Great and smooth experience for my first Storage unit rental which I did with Public Storage (PS). Stephanie was awesome; she reached out to me proactively, answered my questions and guided me through the sign-up and on-boarding process. She also helped me resolve a little glitch with the return of the PS padlock which I ended up not using - very professional. Site was very clean and which had access to instant help virtually.
During the week of my move in, I had a lot of hiccups, snags, and misunderstandings that the property manager, Stephanie, helped iron out. She was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and confirming what I needed to do to properly move into the storage unit, and I have to tell you, her empathy went long way toward making a difficult process so much easier.

I'm a longtime customer of Public Storage at 650 Eastern Ave in Malden. This location is self service but I still find it to be very responsive when the need arises. Recently I dealt with Stephanie to change my storage unit in order to save some money. She was friendly, helpful and efficient (and got me a good deal). I couldn't be happier with the services provided by this Public Storage location. If you prefer a full service location, there is one just about a block away.

I had to rent a storage unit a few months ago and I went with U-Haul. I found public storage to be a lot better. I was assigned a specific storage unit and the app made the self-service really easy. It would’ve been nice, however, if it link to a map so you could find the unit more easily. When I went to U-Haul on the other hand, they changed the unit I signed up for the one that required going up a short flight of stairs with no elevator access! Also, public storage seemed cleaner and better lit. Not only that but one of their employees called me a few days later to say they saw I had access my unit and to make sure I didn’t have any questions or problems.

I rented here for 8 years while living abroad. On my second to last move out we of course lost the key. I called and got Paul. He was great and helped us get the lock cut off. Since I couldn’t get there that Friday he did a temporary lock for the night. The next morning he was right on top of coming over to this facility from the neighboring one to get us into the unit. Great service at the end making us sure to go back should we need storage again.
Wow! Stephanie was so terrific! Definitely come to this facility in Malden or the other one just down the street and work with her. She made our entire experience smooth and easy—always a plus when moving—and was so helpful on all the little details.
