Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1520 W Irving Blvd, Irving, TX

This place is a crook. It should be against the law. I moved in then three months later jacked up the price over 40%. I am absolutely stunned. The manager Crystal is actually very nice and helpful. She works hard to keep the place cleaned. I will never rent from them again.

Well, after a sour event we experienced While was trying to pay the fees through the application we noticed The price increase without any notification of any kind From 80 bucks to 100 plus bucks So finally one of the representative notified me through a phone call The monthly fees went down again to 80 bucks only for few __months! Since this's the third similar event In the last 3 years plus since we are Customer on this location We are definitely done.............! And soon enough will be taking our business somewhere else HONESTLY! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS IRVING LOCATION I work for a law firm and don't wanted take this any further than this post I'm tired receiving unwelcome and unacceptable phone calls and emails Asking me to change the status of my bad experience with them? This's America where my rights of Free of speech are protected and support by the constitution ************ PERIOD ***********

Management is rarely on site it's 11am there's been a sign on the door saying be back in 30 minutes I've been in my storage for about an hour. Came back out there's currently 4 customers waiting outside to talk to someone. .... This is regular occurrence here

Advertised 46 and charged me 96: right now waiting for a return call. I finally got an email of charges breakdown; still no call back and office still closed. Facility is secure which is a plus.

I was paying 414.00 a month for 2 storages, then all of the sudden it goes up to 504.00 I went to the office to ask why and they said I should have received a notice, which I didn't because she told me she didn't send it , but would get my price back down to the original price if I do a move out and move in contact,which I did last month, Today I'm checking my balance and it's not on the App. But it is on an email, she Flat out LIED it's still 504.00, I will be making this payment then moving out asap. !!!!! You just DONT do business this way !!!!!! Never again will I or my family or friends do business with Public Storage !!!!

Price wasn’t bad, but I got insurance too. Got a letter stating that I needed to do more paperwork for the insurance. So my unit wasn’t covered but they still got paid for it. Moved out of it today, and they acted like the insurance money was free cash in their pockets. Not happy. Very unprofessional.

I’ve had a couple of issues while renting here but they were all resolved to satisfaction. The biggest problem I had was the movers put heavier things against my roll up door. The DM went above and beyond for me to help me so that I can start removing my stuff. I am very grateful to have had his support especially since I am pregnant and no longer need the space and can save more especially during this COVID situation. The female staff at this location is always super friendly and eager to assist, and I do appreciate that also during these times it’s nice to see a smile. Thanks PS. Hopefully I’ll be moved out soon.

They basically granted access and watched a thief load all my belongings into a truck never to be seen again. Here is the kicker when you sign the storage agreement you basically give up your rights to hold them accountable for any lose. If you are considering storing your items here my only suggestion is to gather all the items you plan to put into this storage and stack them carefully close together. Now pour gasoline over the top and lite it! I just saved you $100+ monthly, your welcome.

I wouldn't recommend this place to store Your personal staff! My vehicle was stolen from this place on August the 4th of 2019. They got access with the pin #..that was issued by Public Storage ,and i think it's inside job..Add note Sept.3rd.:Owner Robert, He just Call me today ,and laughted out at myself,i did tell him see you in Court.And then he hang ap..Apdate note for future People who want to secure,and park there vehicle there..Its open parking space, and Public storage Not have insurance for it..What so ever in case your vehicle get stolen from there property.Add note onApril 19th.2020 And i suspect the same person that manage this Business himself gave the pin # .. to Enter security gate into the property,Becouse have access to All his Customer pin #...Also i find it strange? Laughing at me for theft of my staff that occured at his business storage security place.

This was my first time purchasing a storage unit so I was a bit nervous. As soon as I walked into the office, Cathy greeted me with a warm and calm smile. A friend of mine got a great price on a storage unit from this place. Amanda was very helpful to him and he's been overly pleased with all the service and helpful staff.

I showed up yesterday and I dealt with Amanda. She was so helpful. Even though I didn't get a unit just yet, (we are still working on a permanent place to live) I will definitely come back if we find a place within 30 miles of here.

I have used public storage pick up and delivery before and it was not a pleasant experience at all. I will never use public storage pick up and delivery again, ever, in life. This location of public storage is OK. The entrance at this location looked very worn and ghetto. Fortunately, they are in the process of remodeling the exterior of the office building. As of May 2nd, 2019, renovations aren't complete but it already looks so much better. It is a small location which makes it easy to drive right up to your storage unit. The grounds are clean and well kept. I am always able to go in-and-out without incident. The cost of the storage unit is very reasonable and competitive. Although I've only had my belongings at this storage location for about 2 months, I do recommend this location to anyone who needs a cheap or reasonably priced storage unit.

The staff here was pleasant and professional. The unit was clean and I never saw any evidence of bugs or anything like that. Overall really good experience. I just wish they allowed 24/7 gate access. But, I was told that restricted access has lead to 0 breakins.

Worst experience ever. Doesn't deserve 1 star. I called 3 different times 3 different locations. I needed the storage unit asap. I specified to operator I needed the unit ASAP. When I got to the locations, ALL 3 locations staff was on lunch. At the Irving Blvd. Location the staff was there, but told me she was at lunch. I walked out, she chased me down said she would clock back in to help me but she said " next time don't walk out on me while I am talking". The nerve! She was the 3rd location I had been to and again I called and specified I need the unit ASAP. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. All locations blamed the issue on the fact that the operators are in another state. I wasted gas and time. I am stuck with all my things in my tiny car. I would never recommend this business to anyone ever.

Office hours are supposed to be 9:30am-6pm. No one has answered the phone, upon arrival to the location there are patrons standing outside waiting to be helped. No one is in the office. One customer said he has been standing outside waiting over 30 minutes. There is a lack of professionalism due to not having someone available to help customers during regular business hours.

I was really impressed with the special , help that , I received from Mercedes, when my movers, didn't show up to move my furniture, Mercedes went above, and beyond , to help me, with my problem, she was really great.

Mercedes and Tiffany were very amazing and took care of my family. I know i was a total mess and not sure how they handled it so wonderfully. Such an easy and quick process. Even though i didnt have much left she still got the things to protect what i did have. From the bottom of my heart I thank these ladies and this company for being so reasonable and having such wonderful employees.

Not open 24 hours and their changing their hours starting December 15th which makes it very limited. They were not honest about the cost for the so called "special" for first time peeps. Added so much that it really wasn't worth the cost.

I have had a unit here for 4 years, the only thing I don't like and in fact hate is the rate goes up, I'm sure they're all the same. Now the associate I deal with is super friendly and knows her job very well. She also takes time to call and remind me to pay before late charges incur. I moved in on August, 2015. I am finally moving my stuff out. Yaaaay!! Not because of the staff but because it is past time. I have NEVER had any problems here for the nearly 2 years of being here. Sadly my review is not good and if you look at the national ratings and complaints, you will think twice about them. If you use them verify everything, ONLY pay them with verifiable means that you have a clear record of. They will take automated payments, cash them, and credit you days later which means late fees. Late fees are where they make most of their money so be very careful how you pay them. Be advised they will slap a lien on your property without legal notice if you are late, take and sell your stuff and leave you holding nothing. Also be aware that for your time there they do not prorate any month...if you are there one day into a month, then move out, you will be charged for an entire month. I'd check the national complaint sites for them before you rent. It's a shocker.
