If I could I would give it a zero. I used this place for a couple of months and immediately moved my stuff out because homless people broke into the building and we're getting drunk inside and gave my wife a hard time which I drove like a race car driver to go protect her. No one is never there .
I was robbed! Someone removed my disc lock and replaced it with another disc lock along w/ a Public Storage sticker. I had to pay for a locksmith just to get into my own unit to find lots of missing items. I met several others who this happened to, all on the 3rd floor.
This is the worst storage ever! They say you can get in the units at 6am but we get there at 8am the system is DISABLED. Codes are always changing. We call and no answer and office is supposed to be open. They also NEVER answer and they are never there when the office opens.

This is the worst storage unit. Elevator is always broken! Price is always going up! Terrible service! No one gives a crap! Trash place! They have RATS! They will cut your lock even if your on auto pay! Upper management is nonexistent! What do you pay for?

They have had an elevator broken for almost 5 months, now the other one is broken, they "lost the keys" or they were "stolen" according to the woman we spoke with. She said they didn't know when we would have access to our unit. Not the first time this has happened here. I would stay away from this place. As soon as we get access tomorrow stuff, we are cancelling, and demanding a refund.

Had my unit for less than 6 months and it was "tampered with" aka BROKEN INTO. Luckily nothing was stolen but a new lock was put on. Management was less than empathetic about it. Immediately removed my stuff and cancelled. Not sure if it's the location or what, but not worth the risk.

CAUTION when you reserve through their online deals! I recommend you pay for it the day of. If you don’t someone else can get your unit. I updated my reservation that I did not pay the day of, the system said it was available for the updated date. I visited the store as the link to pay was not showing in the email. When I arrived the manager said the unit I reserved was not available and the unit he showed on his system did not contain a promotion. I tried contacting all the Public Storage numbers and nothing was working. The kind manager phoned them from their desk phone and told him they couldn’t do anything for me, as the reservation was canceled. Something happened that my reservation was cancelled! The manager was so kind and tried his best to honor the online promotion but was unsuccessful. FYI customer service will NOT honor the online promotion! I had to then book another online promotion to a different location but that location the manager was not on site to help me pay, as again the link to pay was not showing in my email, get my unit and passcode. I then, contacted the customer service number which it worked and they could not do anything for me as well! They said I had to visit another property and physically get help. The Customer Serivde Rep. could only help via phone only if I canceled my reservation, which cancels the online promotion! My only option was to visit another location and still the manager could not help me either. The online reservation showed that I had to pay at full price. The manager at that other site, then contacted customer service again and finally they could help! This property site the air conditioning only is working in certain areas! The doors are propped open during operation hours and the top of the units are covered with thin wiring that anyone can climb up and break in.
I'm sorry to say that it was NOT a pleasant experience. I made a reservation via phone, and upon arrival the Elevators were damaged, the main doors were Open. There was no one answering, and when I called to request a change there were NO answers, they told me that I had to wait the next day to be attended to. They told me to use the stairs and I had a move with a 27-foot truck. Many people arrived and had to leave because there was no way to enter the different levels because the elevator was damaged. Several of them arrived and showed their annoyance at seeing that the elevator had been damaged for days.

I have been unable to access my storage United. I tried to get in on Sunday, July 7th, and Monday, 8th, but Both elevators are down. They put up a sign that says: “Use the stairwells to access your units”. However, we couldn't use the stairs because the door to access was locked (The door is designed to go out, but not to go in) This situation is causing me to lose money and my job. I can not access to the tools I need for my job and I also I need them to travel to another state. This is unacceptable, they have to do better.
Today July,9th, the elevator still doesn't work. I reported it to customer service, they explained to me they are going to place an order with the maintenance team, and that the elevator might be fixed in 72 hours. I am beyond disappointed with this situation.
I’ve been broken into twice. The second time other units including mine were hit. They never fixed my unit from the first break in even though I reported it to them. Another time the “climate control” air conditioning broke in the middle of summer and they never notified anyone and I only learned about it after getting to my unit. It ruined vinyl I had stored there. Also there is hardly EVER a property manager on site and no one ever answers the phone. I told them I was moving out and the day..the day of they had the sliding doors locked even though it was the “supposed” hours and I had to reschedule the movers losing more money
This place is trash. If you value your time and money and belongings go elsewhere

Reserved and paid for my storage 6/29 with the purchase of a lock. When arriving there on 6/29 alot of people trying to get in as sliding door were not opening was unable to access my storage. Unhappy with this!!!😡 my vehicle full of stuff very pissed!!!

There have been alot of problems at this unit with elevator reliability and air conditioning. However when Gracie is on site she does everything she can to resolve the issues.

THE WORST STORAGE IN AUSTIN. Do not leave your stuff with them, no matter how good the deals sound. My door has been bent in since April 28th, it’s now May 6th and they have YET to get the door fixed or repaired or call me back for an update. Radio silence! I can’t open the door at all. I HAD to pay rent for May even though I still can’t access my unit. When I say they do shady business, I mean.. they do SHADY business.

Gracie was fabulous! I had fallen behind on my payments and my unit had been locked but I had just gotten the money and paid. Gracie was very empathetic, she gave me my options and helped me process the payment for a new lock. She served me with a great and upbeat spirit. I would recommend Public Storage to anyone just because of people like her!

I have nothing but good things to say about the director of this facility, who went above and beyond to reach out to me to discuss the issues I had experienced while in this facility. She took what was an unpleasant experience and turned it around. All business probably find themselves with an unhappy customer at one point for something, whether their fault or not, and there are so many businesses that really don’t take the time to listen or care to try to make situations feel better but this one did.
The managers there have to do split shifts at different properties, so they are only there during certain times of the day. They also got the bathroom up and working again. Reanna is a pretty good manager there, and so is Celeste and Jessica.
No one is ever at the office during advertised business hours. No one ever answers the phone during business hours. My lock to the unit was changed without my knowledge and I’ve been unable to access my things so that I can move into my new apartment going on 48 hours now. I’ve called over 10 times across the past 2 days and still no luck. Wouldn’t rent from a Public Storage ever again.
Worst manager and worst service I have received from any manager at any storage place ever. Very incompetent person! I’m surprised she still even has a job there, then on top of that as a manager!!!! I have used many different public storages and this one by far has been the worst one. I do not recommend this location especially because of the poor management! Stay away at all costs!
This place is cheap for a reason. The property manager is only on-site half the time because they have her scheduled at other properties. Additionally, if the lock they provide you fails and you get locked out of your unit through no fault of your own, they will not help you. They will tell you to either hire a locksmith of your own or fill out a paper form and wait over a week. They finally resolved the issue after 12 days but it's ridiculous that it took that long.
Also, I ended up renting two storage units because my first one was too small and I wanted to move to a bigger unit. Should be easy, right? Nope. The app that Public Storage uses glitches when there are units on more than one floor in the same building. Cheap and lazy.
Finally, crime rings are known to hit Public Storage complexes because they're lax on security and customer service. Based on everything I've seen, this place will probably be next. Worst experience I've ever had. I'm taking my business elsewhere and you should too.

So unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional. I asked the property manager for help with a lock out (as directed to do from the website…) & he immediately had an attitude, was very dismissive on the phone, and assured me that him doing his job was a “courtesy.” A polite “no” would’ve sufficed but he was just weird and rude.

I’m giving Stars and that is for Dawn who recently helped us as much as she can. This is not her property so I won’t hold her accountable for the lack of support, communication from this location. They have been through many people and untrustworthy people. There is no monitoring of this site at times no patrols are being done. The place is dirty it is not being taken care of obviously. Our storage unit was broken into had to call the main number in order to get things done. The door to the stairs was taped off. The stairs are still taped off due to I was able to pull the door open. There is no cameras on that side. Found marking on other storage units and other people are not aware of their units being broken into. Like I was because had they been monitoring the location they would have noticed the damage to my unit and noticed it was broken into. Something needs to be changed, I’ve been going daily since then walking the property and I’ve seen homeless people I’ve called APD and reported it Hopefully they get tired of me calling and do something about this…..

I rent a unit here and overall my experiences have been great. Richard was great to work with and answered all of my questions regarding billing. He was very transparent about everything and there were no surprises. The facility is clean and climate controlled. The app works great for getting in and out. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe place to store things. One note though is to bring your own cart as they are sometimes in use by others.

Jessica was very helpful in helping me end my rental. She deserves 5 stars but the facility was not as clean and well maintained as when I moved my stuff into the unit, so I’m giving the building 4 stars. Also only one cart for the whole building. There used to be more.
We recently had to move because our unit had been infested with rats. We have a prison ministry and store fleece material and yarn to teach crocheting and sewing. We found 3 dead rats in our unit, and were told by management that they were “looking into the problem.” We had no food or water in our unit, so they must have been getting it from somewhere else. Cleaning the unit out was nasty! And management didn’t seem to be too concerned.
Thanks to Jessica who works there for always being really nice and helping me out when I need it.. never had a problem.. I feel safe having my stuff in this storage.. thanks again Jessica

* ONE cart only and they have it hidden in the office
* There is almost NEVER anyone in the office for assistance
* No access to restroom
Here we are with a huge truck and trailer and we have to unload everything one by one because carts are a “ courtesy “ per customer service. I wasn’t able to even speak to a manager or leave a formal complaint all that can be done is have my account noted.

Stored my stuff here for only one month and came back to find rat droppings all over my belongings. Very disappointed as this has never happened to me when I’d store my things at any other public storage location. Beware of this location as the rats are definitely here.
Made an online reservation with wrong date and unit size and had a small bit of trouble canceling the reservation it was able to make to corrections needed with the help of Richard who called me moments after completing my rental transaction. Richard was super helpful, professional and friendly. Feeling good about renting at this location.

I traveled there last month to get get some things out of my brother's storage unit, who had recently passed away. Richard helped me out while I was there. He went above and beyond to assist us with accessing the unit and transferring the unit to me, etc. I really appreciated his help.

We have spaces for years, went to complete applications for adding 3rd storage, and was told i can not we have only 10 minutes, there was no one else there but some lazy dude had nothing else to do can not help me, either you are open for business or not, lazy staff, could have taken 5 min, an he could still have 5 more minutes to do nothing and get paid, what a loser.
