Public Storage in Briggs Chaney is definitely one of the premium storage facilities in the Silver Spring Area. Very clean, spacious and very accommodating to all my needs. Their staff is top notch as well. I was assisted by their employee Brian , who did a fantastic job covering all the sizes available, providing a thorough tour and it's costs per month as well as my options Incase I needed to downsize or even upsize in the future. Brian ensured I was receiving the best rate within my area and covered all the main points of my agreement prior to receiving the keys. I will definitely recommend Public Storage at Briggs Chaney to all my friends and family😄..

The customer service at Briggs Chaney was great, very helpful and accommodating. Brian, the office manager solved my "wrong" online reservation problem, and got me into the unit that I wanted. I had a terrible and rude experience there a few years ago with different staff member, and was weary of dealing with them. However, I gave it a chance and I'm really glad I did. The previous staff is no longer there, and current staff delivers wonderful customer service. Very satisfied.

I am shopping early for storage space and pricing . Chris helped me at this location and he was super patient and extremely helpful . I was so surprised to hear him say , he haven’t been working here long and is fairly new. He was extremely knowledgeable and took me to see storage spaces several times since I was indecisive and not sure which space would be big enough . Although this location doesn’t have the space available I need , he suggested that I go to another location and even offered the address. He stated that by the time I am actually ready to rent the storage unit, there may be one available . He went over pricing number our times for me and explained their policy as well as insurance coverage. Great customer service is hard to come by these days , but the customer service received from Chris was exceptional. I will definitely come back here with hopes of them having the storage space I need.

I live nearby this location and stopped in for some packing supplies. I am currently in the middle of moving all of my things to a new apartment complex. Tommy was super helpful in helping me find everything that I needed. Great customer service!! I was also very comfortable due to his precautionary measures during this pandemic. I was looking for a 5x5 but there was not one available at this location. The associate, Tommy helped me to look at other locations to find one. He found one for me and was extremely helpful in providing all the information needed to rent.

I visited this location for packing supplies for an upcoming move and Tommy was super helpful, while practicing social distancing and wearing his mask. Great customer service!

I have reserved spot at this location 2 weeks and they call me and also confirmed me . I also ask them is this space is locate outside and He say yes . But when my date time to come in and do paperwork I signed everything and I have to pay $61 even they send me an email say that I only have to pay $24 for one time fee but turn out I have to pay 61 . Wait done not yet . After they finish the paperwork they show the space it not what I need it in side of the building it not outside. So they went back and they check and see any other place have that space open for outside. End up they only refunded me $21 the Rest I haven’t see it .So I call up 3 hours later and ask the about the refund the billing person refused to give em a refund. SHE TOLD ME THAT EVEN I DON’T ACCEPT THE SPACE I STLL HAVE TO PAY THERE $24 FEE . SO ANYONE WHO WANT TO RENT A SPACE AT PUBLIC STORAGE LOOK AT THE SPACE FIRST BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING OTHER WISE YOU WILL BE A VICTIM LIKE ME .

The experience with Public Storage was challenging because the computer system was down, however, I am giving them a 4-star rating thanks to the sales representative, Cameron. Cameron was amazing! This is my first major move in over 33 years and it is not making me a "happy camper." Yet Sharon sure helped put a smile back on my face. She was just so helpful and gracious. She got me all set with moving materials and of course a storage unit. Would definitely recommend this place.

It has always been a great experience when needed it, the prices are affordable and I will continue to use their services. I had the greatest experience with moving in today !!! I got there about ten minutes after they open and with a happy smile Sharon helped me sign up and move right in ! 3 days before Christmas and I was not happy about moving around that time but life happens anyway great place !

On the day I went to move my things in, 5 after signing the agreement, I arrived to find out I was locked out. After calling the 800 number because the office was closed (in the middle of the day) with no return sign I found out my account was closed because there was nothing in the unit and there was no lock. I advised the person who I signed the agreement with that I would place a lock on it when I moved my things in. They never told me I had to put a lock on it that day. After waiting for another 25 minutes someone finally arrived and reversed the lock out. I ended up wasting 45 minutes which I had to pay the movers for. Upon asking for compensation for the inconvenience I was told "I don't really see where there was an inconvenience". After calling the 800 number to seek compensation from "corporate"/"headquarters" I was told "we don't compensate for situations like this but we can contact the district manager and you can speak to him". They sent him an email and gave me his number. I called and left a message but never heard back from him. Luckily when it was time to pay the next month the amount was reduced. I'm still waiting to see if this was an error or done intentionally. The facility is convenient and clean but the customer service leaves much to be desired. To be continued?

I have gone through the array of almost all Storage Companies across the United States in the last 20 years and I haven't been treated as courteous and professionally as I did today when I came to rent my new storage. Sharon made me really feel that my business was appreciated. In an age where great customer service is seldom seen, she made me forget that was the case. Jacked rates up a couple months after moving in. Rented a temp controlled unit but they cheaped out on the thermostat setting and our wood furniture was covered in mold after it sat there for a year. Even checking out was not a pleasant experience as the office had a sign that they'd be gone for 45-min but weren't back until well after stated time. When you're moving your stuff out and busy with setting up in a new house, it's really inconvenient to sit around a couple hours just waiting to close out your storage unit. Would've rented somewhere else if I could do it again.

Let me begin by saying for the record that the location was "ok" but the sales associate was OUTSTANDING! I was personally not impressed by the facility compared to the layout at other locations. I could tell immediately why the prices were lower. The larger storage units were outdoor with the bay doors facing wooded areas. The smaller units were inside a building but not climate controlled. The facility was all on one level and sort of u-shaped. Needless to say the sales representative had to be good in order to get me to remain even after 20 minutes. Her name was Joyce and not only did she wait until I arrived at almost closing she did not act at all like she had no time to spare. Joyce was very knowledgeable about the company, the facility, the products, and even compared pricing for me! She showed me two units to consider and went into detail about how one differed from the other and provided me with details as to how I could maximize the space. Please understand that she was awesome awesome awesome and it was ONLY because of her outstanding customer service that I just may drive to the woods to store my belongings. Thanks Joyce! ~Dr. K. Briggs Chaney public storage is great every time it come by the staff are friendly and helpful Thor is the place to store!!!

Francis prepared my contract papers in a very professional manor. After all the paper had been completed and signed he explained the contract, when my next payment was due, and showed me how to get into the storage facility. He was a very polite gentlemen that was their to help me in every way.

Went in not sure what to expect. On entering I there was another customer was being processed. The attendant Francis welcome me and stated he would assist me as soon as he is finish the customer he was working with. I would not have expected anything beyond that. He continued to assist this customer in detail. Of course the area so small, I was able to hear everything that was going on. Before he was finished with that customer, another customer came in. The customer went and picked up some items from the shelves. It seem he has been there before the way he went about picking up his item. He too was welcomed and told that there were two customers ahead of him. He thank Francis for the information and stand not behind but with more distance between the counter and me. When the first customer was finished, it was now my turn. I asked the customer that came in after to go since my process was going to take a little longer. After a little going back and forth and my insistence the customer went ahead. Did not take long. It was now my turn. I am now with a certain amount of confidence I felt I was ready. I was asked what I was going to be storing. They were going to be personal effects. We walked out and selected one of the lockers. This process was smooth and this gentle performed the function very well. As a matter of he mastered it. Only to find out later this man has a Master Degree. I was impressed.
