My only qualm is that the ramp was poorly marked, if marked at all. On my first load in I completely missed that the ramp was there and loaded very heavy items up a flight of steps. Aside from that - this was a positive and helpful experience.

I had a great experience with Public Storage in Apex on Nov 15. Having rented through the Public online website, I realized afterward that I needed a slightly different space. I called the Apex office, Dee answered, was quick to check and find the space that met my requirements. She set up a time for me to come in and complete the transfer documents. I have to share a moment turned a potential bad day into a good day. Timing and the great customer service is everything. I went to consolidate some boxes in my storage unit.
While throwing up the rolling door, I accidentally left my key in the lock. When the door rolled up, my key broke off into the lock. Knowing this was going to cost me a bunch to get my lock cut off and replaced, I reluctantly made my way to the office (glad they were there on a Sunday). Great news! There was a guy coming today to cut off another lock. He would do mine while he was there as well. Because they were there on Sundays and I got there at the right time, meant I was only charged for another lock. Great customer service!
On a shorter note: Their general service is great. they’ve called me when they suspect that I didn’t close my door properly or if something doesn’t seem right. If you need someone to keep a close eye on your things, go ahead and visit them. I’m glad I did.

Was very easy to rent a space online and get started. They have both climate-controlled and non-controlled storage locations.
I have an account with my daughter and needed to make a payment. I called the office and spoke with Sarah R and she walked me through making my payment online. The website is super easy to navigate and everything went off without any problems.
Sarah R is super friendly and very accommodating and made the process seem like something I can do going forward by myself, knowing that she is only a phone call away.
We have been using public storage in Apex for about 9 months and We are so happy with Dee and her staff that we now have about 8 or 9 units. You will not be disappointed. They are always friendly and extremely helpful.

Great experience! Sarah R was super helpful and accommodating with our need to find a storage unit last minute. She even gave us a hand in moving in some furniture that was too heavy. This is the second time we rent a space from this Public storage location. Both times we rented climate controlled units. This second time the process was such much easier! I was able to make a reservation online, signed my rental contract, and get our unit ready in less than 30 minutes! The app was also really helpful to unlock the gates, so that was an added bonus for us. When I had to return our lock (since we already had one from the previous time), Dee was very helpful and got us the refund processed. Overall, I recommend this storage location!
