Management could be better the lights don’t come on a good time that’s pretty mad. The elevator was not working. It stopped before the floor and you can never get anybody on the phone.
Office and B building smells like pee and the ceiling is full of black mold. The units are also smaller than advertised, so if you’re looking for something specific it’s best to move up a size. The people who are trying to help through the kiosk ate extremely rude and unhelpful. I ended up going to attic storage next door. Much better.
Current customer. No on-site management and no repairs to critical equipment such as elevators. The photo below has been up for months and there is no way to contact local management.

This place is disappointing. I feel deceived.
The first thing that happened is I found that the elevator was inoperable. That left me with an hour of carrying boxes up stairs. Also there was no platform truck so it was one box at a time.
There was a HVAC person there to repair one of the units and it was about 80 degrees inside the building. He was bummed that the elevator didn’t work as well. It did have lower prices than other Public Storage complex but I would have preferred paying more.
Horrible pest control, would never store my things at this location again. Rats chewed their way in through the wall to get into my unit. I had my grandmothers furniture and clothing stored there. Upon entering my unit I was almost overcome with the smell of rat feces and urine. Every flat surface had feces and urine stains. There was no food or anything stored that they could eat but they certainly hung out for a while. There’s also no one who works on the premises and I was never able to speak to an actual person about this so for all I know the holes are still there and have remained unpatched. Very foul experience overall.
Unfortunately, there are several issues that need immediate attention. The property is in disarray, infested with rats, and lacking proper maintenance. The gate is not functioning, and there is a noticeable smell inside the storage units. Additionally, there is no property manager overseeing the maintenance of the property as advertised. The elevator does not work!

Absolute trash. They don't even have a human on site checking to make sure things work. Wasted my time today because the elevator is broken. There is no human to talk to... just a kiosk where you're talking to someone who knows where. So they use their customers to monitor problems instead of an actual human. Rat traps all over the place but in complete disrepair. Place is absolute garbage.
Always had a good experience with public storage but I never understood what's the point of having a dumpster if it's always locked and you can't use it I don't understand that and then if you leave something by the dumpster you get fined $500 take the dumpster away and you want people to take their trash with them a lot of people don't know where to put their trash and if they leave it in the stores unit it's going to be $1,000 fine so be real careful what you do with your trash and as far as climate controlled it ain't climate controlled cuz when this scorching hot outside is supposed to be cold and when it's cold outside it's supposed to be hot ain't nothing climate control about it
1. Thieves will break into your storage unit and steal from you at this location. They have doors that don't secure properly, and it's a high crime area.
2. Mice will crawl, eat, and poop on your belongings. They have had mice at this location the entire time we've been here.
3. Your rental rates will never remain the same. You will see several price increases if you stay more than 3-6 months.
4. They have false, paid reviews for this location, so you'll think it's a good location when it's not.
5. You will not be able to use a loading cart at this location. They offer carts, but you will never be able to use one here.
6. They will charge you a $75 fee for throwing away a little bit of trash. They don't even bother to call me. I didn't know I couldn't use the dumpster. A simple, polite call and I would've removed the trash myself.
7. If you accidentally stay past closing, expect the alarm to be set on you and for the overnight manager to appear out of nowhere once you trip the alarm being rude and unprofessional.
8. This is beyond the worst experience I've ever had at a storage unit. We've dealt with mice ruining our things, over a thousand dollars worth of things stolen from us (with not even a follow-up call about it afterward). Rate increases right after our unit was broken into! Lack of service! Rude and lazy employees! You name it, we've experienced it here! I'm convinced this storage location is a legitimate portal from Hell!!!! PLEASE, whatever you do, DO NOT RENT A STORAGE FROM HERE!!!!!!

Great secure location and good prices. I do recommend this self storage business in Zacha Junction area near 635. It's very accommodating besides no carts available for moving your items but altogether, my move in was done swiftly!
Muy mal experiencia nunca hay personas para hablar con ellos siempre lo mandan arreglar los problemas a otra dirección y la bodega que me asignaron no se puede respirar esta súper caliente en la segunda planta y también quieren a la fuerza que pague la Aseguranza y ellos mismos cuando firme contrato dijeron que era opcional ninguna obligación y ahora dicen otra cosa. Mal experiencia. No la recomiendo.
Ya me mudé y pague a tiempo mes a mes y el día que deje la bodega los busque 3 veces en el kiosko y nunca me atendieron ahora me salen que les debo por no dejar las llaves dicen que les debo pagar el mes de Noviembre mas los cargos están locos yo me fui a tiempo hasta cerrar con el último dia del mes de Octubre.
Y aún así siguen cobrando. Es la peor decisión de mi vida haber rentado con Public Storage.
this storage is great for me, the access is reliable and the terms are great. I also love the fact that you can download an app and use it to gain access to the storage center without having to input a key code, which makes my visits even more simpler.
They are never on time and there is never anyone to talk to. Don’t answer phones, just a full lack of communication at almost every location. It says they open at @ 9:30 but it seems like the employees make their own schedule. If you don’t want much interference from the staff then this is an ok place but if you need anything, don’t expect help unless you catch them at the right time.

I would say the start of things was awesome from setting up everything online. I rented a climate control unit which I will never do again it's not climate control. Might as well should of got a outdoor unit. When moving they say carts are available there not. That would be a help for someone moving upstairs on a elevator. As far as speaking to someone you have to talk to a kiosk I really don't care for that.
The elevator for building A elevator won't open when you get the 2nd level. I don't have access to my things when needed. Please fix this!

The District Manager Emily HayHo is a liar and a cheat. She doesn't do here job and after you pay your rent she makes you move out. She promises a refund and never does it. I'm never going back to public storage. SHE OWES ME $258.00 PLUS MOVING COSTS.
It was clean. Other than that...nope. no carts anywhere...Noone on site to assist. Wrong locks issued 2 times. Very secure but not very friendly for moving into or out of.
Just opened up a storage here and they gave me the wrong lock! I had to rush and get my own lock before they closed. The manager didn't get back to me until days later. Wouldn't recommend this location if you want to trust your things being held safely.
This is the most run down storage unit I have seen. The ceiling insulation is caved in (so much for climate controlled) . The door was damaged and no one works there - only a kiosk. The elevator worked but the door took several attempts before closing. Needs serious upkeep.

I informed them thru the app that I would be moving out on Dec. 30, 2022 of the unit I rented at 11085 Walnut Hill Ln Dallas, Tx 75238. I took off from work that day to indeed move out. In the over 6 hours it took for us to move out of the unit, at no time did anyone from Public Storage show up to confirm that I was moving or had moved out. Later that night, I informed them that I had, as stated I would, moved cleaned the unit and took my lock with me.
Now here we are days and weeks later, I'm getting phone calls, text messages and now emails stating I owe them for the month of January plus late fees. I attempted to contact them thru their customer service number, messages to them thru their webpage and no one had reached out to me. Therefore, on 01.11.23, I went to their webpage again but instead of leaving a message, I used the chat feature and spoke to someone by the name of James. I informed him that I moved out of that unit on 12.30.22 and that I do not owe them anymore money. He stated he would place a move out dispute with the property manager and someone would get in contact with me in 24-48 hours. No one has contacted me.
Instead, I received an email that I now owe them $98.00 because I moved out on 01.13.23. Basically, they removed the late now and are now attempting to charge me for the month of January when I had indeed moved out on 12.30.22. Had they bothered to check the unit, they would have seen that the unit was empty, clean and the lock removed on 12.30.22. I can never reach anyone. I've tried numerous times to reach the property manager to no success. Their customer service number is a joke as one can never - EVER -speak to a live person. I do not owe and will not pay what I do not owe just because they were to lazy to go and check the property on 12.30.22.
My experience with this storage space is horrible. They add fees I called to understand them very unprofessional. I paid my bill and they locked me out my storage. The hassle they have been giving me is ridiculous all for me to not have access to my storage. Not to mention no one is never at the site. I walked around for 30 mins looking for the elevator only for it to be broken. Please be mindful there is a storage unit right across the street or another option on northwest highway. -update someone called and rectified my issue. I appreciate it.

Great service at some locations
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Why? I am away and another individual is an authorized access to the unit and even when our bill is current, they lock him out. They refuse to work with him. They refuse any type of communication from myself to correct this. They are very disrespectful. And I'd highly suggest taking your storage needs elsewhere where you are appreciated and none of your authorized individuals are treated poorly!
Next, they won't communicate with you to make payment on your unit than they turn around and sell it for way less than any of the contents are worth. They will NOT be getting any of my money and I'd highly suggest go somewhere else and run as far away from Public Storage as you can!
Clean property with decent security. I have only seen the gate not close once. I would have given more stars if they did not remove the office with a human. My top floor unit has shifted so much that everything caved in to the center on top of each other. The price is pretty high too, I used to have a unit less than half the price for twice the size.
This new kiosk system has these people extra lazy… I pay for a space that I can’t even get access to and I just wanna get all my stuff and never return!!!! The process to even get in touch with somebody is a NIGHTMARE. Even when you call the number they have plastered everywhere is an automated voice that just loops you in circles. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had

I had a 5'x7' storage unit...started out around $50 which seems high for small size. They increased it to $67 for a bit...then recently to $79....then last month jumped $25 to $105! That's some serious price gouging for no reason whatsoever! A 5'x7' space!!
The keep it clean but they will squeeze you for every penny no matter the size of your storage!

Typically it’s hard to find someone there. Phones don’t get answered. But surprised. Probably assuming they are losing quiet a bit of business. Seems as no one is ever there and calls have to be answered. Having a hard time understanding why this is happening.
