If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache of using this facility. We moved to Omaha and had our belongings stored here until we closed on our house. We hired movers on August 6th and arrived at the facility at 8:15 a.m. only to find that the gate was broken (and according to the corporate office which I also called, they knew this as it had been broken for a few days) but no one was on site to open it manually. Called the facility manager twice to let him know the situation and asked that he call back ASAP as we were paying the movers for the time they were waiting. He did give us that courtesy call back almost 5 hours later. The movers left after an hour of waiting and it cost me $195.00 which I have asked Public Storage to reimburse me for. They have refused. In the voicemail I received today from the facility manager, he said he spoke with his District Manager and, "there is nothing we can do for you". Yes there is, do the right thing.
Update: Unfortunately, they didn't do the right thing. Lesson learned, and I will never do business with Public Storage again.
I was approached by a Public Storage employee while I was moving out of my unit. He indicated the review was based on him, rather than Public Storage. That's why I gave five stars. Now, I'm changing it, because he lied to me, and Public Storage will jack up your rent to unreasonable rates. Don't believe me - try it.
The facility was clean, and usually seemed secure (other than the extended period of time that the entrance doors could be pushed open due to a necessary repair).
I manage the commercial division of a construction company responsible for design-building competing storage facilities. I interact with these people on a daily basis with regards to all aspects of the business.
When I first leased a unit at Public Storage, I was going through a divorce, and needed a climate controlled space to store some expensive items. I paid $180 per month for a 10'x30' unit. (The company I build for doesn't offer climate controlled units, or I would have rented there).
Fast forward 3.5 years, and they raised my rent to $455 per month!!! At the same time, they are advertising that same unit for far less to new tenants. This is a despicable, trashy business approach. Public Storage should be ashamed of this nonsense. Reward new customers over paying customers who have endured outrageous price increases???
DO NOT RENT FROM PUBLIC STORAGE. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read this before renting or if you do already!!! It’s almost impossible to get a hold of anyone here. The manager is extremely rude and nobody is working during “store hours.” They make up their hours, and there is no way to reach anyone! My unit was broken into and my lock was switched. Neither the manager of the district manager helped me when I told them that the lock wasn’t mine and it had been changed. They told me I needed to call someone on my own dime to open my unit! I opened my unit and it had been completely ransacked and their ORANGE DOOR INSURANCE is complete garbage. Read all the reviews and BBB review’s. They are being sued left to right. PLEASE think twice. My lock NEVER had their stickers they claim to put on their for safety checks everyday, and coincidentally when the lock was changed they put their stickers on it. I had the storage for 3 months and NEVER HAD THE STICKERS!! Please don’t let that detail slip by you. I lost so much of my valuables that money couldn’t even replace. So don’t rent here if you want your storage broken in too, there’s no security. Cameras aren’t facing your units only the gates! If you think your items are secure think twice..

Im pretty frustrated and annoyed with this place. Their policies are stupid… and dumb… I loaded my trailer and missed the cut off time by 45 minutes to unload my load. I called the representative to see why I couldn’t unload my load… and she said they closed 45 minutes ago. I thought this place was 24/7 service like all the trash left at the bar at 2am. Unfortunately, it took me back to when I was a single man with no kids. When I would get all freshed up. Put deodorant on. $10 dollar cologne. Put all the work in to go over to a chicks house to only find I out that I’m getting an out the pants handy. I’ve had a very struggling life, and this is more inconvenient than that. And now I am stuck with my load and there is no way I can release it until tomorrow at 6 AM..
I would recommend NOT choosing Public Storage or this specific location. It is almost impossible to find someone there... business hours must be more of an idea for them, not a concrete reality. It is also hugely difficult to get in touch with customer service. There is no email option, only phone and online chat. The online chat is a joke. The Automated Assistant constantly kicks you out or says no one is available and to try again during business hours... during business hours. The phone representatives are likely located outside of the country and are very difficult to understand. When you can get in touch with someone, they simply tell you they can't do anything for you and to go to your location, which, again, no one seems to be at. Beyond frustrating. They also do not disclose they will gladly pro-rate you upon move-in, but not on moving out and will keep an entire month's rent when you only used the space for two days. Be warned they do not care about their customers.
They came , cut my lock off and replaced it with one of their own. I can't get ahold of anyone competent to talk to so that i can get my belongings back or to see if we can resolve the issue. Can someone provide an outside number or email that I can contact to have this issue settled. Since Public Storage refuses to help and judging by these reviews, they have a horrible track record they must be brought to justice and hopefully shut down. I say we start a class action lawsuit against them.
I would give negative stars and a poop emoji if I could. BEWARE: I have had my stuff in a unit for over a year, and they have continuously raised my monthly rate. I just paid my bill for this month, and they raised it another $10 without notice. My bill gave no explanation. It just said amount overdue— which it is NOT OVERDUE because it is due today. I can’t move my stuff out of there until this Spring, and I will never use their services again. I will warn anyone who is considering using Public Storage to steer clear. How can they raise the rate almost every single month? I have never in my life used a storage unit who can raise the monthly price as much as they have whenever they want. In fact, I have never used a storage facility that has raised the monthly cost while using their services. Something shady is going on. They justify they can raise your rate anytime because it is in the contract. I never imagined they would raise my monthly payment as much as they have or I would have never used this place in the first place. This is how they treat their customers. Shady business practices. Any good reviews are by fake accounts used by their employees. There is no way they would have any good reviews running a business like they do.
Impossible to get ahold of anyone, no one is ever working in the building.
Had to move out because the roof leaked on our car and ruined the paint and the storage insurance refused to help.

Customer service is basically non-existent. Super easy to setup and account an to get your business ($$$) but super complicated and difficult to eliminate your account or move units. Their IT system is Terrible and after weeks of calling without ever receiving an answer from an actual customer service representative and also weeks of visiting in person with no one ever on location, I still do not have a solution to my problem. I will never use this company again.
I have moved with the military 18x using storage locations every time and this is absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in 19 yrs.
Avoid this place!! Been renting same unit for 3years. It has gone from $60 to $115 and the manager is impossible to get ahold of.
If I could rate this company a 0, I would. I made the mistake of using this facility twice now, and I regret it tremendously. If I ever need help, have a question, or need to go into the store, no one is ever there. Even during open hours, the doors are locked, and there is no assistance. Getting ahold of anyone via telephone is impossible, even corporate.
I received a rude call today regarding a bill that was due ($12), I didn't have automatic pay set up, nor should I have to, and after I had made the payment via the mobile app, got two e-mails stating that I requested a password change, when I had not.
The e-mail gave a phone number to call if I hadn't asked for a password change, I spoke to Calvin, and he was not only rude, but was very quick to rush me off of the phone, stated that he was the one who had sent the generated e-mail's to guide me with the payment (which, are you kidding me?), not let me state what the issue was with that, and gave me an 800 number to call for escalated situations, interrupting me any time I tried to speak, which in turn, after calling the 800 number, got no response (go figure).
If I don't have to work with the representatives at this company, and solely worked by the app, I would rate it more, but communication is kind of essential when a customer is paying for a service.
Storage manager was very rude and increase rates when he doesn’t like you. When you try to contact him he will ignore you and then lie about him being busy.
Property manager is never in the office, and if you call him to come in he's extremely rude and aggressive.
More than once I've discovered the security door into the air control facility locked open, without the means to close it.
My mom got a unit here for $83, and when we went over there to swap it under my name the rate increased to $129
Did I mention the property manager is very mean? He'll quickly raise his voice at you for asking him questions, and don't even think about trying to break the tension with a light joke, he'll threaten to stop serving you.
Found another facility in Blaire twice as big for $75, air controlled. I've been directing the other tenants here there, because they too have the same complaints.
Save your money, go elsewhere.

9pm closing is inconvenient to access your stuff when you also work a 9-6 job M/F. All of your sites have cameras and it wouldn't be difficult to make it till 11pm.
Don't have a unit here, but speaking for the staff here, I'd have no problem renting a unit if I needed one! We had a package stolen from our porch and evidently left outside the storage facility's dumpster. Kirsten went above and beyond to find me and let me know she saved it! A-plus staff!
