Reviews
The staff of this facility were very accommodating and did everything they could to help me out. Dawny and Marquila helped me with every one of my questions. The business is kept clean and functional...I would highly recommend this storage facility!
Cortney was so helpful and informative
On Friday May 31st I went to storage @115pm & had an encounter with an office worker-a young sarcastic, rude, immature, DISRESPECTFUL caucasian girl. She said her lunch was over @130pm-which I patiently waited. I talked to her @135pm to get a lock off which should of been REMOVED on March 27th when payment was taken. I had to wait around till 240pm for the lock to be removed. By then my patience was about gone. I have NEVER experienced this behavior from any other worker before. Sending complaints to corporate also. This type of employee makes for us ending business. She should be FIRED!
The front desk staff are nice, but management is lousy. Whenever I've needed to talk to someone at the front desk, they've been happy to resolve my questions. But this place is managed pretty poorly: the bathrooms are often out of order or out of soap/paper towels; there are only 1 or 2 carts most times that I visit, meaning that if there's even 1 other person, I may not have a cart available; and prices increase without warning over time. I wouldn't recommend using this location or Public Storage in general.
RENTER BEWARE: Your rent will increase significantly over time. My unit started at $100 and within a year has increased 80%. This is a classic bait and switch to get your business and to trap you with the inconvenience of having to move your stuff. Avoid Public Storages so you don't get trapped by their scammy business practices.

Very nice clean new facility. Love the get in and out feature from my phone.
Horrible customer service. I came to gain access to my storage unit and the companies cleaning machine was blocking the way. Employee said I would have to wait because they were busy emptying a garbage can. (4/15/2024 @12:25 pm) I run my own business and time is money. Needing get to my unit to get material and can't because I'm inconveniencing an employee is unacceptable! 15 minutes and she still has not moved and I cannot get to my unit on the other side of the building. Only one entrance and rent goes up exponentially. Intro rate $263 per month, 2 years later $453 per month.
Cortney was very nice, works very fast, and is very good with communication concerning all of my needs
Cortney is GREAT
This storage is very nice, but the girl on duty when I visited on Friday was very rude, she needs some customer service lessons
Cortney was a great help
I highly recommend this location to store your personals. The units are very clean, up to date and the staff are very helpful. Something happened with my access code and the ladies assisted me quickly.
Cortney was great helping me by explaining my bill
Management was very helpful
Marquila and Courtney was awesome help when I came into the store thank you guys
The gentleman I completed my paperwork with at 2900 Disney Street was very efficient and courteous (he even laughed at my jokes). I've since needed to cancel the contract and move out and Courtney was extremely pleasant, polite and helpful. When I went there were ample carts, the aisles were well lit and clean. The storage room was immaculate when I got the unit and the facility has a wonderful drive through covered and enclosed area to unload and load boxes from your car while being protected from the rain. Exemplary - no complaints. I will rent from then again if needed!!!
Rented 3 parking spots here
Great customer service, the ladies up front Courtney & Que were very nice and respectful. Also helped me out trem
They do checks to make sure all units are locked up. Never had any problems.
I moved furniture out of my Airbnb property in Cincinnati back in April 2023. I moved this furniture into a Public storage unit at 2900 Disney Street, Cincinnati. After a few months, I sold as much of the furniture as possible and asked the front office to shut down the unit in late September. I also filed a move-out request online on the 16th. An employee at the location called to confirm that I had left the unit unlocked, I told her I did and asked if they could empty whatever was left (as I live out of state) and how much it would cost. She called back later that day and told me it would cost about $70 and I gave her permission to proceed and shut down the unit. Days later, it had not been shut down.
I had to call again repeatedly only to finally get someone on the phone later in early October after I had been charged the $100 monthly fee. I explained the situation and he said he could see the notes on his end (if I remember correctly). He said he would get it taken care of and take the $70 out of the $100 I was charged. I never heard from him again and obviously nothing was done. After that I couldn't get anyone on the phone so I decided to schedule a move-out online. I did that successfully on October 17th, 2023 for the second time.
To my surprise, nothing was done again and I received a call later that month about the same thing. I again explained the whole situation and they said they would speak to someone at the office. This was the LAST TIME I was ever able to get anyone on the phone at that location. Its almost as if they would know I was the one calling and never answer again. Either that or customer service there is even worse than I thought. Take your pick.
I called in to the corporate office and the lady on the phone said she could see the scheduled move-outs on her end and she would investigate. Nothing came of it, so I decided to take my payment information off the portal. My account was charged again in November. December comes around and of course, they attempt to charge me again, now sending emails and mail notices saying there is a lien on the unit. I really don't care as long as it doesn't affect me further, it doesn't go to collections or keep getting mail about a unit I've been trying to shut down for 3 months.
There is no way it should be this hard to shut down a unit it took me a couple minutes to sign up for online. The most frustrating part is I live in Texas, not Ohio. That detail has made it even easier to be exploited in this manner. If I could give negative stars, I would really.
UPDATE:
Either this review or my BBB review must have been seen. My balance has been zeroed out and supposedly the unit will be closed down. Works for me!
I was assigned a storage unit and was told I was good to move in that night. Got to the unit and there was a lock on it already, which was a frustrating inconvenience. Requested refund to avoid anymore hassle and still haven’t received it going on a month later. Every time I call, which I’ve called numerous times, I get the run-around and am told some higher up will call me back within 24-48 hours, but I never receive the call.
I work pretty hard for my money, it’s annoying when a business can’t follow through on what it is they are supposed to be providing.
It’s sad.
The lighting in some of the isles does not work and looks like the roof is leaking in some areas and they don't have any push carts for the customer to use.
I just loved my experience here! Marquilla help me find a storage unit that would work for me and mom. My mom is moving out of her home and in with me. She has trouble letting go of things and would unfortunately like to visit the storage frequently. She assited us in getting spacethat would fit our needs.
If I could give zero stars I would. They have NO CARTS/DOLLIES ever. We’ve been told to “drag our stuff” by management.
Dave was very helpful!!!
Stop! Turn around walk away!
I had a theft at my unit and after 13 phone calls to management I was finally emailed and informed that all of the security cameras are broken and have been for quite a long time (2.5 months) as of October 12th 2023 they do not work.
I spoke to Alyssa who's at the top of the food chain at a regional level over here and she plainly told me that I should not expect the cameras to work simply because the location has them. She did attempt to derail the conversation and wanted to talk about all of the location and said "not all locations have cameras" this was her canned response each time I asked why I was not informed that the camera were not working at the time of me signing my lease.
I did record the sales staff telling me that 2900 Disney does have cameras and that they work.
At 2900 Disney Street they also had a homeless women living in a unit for over a month so security is seriously lacking
I got it because of the location, however they start with one fee and increase it every few months. I moved out on the 1st. Storage was completely clean and they charged me for an additional month.
Not only this, some days you cannot get in and out due to people blocking the entrance and exit. Either get rid of some things or build your own shed. It’s certainly not worth the money.
Also getting in touch with customer service is next to impossible.
This place has really gone downhill. There are never any carts available to move your things. The inside is supposed to be temperature controlled but really feels hot inside the facility. The building is always dirty with sticky floors. You can’t access the building 24/7. Customer service is terrible.
Great
Nick was very helpful getting us into the right size of unit
This place is terrible. Rented a unit there for 2 years now to date. During they have destroyed my furniture with cockroaches, ( the place is infested), and raised rates by over 300%. I would try any other option than here. Good luck. Terrible and greedy company.
We love our storage unit here at public storage. One of the best features is there a drive-through area with large doors that let you in and out, but keep it air-conditioned. Makes loading and unloading for us really easy.
Extremely convenient location and great access
Tellessia was very helpful with getting my unit at action.the facility is very clean and nice.
I have had a unit for almost two years here. They increased my rent by $37 five months after move-in. Then, it increased $18 nine months later. Then, it increased $44 nine months after that. $99 in increases in under two years. My 10X10 unit on the second floor is now $156 a month. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Public Storage.
I have been with this storage brand for over 8 months. By all means Jessica is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Explains all the things you need to hear, always working and moving around the property. Makes sure it’s clean and shows customers how to just simply keep an open mind of the space when we’re all in and out of the drive thru area. One thing for sure I will never go to another storage company ever !!! Public Storage got it right with this one!!!
I don't use this service because I live out of town. But I helped a friend move some stuff in there.
It is super clean, very secure, and nice. If I needed this service, I would use them.
The manager Jenna is one of the most understanding and accommodating person I have ever met, knowing her makes me want to stay and keep staying with public storage.
Honestly it was hands down a great experience. Tellessia was very polite, professional, and helpful. Also the process was quick, and painless.
WARNING: ***GET YOU SIGNED UP, RAISE RATE AFTER FEW MONTHS! Goes up from there, read these reviews people!
The staff is very nice especially Jenna! It makes us feel safe and secure knowing the facility is monitored 24/7 and the staff makes sure to keep your best interests at heart. Also we love that there’s carts and elevators for easy moving stuff in and out. 10/10 would recommend.
First of all I want to say that Jenna was absolutely AMAZING. My company had to rent a large amount of vehicle spaces on very short notice. And Jenna absolutely went above and beyond to accommodate us and walk us through all the issues that we had.
I highly recommend this location and can say nothing but good things about Public Storage and more importantly Jenna who has been simply amazing.
Started paying $60 a month for a unit. After a little over a year, now paying almost 3x that amount. They raise the rate every couple of months. Do not get a unit here. Their rates you are given mean nothing.
I went to public storage because my last storage facility over charged me and was very rude. Since coming here I’ve been met with great customer service from her. I want to thank her for making the move a smooth transition. I wouldn’t take my personal belongings anywhere else but here. Thank you for everything you’ve done and continuing to do for me.
Constant issues with the loading bay doors, broken bathrooms, ever-increasing rent, and the list goes on. Friendly staff, but having a hard time justifying the price.
This review is more of a reflection of the company, not this specific location. Very deceptive business practice deployed by Public Storage. They get you in with low rates, let you get comfortable and load up your unit for a couple months, then jack up the rates in hopes you don't want to go through the hassle of moving out. 30% rate increase when their website shows the same size unit on the same floor for the original price I signed up for. Customer service said all I could do was cancel my unit and purchase a new unit to keep my original price. That makes no sense and is a pain in the rear for all involved. I am going to end up carting all my stuff down the hall to a different unit. Use common sense - if capacity isn't an issue, allow the customer to keep their original rental price.
Broke entrance doors, elevators and lights out in parts of the bldg. They will raise your storage rates in less than 6 months.
