Started the process of getting our house ready to sell and needed a place to store clutter. Rented a 10x10. Set everything up online. Simple and straightforward process. Site is clean and well maintained.
When I tell you Darby at this location is the greatest! I was having so much difficulty getting in and out of my unit because the lock on it didn't seem to fit or work. And she came out and fought with that lock and did everything in her power to make sure that my unit is secure!
The only other issue that I had with my unit, is that of the ants! So, an exterminator or someone really needs to get out to that site and take care of the insects!

I'd like to say that for the past 6 months, I have rented from the 1001 N. Tryon location, I've noticed that the property is always pleasant, comfortable and safe, each and every time I visit. The manager, whom I call Miss Darby, is always available as well as polite, and eager to help in any way she can. Needed a storage place near Uptown and went to several near here. This was only one with a manager on site, eager to help. Miss Darby offered to walk me to available units in the rain and open them so I could understand sizes. I was able to rent a unit in 15 minutes after selecting one. The whole site is very clean and easily assessable by car. The gate operates by the app so you don’t have to remember a code. Very good experience for me. Knowing Darby is there every day makes me feel very comfortable.
