review because she could not use an on site dumpster. These are very clean and very nice. I understand now why they are always full. Yolanda was very nice and helpful in showing me the storage units. The paper work was easy to fill out online and it makes it easier to get through the process when you first check in. Bill was also very helpful when we first saw the units. This was the first time I had ever had to use a storage, I am grateful for the awesome help I received, how kind they were and how they give you a few extra days (with payment, of course) to be out at the end of your month if you are planning on taking your things out of storage. I rented a storage unit for the first time with public storage at Bandera. The employee swiftly walked me through the rental contract, showed me the unit, and discussed company rules. I had no issues renting the unit and I recommend Public Storage as a hassle free place to store your goods.
