I want to share my experience today at public storage . I’m a new customer and I lost my keys and I asked Shante for some assistance. She did hesitate on help of me, She assured me if she located in she will let me know. Soon after Doing her walk around perimeter of the building, she gave me a call let me know she had located my keys. What a great day for me. Thank you Shante for all you do!

If I could give less then 1 star I would. They raised the rent not once but twice within a year. Until literally the last day I was there moving out they had no moving carts and several times I came the elevator wasn't working so good luck if your unit is on the second floor. The woman who "works" at the front desk is rude and of no help whatsoever. Not sure why she's even there.
No power when moving in and the power was out 9 months later too...had to move out in the dark
After 2 months they raised the money without telling you that. They don't respect the contract.

Best price for storage
This place is suspicious, and I wouldn’t recommend there.
I was stolen some documents and keys for my apartment unit, but the manager ignored issue, and the police just wants CCTV video snippet. However, there is no surveillance video camera inside the building, so there is no way to identify who stole something inside the storage if somebody committed identity theft or used lock-pick to breach the locks.
Please avoid that place at all cost.
I think there are some thieves or gangs are living there.
Just drove 40 miles to the location and no one is here
AVOID AT ALL COST!! Don’t be fooled by any review over 1 star for this location. They are dishonest and not accurate. They are meant to inflate their rating to make them look more appealing to unsuspecting renters.
I’m giving one star because I can’t give zero. I reserved a space and they charged my card. A week later, I go to move in to find the space was locked and already rented out.
I’ve called several times, left several messages asking for a call back to get my card credited back for the amount charged. Public storage has no problem taking your money but they have a huge problem giving it back for services not rendered.
Making contact with the location that stole my money has been impossible.
Listen ion give bad reviews unless it’s needed. But they allowed someone else to change our lock nothing was stolen but thank god.
DO NOT RENT from here….
First, the clerk that works behind the counter is really rude and unhelpful. She lied and billed me for the insurance even though I stated I did not need it then refused to take it off my bill. She stated I have to contact the insurance company. I get it!! she makes a commission from selling the insurance but I specifically requested that I did not need it.
Second issue- my unit was broken into and the lock was replaced with another public storage lock. I spoke with the clerk who stated it was impossible and that I had the wrong key. I had her walk back to the unit with me and showed her that this was a different lock and all she did was shrug and walk away. I truly believe she was involved in the theft of some of my belongings just by her demeanor.
Save yourself the aggravation of dealing with this place and just don’t rent there.
Tanisha was very helpful and courteous. She was even able to get my unit rent decreased per month, after I payed my past due amount. I appreciate her help. Thanks a bunch.
They need workers who understand what everything means. Yeah I should have kept up with payments but they need to mentally understand what “up for auction”, and sold are 2 different things. FOR THOSE THAT ARE CONFUSED!

Sooooo my stuff came up missing when they cut my lock off and my payment was late by 2 weeks I had to file a police report so I’d say hellll naw the employees are now fired but they still stole my stufff 💔😭😭😭
Good price and lots of storage space
We used this Public Storage to store everything from our house that we had just sold and when it came time to move everything out, our couch has mold on it and there was evidence of mice in all of our things.
I received the wrong rate and was told I would receive a call from owner to correct it. I have not received a call yet it’s been a month. A discount was added that gave me a higher rate than I asked for I would like a correction and a phone call
This was my first experience ever having to purchase a storage unit while moving, but Ms. Shanté at the front desk, was very helpful, quick, and knew everything she was talking about. Also, she made sure that I got the same size unit for the $1 month sale they have, which was a relief for me of course. She also showed me the size of the unit to make sure that, that was what I wanted to purchase.
Shante she was very professional. More professional than all the other people I dealt with in your company. Your company should be proud to have her on their team.
Clean place to storage
There was a mixup with my storage unit (my fault), but we were able to speak with Shante who was SO helpful and I thank God for her! She was pleasant and explained everything and got it all worked out! She is a gem and made my Public Storage experience so much better! PS is lucky to have her! Thank you Shante!!
Locked my daughter out and she had paid the rent because she was moving her things out. They just want another months rent out of her. As soon as she told the that she was coming to empty out the unit they Locked and told her they didn't have the key to let her in znd we had rented a truck.

Public storage in a whole has been terrible to deal with but the manger at this location is a liar. I rented a unit online and when I got there they didn’t have the unit I needed so she rented a different unit in another location. She told me the first price I paid would be refunded but when I called to follow up the guy on the phone told me since I “moved in and moved out” even though I only walked in the office it can’t be refunded. If the manger in this branch was honest about the refund I would have gotten the larger unit so I didn’t have to deal with any of this.
Update: So after leaving this review the manager called me and I explained the issue and told me she would look into it and called me back and never did. Now I’m in collections for a storage unit I never had and left 2 voicemails with no return.

I was assisted by Anthony, not only was his professionalism outstanding, he also went above and beyond his job duties. I recommend using public storage in Allen Park to all family and friends.
