This place is beyond terrible. Worst customer service ever. They gave us a massive runaround after after taking our money. Do not come here !!!!! This is a Kiosk facility BTW.

So far my experience with public storage Weddington Rd, Concord, NC has been a great experience. I was able to view my storage space, and it was the perfect size once putting my belongings in.
Increased rent without warning or citing reason - 3 times over the last 10 months. have not even been here a full year yet.
Edit: Just went up another almost 100 dollars, at least this time I received an email warning of the price increase. Time to look elsewhere for storage.

The storage is nice and clean, also it’s climate control. The worker helped me with completing the information that was needed. I also received a nice follow up call.
One thing i like for sure is the width of the aisles, a very spacious lot, so no matter how crowded the place is,it's not too difficult to navigate in and out.
Price is outrageous and it closes to early.

(04/4/23) Before I get into the main issue I do want to say that higher management has worked with me when I’ve needed assistance before so hopefully they will continue to be as helpful. I’ve been storing my belongings at this location for a year and half now and my rent has rose twice since I’ve been here. Outside of regular fees, I do think that’s a bit absurd & unnecessary. I have sent an email but I have not received a response. To raise rent twice is definitely getting out of hand, especially when it’s happening in less than two years.
I called to inquire about a unit and Bri was very professional and helpful! Couldn't have asked for better service 😊
This is a very nice storage facility but they increased the rent by $70 a month before a year was even up. That's almost fifty percent increase, that's crazy.
We have been a customer over 2 years now. Our rates have gone up so much without notice.
Anytime I’ve gone in to speak to someone, no one is there (during business hours).
I’ve tried to reach by phone, WHAT A NIGHTMARE!
It’s not to the location, I get transferred from one person to another and no one actually helps!
All I wanted to do was upgrade to something bigger! Guess I will somewhere else!

The place is certainly clean and has a lot of customer service capability such as contactless entry. But, the prices went up at least three times in 3 years, about a 90% increase over that amount of time. Once you're in, they know it's hard to move out. But I just did.
I currently have some of my things in storage at this location. To say that I am extremely disappointed is an understatement. I have been using their services for less then 2 years. They have raised my rates 3 times and I am now paying double what I started paying. With the last increase I reached out to them a couple of times via email as I thought the increase was an additional fee. They ignored my emails. I finally called and they pretty much oh well our cost of gone up so dramatically that we have to increase your fees. I do understand that prices across the board are going up but it was so substantial that it makes me feel like they are just trying to take it to us that are using their units. Going to now look for other options.
As a follow up to my original Post Brenda from Public Storage reached out to me with a solution that helped to alleviate my prior concerns.
THIS IS A SELF-SERVICE Kiosk location ONLY!! And if you call the #, you get personnel that are not local and can not assist you with anything on site. When you speak with someone in reservations or customer service, they are rude. The kiosk doesn't work all of the time. This location is a customer service nightmare. Thankfully, my recent rental they sent someone from another location here to assist me, but that person was 20min away from their base location b/c reservations dept said they couldn't tell me where a reserved location was in the facility, but that the Customer Service dept could....they transferred me to Cust Svc, who stated they can not see the reservations either. No one at the 800 #'s have a map of the locations....makes no sense.
Clean units. Easy to to use and great location.
Property manager Sharon was more than helpful. She went above and beyond!!!
