Worst place ever to rent from. While I was in another state working as a traveling hospice nurse I was in a horrific car accident and was hospitalized for 3 months. Now they couldn't get in contact with me after 2 months they sold all of my belongings and I have nothing. Contacted a lawyer as soon as I got out of the hospital

Saw the hours were 6 AM. Wanted to rent a new storage unit. I came in at 6:15. Waited until 7:08 AM. In case but the hours are misleading.

DO NOT MOVE YOUR THINGS TO THIS LOCATION. They go up in rent every OTHER month for MAINTENANCE of property they have NO grass NO trees to cut, the Units DONTeven have lights. NO garbage can on property & if you move your Belongings out, they Still charge you the full month rent. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Don’t bother making a reservation. I made one for today about two weeks ago and someone informed me just today, on the move in day, that reservations don’t mean anything and somebody else can take your unit if they get there first. No one explained this to me and I am in a very screwed up position now that I have no storage unit. I would’ve paid for it in advanced had somebody simply TOLD me that anyone can take your reservation that wants to.

I made a reservation for Saturday 8/26, paid the fees, but when I arrived my access code was denied. Called the office, called the other local PS offices, and the 1-877 number on their website, got no answer. I left voicemails letting them know what was happening, no response. Even called all those same numbers today Mon 8/28 and no one answered. So, simply put, I never even got into the property to access my storage unit... Finally got some one on chat, which is a tiny logo in the bottom corner of their website, and Keith couldn't care less. Refused to give me any refund. Terrible service at all levels of this company.
Any response of feigned concern from Public Storage will be as fake as it is empty.
This was my first time using a self-storage service, or Public Storage. I can say without a doubt that this was definitively the worst experience that I have ever had with any company.
I made my reservation online and showed up on move-in day to find that the plastic seal on my unit had been cut, and the lock that I was required to buy had been stolen from the unit. Since no employees were on-site and the office was dead bolted, I went to Lowe's to buy a new lock (standard, non-fancy as to not garner attention from would-be thieves).
Despite the business hours that you may see on the Public Storage website or google, there has never been a single employee on-site in the 1-2 months that I rented a unit. I have spoken to other renters on-site who have confirmed the same. The office is always dead bolted, with no access. When calling the location's phone number or corporate (which will only redirect you to the property manager), no one will answer and you will be asked to leave a message with a promise of a return call. I have not once received a return call or voicemail after leaving three messages over the course of a month.
About one month into my lease I visited the unit to find that the steel plates that locks secure had been cut with bolt cutters and my lock was no where to be found. Thieves had gained access to my unit, crushed boxes, and left dirty shoe prints all over my belongings. Luckily, nothing was stolen as far as I could see. I contacted corporate to discuss the incident to ensure that they were aware of the damage to the sliding steel plate latch and they promised that the property manager would be contacting me in 72 hours. That call never came.
After this great experience, I scheduled a move out. Moved everything out of the unit. Wanted to make sure that they were aware of the move-out in addition to my scheduled move out via the website/app. A paper sign on the office window indicated that I should visit two nearby locations. I visited both, and found that the offices were dead bolted with no employees to be found. These offices also had signs redirecting customers to the other locations that I had already visited.
It should also be noted that this location has had a broken access gate for weeks, so it's always open and granting access to anyone who wishes to drive around the lot. When driving around the lot you may notice that there are some folks who are living out of these storage units. The property is also adjacent to the train tracks, where you may find tents housing other migratory train-hopping folks. This property is extremely poorly run and there are a handful of threats to your property in this area of town. Stay away. I expected very little from this service and I was so extremely surprised and disappointed at how truly horrible this whole experience was.

I have not had any problems with management or anything wrong the storage unit itself. What I am upset about is the fact that my belongings were moved into my unit on September 1st. While visiting my unit on September 14th, I realized ants were SWARMING my belongings! I called the office and left a message, I received no communication. I called today, September 18th because my movers called to inform me that yet again, my belongings are covered with ants. I did call the office and spoke with someone starting with a K(I apologize to her as I forgot her name). I was informed that due to the outside location of the unit, ants COULD be a possibility. I informed her that it wasn't a couple of ants here and there, but TRAILS OF ANTS in my unit. Her words were "I'm not really sure what it is that you want me to do". She then stated that some renters just get some ant and/or roach spray. Once again, there are not one or two ants, but SWARMS of them. No I am not satisfied as nothing was rectified and now I am concerned about ants within my belongings. Unacceptable!
Great location, good rates for the size of units but in the time we've been there we have seen 3 units with people living in them 24/7. I truly feel awful for them but wonder why the management allows them to live in a storage shed and one of them even parks their car there overnight. My wife never feels safe going to pickup or drop-off things by herself. Super sketchy place.
Ms. Trisa went above and beyond her duties. Great customer service. I had a problem and she address it. I had ants and thanks to her it is gone now. Now I am not stress anymore. Thanks very much. Keep up the great work.
