Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 19350 W 8 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI

I have a unit at the Grand River location and I was unable to get into my space I came to the 8th Mile in evergreen location and spoke with Julia and she left her store and came down to the Grand River store to unlock the unit and help me with the door so I can access my stuff so I can move out

I bought 2 auction units at this location the employee named deon refused to let me in the unit i went to go see my favorite employee of public storage lori evans at the 8 mile and greenfield and she was more than happy to help me and also asked the district manager to go down there the district manager called me to get my stuff out of the unit because he had removed the lock i get down there and deon deactivated my code so i called lori evans again at the 8 mile and greenfield location and once again sgehelped me

Let me say first that this started off horribly! I went to a Public Storage facility at a location I won't name and I'll just say it was not good and I wanted my money back. I then went to the public storage on West 8 Mile and Southfield and Julia helped me greatly. She want the extra mile in the attempts to get my funds back from the other storage place. She made a few calls to help me even though I didn't rent from her place that day. She gave me phone numbers to call so I could check up on my refund. So I must say that Julia by herself deserves five stars!

The rent constantly goes up. After paying late 9 days, I was denied access and charged a late fee. Its a pandemic going on. Absolutely no compassion. At 20 days they cut my lock off, then made me purchase a new one. I will be moving my things out and will never rent from them again

This is the worst public storage I have ever dealt with I wouldn't give it a star at all if I had the choice. When someone is on the phone begging to pay the balance so there property wont get sold and be told No over and over again. Ask to speak with management and told he can't hear you and will call back but never call by the time you get back in touch your property is sold. When I first got the property the snow wasn't shoveled in the door way and the door was broke. Then the so called nice guy as everyone says walks around with a Gun on his hip for everyone to see I didn't make a call at first cause I was rushing out of town. The fees are ridiculous. I have to start over now so I really hope that young man don't have a family and someone be cold hearted to him and his family. At this point there is nothing that could be done I hope that whom ever bought my things enjoy and needed it more than my children and I God bless youngman. There is no need for no comment.I will go to the higher command. The worst public storage EVER.Heartless people.Especially ROLAND.Take your money else where.

Really nice and neat facility. kinda deceptive with the first month free. Actually you have to buy a $20 locks. There is a charge for insurance and the month is prorated. Among all the charges the process is really smoth. The staff was courteous and informative. So far I've had a good experience.

I highly recommend searching out an indoor unit. Storing your things here leaves them extremely dusty and full of spiders! The doors to the storage units don't have a good seal to keep out dust, leaves, etc.

I love this storage place. Public storage employees are the nicest, helpful, and coolest people. They make me feel real comfortable. I always run my mouth telling them what's going on in my life everytime I pay my bill...and they listen. The property manager there is a real handsome guy. If you need to store your things, then this PUBLIC STORAGE is the place to go
