My family & I were need of storage unit in kind of hurry due to water damage in our home. I called several places and basically got the run around & very high quotes. Finally, I stumbled on this place & the receptionist Julie was a God send. She was able to get me into a storage unit the same day, without breaking my pockets. I love that they offer several locations, with one being 7 minutes from my house. The units clean and secure. I highly recommend this storage facility to anyone and be sure to ask for Julie if you want excellent customer service, as well!

One of the best experiences I ever had is with Ms. Julie dooms at the Electra Drive location of public storage. She made it comfortable for me to move my things into storage. She used clarity and professionalism when explaining my storage application. She helped me get ALL the supplies that I needed at a very decent price. She even helped make my move out just as comfortable. I would recommend her to EVERYONE.

I pay my bill at this location monthly. Julie the manager is always so pleasant and friendly.. Not one time , that I have arrived ,was she not cleaning. One day she explained to me how to run the elevator, which is an older model freight elevator. And me being me ,forgot how to run the elevator. I called Julie and she did not waste any time coming to the rescue. She came , taught me how to run the elevator, she did not get upset ,but said," my job is to assist you". You can set up auto payments. I’ve been using this storage unit for several years. I’m paying $69/month for a 5’x10’ space on the second floor. Accessible by freight elevator and stairs. My unit has no climate control. Facility is not accessible 24/7. Check current hours. August 2021: Gate access until 21:00. 5x10 was $57/month in 2016 if I remember correctly.

Old but cheap

I do not recommend using this particular Public Storage on Electra. We were moving from across the country and called 3 times to verify the 10x40 unit would be able to hold our boat. Not once did anyone mention that the door opening is only 8 feet. After the boat did not fit, we had to pay for a separate parking space in which to park the boat and were told the promotional price no longer applies. Then, when we inserted the key in the lock they provided it broke off. It took the manager over a week to come grind the lock off. And finally when we were moving our stuff out, they saw that we had taken the stuff from the storage unit and canceled our code to unlock the door when OUR BOAT WAS STILL IN THERE! After driving 4 hours to pick up the boat, my husband could not get in. The only saving grace for getting it after calling for an hour with no answer is that the owner or attendant LIVES there, so he had to approach them when someone came out. We never contacted them to say that we were all moved out, and they took it upon themselves to cancel our code. This was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a storage facility.

Hello, On Wednesday Taylor one of managers Greeted me with one of THE MOST PROFFESSIONAL MANNERISMS ever! She told me everything there was to know about the facility on Electra drive. She was very paitent with me..I was all over the place trying to find something perfect for my mother & I ... You Got a five star because of her. This particular facility was not really perfect for me, because of the step only because my mother is not going to climb no steps ..but anyway to make a long story short after Taylor showed me everything I decided I wanted to go to a closer facility and one that would benefit my mother as well as me. No one was at the facility (Oh Henry Dr.) I was a little pushed for time at this point so my brother and I patiently waited and look who pops up Taylor with a smile on her face!! So come to find out she was running both placeses all day ...I must say AWESOME!!!!!! My brother and I was very impressed!! Mind you we stopped at another public storage which was fairly new but that one the girl seemed as if she didn't want to make any money so I quickly left out of that one...She was to busy talking about other stuff as she could see I was in a rush, but anyway PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Promote Ms.Taylor if you can ...PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE HER PLEASE give her a raise..She really deserves it!! Take the time to see that she is the TRUE and LOYAL to your company on making the customer happy. Mind you I was in a rush, just over everything with whats going on in my life and she was so patient and understood my situation! I had an online reservation. So I went in and I was greeted in a very friendly manner. Ended up that there was a problem with the unit's door ams it was the last one they had available in that size. Angie, who was helping me, was more than accommodating. She right away troubleshooted the problem and a very satisfactory resolution was the outcome. I have a unit and I am very happy with the way Angie handled everything! Highly recommend this place!

Simple, efficient and effective service! Sarah was very helpful getting me setup with my unit. She explained everything in an easy to follow manner, such that there were no surprises about cost or logistics. As a customer looking for a storage solution; ultimately, you want your stuff to feel safe without getting ripped off or inconveniences by odd rules of the storage facility. I'm glad I finally found such a solution that today and would recommend to anyone looking for a worry free no smoke and mirrors solution.

I can’t say enough about Miss Julie! I stopped by to make a payment on my uncle’s bill last week, James Alston, and I was met with such outstanding customer service! Not only was Miss Julie attentive, knowledgeable and quick but she was also warm and so personable. I've used this location several times but this will be the last. The women at this location is always rude. I had to upgrade my unit in June 15, the lady working that day told me my next payment wouldn't be due until July 15. On July 8th, I received a call asking about the payment. I told the lady what I was told and she said no you're payment was due on the 1st and since it's after the 6th you now have a late fee. Why wait until after the late fee was added to call???

I had problems with those business and I would not use their services again.

Johnathan, the relief property manager, restored my faith in public storage with his kindness and professionalism. Thanks!! Hillary was very mean, nasty and disrespectful though. Maybe you should consider keeping Johnathan full time at this location. He was awesome.

Had awesome experience with Johnathan, very knowledgeable.

Be very cautious about using this place. We stored out trailer here. We have since moved it to a more expenses place that is also further away. The security gate was left opened two seperate times from Nov-mid Jan. One of those times for over 4 weeks. We called on several occasions to inquire as to why and when it would be fixed. We received several different lies each time. We weren't given a refund and had to fight just to speak to someone. If they would lie about this, I wouldnt trust them with my belongings.

I made some inquiries today to rent a space at the Rexdale Location . The Manager was very helpful. I will definitely rent at this location when the need arises.
