Kudos to Marquel at Public Storage in Houston by the highway. She went above and beyond when I had been struggling with renting online. Walked me over to look at the unit. Checked for alternatives. Courteous and professional, she made the experience super satisfying. Thank you, Marquel!

I've had the unit 1 year and the rate has gone up twice to nearly double the original rent. $201 -> $281 (40% increase) -> $339 (20% increase). Total bait & switch. Do yourself a favor and find another storage facility that doesn't rely on predatory practices.

Elevator is down and you don’t even have access to the stairs. Fat female from the front desk too fat to even walk and had me wait for over 30 minutes for her to open the stairwell door.

Storing my vehicle was easy thanks to Marquel. Her knowledge and clear understanding of the storage process and parking layout made it an overall quick in and out process. Thanks to that I was able to maximize my day and get a few more things done that I wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise. Thanks again!

Edit 2023 - in mid-2022, the facility’s gate was apparently broken and left open over the course of several days by mistake instead of being closed nightly as per their normal practice. During this time my travel trailer was stolen, driven out through that gate after hours. Although I had taken precautions to protect it (hitch lock, wheel lock), and the gate malfunction was out of my control, the facility offered nothing and this big business certainly has their contract buckled up tightly, as it basically says regardless of the condition of their security measures, they are in no way liable. Keeping two stars as the manager was very kind, and almost as upset as I was, but I won’t be using a storage facility again if I can avoid it, and certainly not Public Storage. Edit - 18 months later and still a great facility! The staff has been helpful and courteous, and are good about keeping an eye on things. I had my RV out for a couple of months at a festival and they called to make sure all was okay. Also, they recently upgraded the keypads so that the app controls them. Overall excellent experience to date! Original review: I set up my unit a couple weeks ago and so far so good! Great location with excellent service from Jennifer and Diandra.

I rented the largest unit available at this Public Storage location in August of 2022 so I could store my household items while I travel the country in my RV for the next few years. The price was slightly higher than some other locations, but I was ok with that as it seemed to be secure. 4 months later I get an email stating that the price is going up $100 a month (27% increase). I'm not near the location anymore and forced to pay close to 2X what other locations in the area charge. On top of that I rented the largest unit available so moving would be a giant PITA. Not sure if it's correlated, but I received a strange call saying that my $60 circle lock that's on my unit is not approved. I stated I couldn't change it, because I'm traveling. Shortly after that I received the price increase notice. Could it be their way of probing for price increases?? Seems like predatory practices... renters beware! September 2023 Update: I have been paying the increased rent and got another notification today that my price is going up again. Within 1 year my price went from $276 to $416. October 2023 Update: The district manager was able to work with me to bring the price back down to what it was when I signed up for the unit. I'm grateful that I can cancel my flights and not interrupt the trip I'm on just to move my stuff.

Great business and property manager Aiesha Edit horrible one year later, no body answer phone no one knowledgeable about what's going on. 0 help calling customer service in a emergency situation.

Came today to load my stuff into my unit and i need some quick assistance, Shawnna at the front desk was extremely helpful and very polite to communicate with.

This is the best location if you need storage. The management is super professional and they definitely go above and beyond to help in everyday possible.
