This place is a complete joke!! There is never anyone in the office at This location. We were very unfortunate to get a unit on the second floor. The bad thing about it hey is you have to put your code in every time anyone goes up. We are paying a moving company and they change by the hour. This facility is not a place you want to go if you are storing a house full of items. It will literally take days to try and move everything just because of the slow elevator, and inputting a code EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! Please, please stay away. Our experience was so bad we stopped packing the unit and got a more expensive storage unit just because our experience was sooooo bad!!! It’s cheap for a reason. Stay away!!

Diana, the on site manager, is very friendly and helpful. She answered patiently to all my questions. She made my moving easier by guiding me. I was moving my stuff directly from containers to the storage. Wish public storage allowed placing the containers in their parking lots for 3-4 days. They could even charge for the parking lot. This could have saved my the trip to uhaul and made my move easier.

I stopped in to see about renting a unit, we are moving soon and downsizing so we need some storage for items we don’t have room for. Dana was very helpful and friendly. She showed me the layout and showed me the different options for units. I will definitely be back when the time comes. Thanks Dana!

This Public Storage in Prosper, was awesome! I had my unit there for 5 years. This location was always clean and I never had any issues. Billy and Liz were amazing!!! I chose this location 3 years ago because the location and the staff. I recently left a message with a billing question and Liz returned my called very promptly. She was generally concerned and not only fixed the issue she went above and beyond to make us a satisfied customer. Her knowledge and professionalism is why we are still customers, Thank you Liz.

My daughter just rented a unit here. She did it all on line. You don't even have to go into the office. They give you a code to get in the door. Brand new facility. Really nice.

Been in this facility for a couple weeks and I’m finding they do not clean their facilities. Such a shame as the outside of the building looks very nice but inside there are insects everywhere trash in the hallways. I did notice it before I moved in but I assumed this would be cleaned out by now but it’s the same insect debris and trash throughout the hallways. This seems to be a trend with Public Storage as I’ve rented from them before and find they do not take care of their facilities as compared to the competitors I’ve rented from. Very dissatisfied.

Terrible Location and Service! Leased space here for years and the heating and air conditioning has never worked right. Takes months to get repaired and then it gets worse instead of being fixed. Every season change the units quit working and required service repairs. They don't discount your rent, which includes utilities but the utilities never work. Hard to get the manager to respond. For business leases, the public bathroom is all we have and it is frequently out of toilet paper and soap and we have to bring our own until someone bothers to check it days later. They rarely clean the restrooms! The cleaning brush is disgusting and instead of replacing it they just don't bother cleaning with it. The sink and faucet never look cleaned. This location has been terrible. We asked the manager of our rental for reimbursement for the a/c fans we had to buy since the A/C has been out every summer, the manager emailed us and told us she would be happy to send us paperwork if we wanted to break our lease. That's the terrible customer service you get here! Nothing! No communication that these repairs will be made, no discounts on rent when they agreed to provide us with heating and air conditioning included with our rent payment. This is the first year they actually have had pest control prevention. We have had to use our own methods until this year. This is not a place to lease business space. They don't care about you or following through on their end of the contract.

(May 10th Update, I was just informed that my rate is going up $50 per a month! This is ridiculous! I can understand a $10 or $15 increase but $50? No way, I'll be going somewhere else. I've only been here since Christmas!) It's way too hot in the climate controlled area and there aren't enough carts sometimes. They only have 3 in the main building. They need at least one if not two more.

Tim and his staff has made my moving situation so easy and simple. It might be because I was there at right and right place but they had exactly what I needed and when I needed more space he had another unit available right down from my first unit. I only give it 3 stars because there are no dumpsters for their renters to use. I've rented at several different storage places and this is the first one that doesn't have dumpsters. Also, the 4 parking places next to my building are ALWAYS occupied by the SAME vehicles. Otherwise, the place is clean and office staff courteous.

Great location, easy access from multiple directions. The units and hallways are kept clean. The climate control area is truly climate controlled. Tim is outstanding, knows what he's doing and is very friendly and helpful.

I drive by and also deliver to this location daily as a UPS deliveryman. Tim, the on site manager, is very friendly and helpful, especially when the tenants are out. The property is clean, up to date, and Tim ensures that all maintenance issues are minimal. Great job! Always pleasant to come here!

A young lady named albssa was so very kind when I was helping my friend find a good storage place and she gave us the best one and even walked us through the process and even took us to storage again to help us find it again cuz we got lost I'm so thankful that she was so kind and helpful if I ever need to go and put my stuff away in a public storage I know I'm coming back to her.

Moving out on the 1st and they're still charging me for the ENTIRE month of November. Haven't been late on ONE single payment. Absolute joke. Be sure to move out at the end of the month when the time comes because that's $122 out the window. Complete waste of money. Also, my rate was upped $15 a month, 3 months in. Think twice before choosing this place.

The ladies that originally helped me rent a storage unit were helpful and personable. Dyman was also very easy to work with and his customer service skills are superb. You can tell he’s willing to go above and beyond to help his customers.

I have rented a climate controlled storage unit here for a few months now. I was happy with the quality and location when I signed up and moved my things into a 10x15 Air Conditioned unit. about 1 month ago I came by to put some thing into my unit and noticed a bunch of crickets in the hallways as i walked in.. as I opened my storage door I saw several crickets inside my unit! I filed a complaint with the company's after hours team and they assured me i would hear back from the property manager... I never recieved a follow up. today I called and was told that the crickets are not being taken care of by a professional and that they spray as they sweep, the crickets are still an issue and it seems that the company could care less... Public Storage only offers 5k in insurance and I have over 10k in cloth furniture (couches, temperpedic mattresses, mechanical Box Springs chairs and all of my belongings... photos and keepsakes...) in my unit... I would not recommend this place to anyone and am overly frustrated with their lack of service. I will update my review if this is resolved but I am afraid I am going to just have to pull all of my things out to see if there is any current damage to all of my things.... frustrated is an understatement...

We decided, today, we needed a small storage unit to store some things rather than giving them away. We visited two places that were closed for lunch and ended up at Public Storage. Alexis was highly efficient and professional. She did a great job at ‘upselling’, too!! We were in and out of there, satisfied, in less than 20 minutes; that includes viewing the unit and electronic paperwork.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a horrible experience at the Prosper location today. I thought I was getting the $1 first month special online, I even called to VERIFY that was correct - they told me yes on the phone. However, once I got there (2 hours later) with my movers in tow - they tell me that the $1 special doesn’t apply for my unit and that the she made a mistake. I understand mistakes happen but they need to make it right and they didn’t. We even called Callie the DM and she was completely rude blaming me and saying that if I want the dollar special I need to pick a smaller unit that has the special. She said there was nothing she could do to make it right. Beware of you ever deal with Callie. She clearly does not care for Public Storage customers...period. Worst customer experience ever!
