I needed to rent a second storage unit in Everett but I was unable to complete the reservation via the app. I called the 800 number and they could not help me either. I was advised to go into the location office for help. Help me is an understatement. Debra calmly took charge and prevented me from any further stress (I had been trying to get into the app since yesterday). She explained everything to me and even offered to accompany me to the new unit. Debra definitely went above and beyond to provide me with great customer service! We need more Debras around!!

They put a double lock on my unit door for no reason. I don't have late payment or unpaid balance. I went to get my stuff, unfortunately the office was still closed @ 9:53 am on a Friday in Broadway everett. Is that nomal?

Big thank you to Harry! He was incredibly helpful, ensuring our unit was clean and accessible and ready for our move. The location is safe and convenient. We had no problem getting our uhaul in the loading zone, and the carts and AC made moving in a breeze. Please take note of the accessibility hours!!!

Great experience so far. Location is clean and modern with plenty of security features. Units are in great condition. THe staff is excellent -- Debbie met with me a few weeks ago to see the unit and get a reservation and Harry met with me today to get me started. Both were super kind, friendly, and effective at getting through the paperwork and procedures to use the unit.

I highly recommend. Pretty nice staff, super organized, clean place and the app super easy to access.

She helped me figure out what size unit would be best for me, she made it back in time from her district meeting to help me out in store, and made the transfer process to a larger unit a quick and easy process. My experience has been so convenient and makes living in the city a lot easier!

I have been a customer for thirteen years and was planning on moving to a different facility because of cost. However, the manager who I spoke with, Paul, gave me some options I did not know about and saved me the hassle of moving.

Really nice space, I think pricing was reasonable and staff was always nice and friendly.

Worst experience. Moved in three months ago and booked online with promotion, they wanted me to do a transfer to a bigger unit on site. They will not go thru lease with you. With that being saying they charged me half rent extra because of that. I contacted them several times they say it doesn’t matter if I move in middle of the month because they don’t do pro-rated. Then I was like Ok that’s fine just let me know next time. And I booked move out on Oct 28 and hopped by the office, they say just stop by anytime when you wanna move out to the office. I was like ok I will do Nov 1st then. And before then that Debria mentioned I’ll have the 3-day grace period to move. That all sounds good until I moved out. They ask me to pay for the whole Nov 1st no matter what. It doesn’t make sense at all. They want you to do a transfer instead of moving to other facilities. They will do all means to keep you there and charge you more than what you needed. Worst experience. Once they know you are gonna move out they won’t treat you as a customer.

Joe's a boss, he got me registered and with keys inside of 30 minutes. Place has good security for a storage complex and the inside is bright and clean: the lockers don't have lights themselves but the interior lighting is perfectly serviceable. It's relatively easy to get a truck into if you're moving a bunch of stuff and the elevators are a good size if not mega-jumbo-sized.

Opening account was streamlined, efficient and friendly. Stephanie showed me where the unit was and how to navigate the building which was very accommodating and appreciated. Insurance and safety options as well as supplies were all offered and explained thoroughly.

I’ve storages my stuff here in a few weeks and I liked this place a lot. The staff is really friendly, especias Patrick. He was awesome. I strongly recommend this place.

Nice but pricy

They locked the bathroom and they where bottles filled with pee all over the place. Their was also lots of trash in front of the building and the front exit was blocked by overgrown shrubs.

I called in early but ran late Stephanie from Public storage called me to confirm twice and when I ran late to she kept the store open for me couple of minutes longer to finish the registration process so I could beat am incoming snowstorm. Real life saver!

The past month I have been asking for assistance on withholding my storage fee I will be more than happy to pay half but due to being out of work cuz of the Coronavirus they could not accommodate me and this is coming from Brian from headquarters which I spoke with him and he would waive the late fee what is that going to do no one's working no money is coming in every other place will work with everyone that's out of work but Public Storage will not I'm very disappointed the way this company is ran. I do not recommend this place at all as soon as I can my stuff will be removed there!

When moving in, Jackson was really helpful in getting my brother and I settled in in the unit with the limited time we had during our moving process. On move out, Patrice during what must have been one of her first days was very nice and helpful in assisting us with the closeout procedure.

I wish i remember the gentlemen's names that helped us. We stopped by yesterday (8/24) afternoon after reserving a unit online. The two gentlemen at the office there were incredibly helpful in not only showing the unit but also in walking through the contract portion and explaining what it says and how it works. I've stored things at several places over the years and barely gotten a luke-warm hello. These guys really seemed happy to help and for that i really do appreciate it

The customer service in this facility is a joke. I set a move out date . And after I moved out on time. I had to wait over 30 mins for someone to come back to the office. When the employee returned I told him my unit and that I am checking out. All he said to me was as long as your lock is off you are all set and walked away. 8 Days later I get a call from this location stating I have an overdue balance 518 dollars. So after 8 days no one checked the facility on empty untis???The bathrooms always smelled and looked like they never cleaned the bathrooms. Barrels in the bathrooms where always full of trash. There are mice roaming around on the floors also. If I could rate this place 0 I would.

Nice, easy to work with. Great desk man, believe his name was Joe. He was very helpful, and very clear with the paperwork and how payments worked, and showed us sizes of units before selling. Gave great advice, and showed us directly to our unit and made sure we were all set prior to leaving us to do our thing.

DO NOT RENT HERE. THEY WILL SCAM THEIR CUSTOMERS. MANAGEMENT IS UNRESPONSIVE. The business practices of this establishment are absolute bogus. I made an online reservation at the online rate of $53/month. I got the email confirmation, and everything was set. I go to the office on the day of my move in, and am quoted $71/month instead. Apparently, the system automatically cancelled my reservation (for whatever reason), and when the person helping me tried to restore it, the price was overwritten at the in-store price. The property manager ensured us that we'd be getting the originally quoted $53/month, so we signed the lease, and received a written copy of the incident with his word that the district manager would call us to adjust the price. A few days go by and no call from the district manager! I call the office, and they say he'll call me back by EOD. Lo and behold, he does not call, so I call the office again, and I finally get the district manager's cell phone. After calling him, he tells me to forward my original reservation to him. I forward the email MULTIPLE times, and he argues that he has received NOTHING. In case my email server was the issue, I tried forwarding the email to different email addresses, and they ALL received it. I even suggested that I send a hard copy of the email using certified mail, and he says, "Oh we wouldn't want to make you do more work than you have to." If that was the case, then he should have returned my calls when he said he would instead of me having to hound him down. I, then, bring up the witness letter that the property manager signed, and the district manager tells me that he will not honour that because we signed the lease, and that the property manager has no power to guarantee a rate. Excuse me--if that was the case, the employees should have made it ABSOLUTELY clear that that would be the case. I wouldn't have signed the lease then for this godforsaken place. I cannot believe Public Storage is trying to charge me $18 extra because of an issue from THEIR end. Absolutely horrible company with equally terrible customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Renters beware...everything was fine for a few months, but I received a 25% increase after just a few months. I called customer service and wasn’t able to talk about rates at all...very poor customer service once you are already moved in. I’m sure it’s a fine solution if it is only for very short term.

Due to the gov shutdown we were late on payment and risked having our unit sold. We made a partial payment and the handed us a receipt saying we had until the 27th to pay before our storage unit was sold. We called today so we could make the payment because we finally had the money, and they told us they sold our storage yesterday. 3 days before the deadline they not only told us, but is on the receipt, they sold our unit. Apparently because it's under new management.

They lock gate at 6 make sure you don't leave vehicle behind gate 10 minutes before, they do lock you in,and your stuck without your vehicle for night.

Kadeem was an enormous help. He answered every question we had with ease and in a very professional manner. We were somewhat confused about how the rental agreement worked, but Kadeem was able to explain policies and pricing in a way that was simple to understand.

We used this facility for a brief period while between apartment leases. Everything seemed great until we came back to get our belongings and there was mice poop everywhere. I expected rodents to be present in storage units but not like this. I put a few things in industrial grade plastic bags to protect them and mice chewed through the bags completely ruining some upholstery. The place was so filthy that I couldn't stomach bringing a large percentage of our belongings home. Invest in some pest control for goodness sakes!

MICE EVERYWHERE. EVERYTHING WAS RUINED. Has great reviews so I put my stuff in there for 6 weeks. When I came back, there was so much mice feces all over my stuff I had to throw away $1k of furniture and bleach the family possessions we couldn’t throw away. I’m talking piles of mouse poop. I spoke with management and they said, “if you rented a house and paid rent and then there were mice everywhere, they wouldn’t reimburse you either.”

Our space is great for dorm room storage between semesters. Staff, especially Jason, are always friendly and helpful, place is clean. Will rent again next year!

While no stranger to renting storage units, it’s my first time using Public Storage. I found the staff especially Jason welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. Total check in time was 10 minutes. The location is clean, easy to get in and out of and provides flatbed dollies for quick unloading. As a bonus, nice, clean, convenient bathroom are located on the first floor next to elevator!

This place is alright. Staff is super friendly and gives a great intro. However they’ll tell you that the insurance is required and push the option to purchase that addition insurance when you’re making the purchase but in most scenarios if you have a home or renters insurance , it will cover the insurance the offer and perhaps better. Taking another star off because they’re changing their hours from 6am - 9pm to 6am -6pm. Also the traffic to reach the storage place gets ridiculous at most times of the day and you need to go around a roundabout to actually get to the storage.

Just setup my storage space today at this location before going to work. Sandy got me up and going with a space in no time! Not to mention she was really nice and helpful with providing all the information that I needed. I've rented multiple storage spaces in the past, and I'd have to say this is by far the best experience I've had at one yet.

storage is clean. staff unfriendly its like your bothering them when you ask questions about equipment or the facility. there are only 3 flat beds for the whole place . and the place is real difficult to load and or unload because of the tight space to get in. at least they should get more flat beds and be more helpful and friendlier. Fantastic place! The customer service is over the top. The Property Manager, Jason was very knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful and explained and went over everything in detail. He even gave me a demo is the stylish locks- how to lock and open the storage cubicle. His colleague, Sandy at Eastern Avenue Malden location where I went first was just as helpful. The cubicles are clean and air conditioned. Would recommend this place to anyone in need is storage space.

Despite the posted hours of availability, I found myself unable to access my property multiple times when attending during said hours. The office would be unattended at a moment's notice and I would have no idea until arriving at the location (see my attached photo). Staff was never helpful and called me frequently to upsell me on perks/offers I had no interest in. This might sound ridiculous but I was called three times in one week about a discount on extending my rental one extra month I didn't need. Parking is abysmal. Bathrooms were locked a day my friend really needed one after moving for an hour. No employees were available to help. This was at 1pm. Save your money and time, spare yourself the frustration. This is a horrible location for storage.

Well-maintained facility, helpful staff (Jason was great to work with), streamlined process.

The people were helpful. After a long trip across 4 states. I needed help storing​ all my things and they are right down the street from where I'm staying. I didn't however get the " first month for $1.00" like I had been told I would!!!??? WTH!? Instead I paid $137.00! WHY? Give me money back!

Property Manager Jason was very helpful even when we showed up an hour earlier than our appointment. The place is well organized and clean so no worries about our boxes. So glad we found them.

The gentleman who signed me up(Andre) was incredibly friendly, helpful, informative and thorough with everything related to PublicStorage! He went above and beyond.

I found the woman Sandy who helped me to be extremely helpful & polite. She answered all my questions before I even had to ask. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean facility to store their personal items.

Sooooo....I won't mention any names but went to another storage company and my experience was so horrid I had to move my stuff, upon first making my reservation all the way to my move in, I received nothing but the utmost professionalism from the two managers Jason and Angela. These two individuals are awesome at what they do such blessed individuals! Thanks again, and I'd give 20 stars if I could! I will recommend this company to any and all! (Especially this location)

Clean building and convenient location. Just parking can be hard at times

This place is really hard to park at, the gate and front door are always broken which means that anybody off the street can just walk in.

It is very frustrating to come to the facility when needing to move larger items or if you have multiple items because they only have 4 carts available for customers and they are more often then not, not in the lobby area.

Jason and dylon were extremely helpful, they are understanding and flexible. I've been a customer for over a year and Jason is one of the faces I see regularly, he's courteous and promt. Great job guys!

I could not be happier with my experience with Public Space Storage and my choice to 'park' some my stuff there. I am a professional Magician and much of what I have stored there involves unique props. It was very important to me that I feel my equipment would be safe and well 'cared for.' The location always clean and the staff--always both friendly and professional. Today, I inquired about renting a larger space and the staff on duty--Rhonda and Jason were happy discuss every detail of price, the procedure for transitioning into the new space, etc. They were both extraordinarily courteous and helpful. In this case, it was Jason who actually gave me the tour to see the larger space--but as I walked to my car--I heard Rhonda call after me from inside saying, Goodbye--nice meeting you! That kind of enthusiasm is impressive--as is every aspect of this location.

I have had a unit at this location for 5 years and recently I have emptied out a lot of stuff out of my unit so I was no longer in need of such a big unit,Shantae and another employee helped me get a smaller unit inside the same facility.Shantae showed me the different size units available and helped decide which would be best for me.She was patient,kind,and professional and its because of employees like her that I continue to store my stuff at this facility.

Great experience renting a unit. Management was very helpful with necessary paperwork and ensuring that I was all set once I walked out the door. The unit is clean, as are the halls, and in my experience, carts are available when you need them. The location has done a great job with security.

I had placed a reservation for a storage unit at this location. I received a confirmation email saying to make sure to make it to the office 30 minutes before closing. I arrived to the office 30 minutes before closing with my one year old daughter in my arms. There were two employees working and both informed me that they could not do the paperwork in 30 minutes so I would have to come back. Rude, Lazy and ignorant....

Its a public storage building that will keep your stuff safe and sound. In my singular interaction with the staff, they were super nice. But past that, things aren't good... I've had my unit here for about 6 months and have come here about 3 times. The good is that I have a unit that's cheaper than most other places around the city. Other than that, the parking lot is too small and somehow always crowded. There never seems to be an available cart when you need it. And while I've used the bathroom here twice, other members of my group opted to go to the McDonalds for hygienic reasons. If you're just looking for a good place to stash your stuff, this is a good place to consider, but if you're looking for a place to regularly access, you may want to shop around.

Facility was clean and they had lots of carts for moving but... They jacked up their prices 30% a couple months after we dropped off our stuff. When signing up we asked the manager how often prices are adjusted and he indicated it was rare for it to happen in the first year. Unlucky us. Then, last week, we call to make sure we can have a Pod dropped off. They said that is fine. We call again the day before it is dropped off to double check that we won't have any issues. ... We are told we are good to go. Pod is dropped off, we fill it up and let them know the driver will be by the next day to pick it up. We confirm with the office that they will leave our code intact so that the driver can get in. This morning... Our code is disabled and our driver can't pick up the Pod. When I call Public Storage they tell me that Pods aren't allowed. When I point out we were told they were, 2 times!, they said the two employees we talked to were mistaken. When I ask why our code was disabled they told us we need to call the district manager. He informs us that his employees were mistaken when they said Pods were allowed. Claims there isn't room for them (somehow ours fit with plenty of room left for others to park, load, unload... Magic?). No explanation or apologies for the disabled code. No offer to refund us for the days that we had paid and now don't have access to use. The district manager encouraged me to let everyone know they don't allow Pods since it isn't documented anywhere in their contract and it seems you can't trust anything you are told by Public Storage. Today i went to look for storage and shantae and courtney helped me find the size i needed. I told them i couldnt move until December and they were very patient and understanding and explained to ne the process of moving. I look forward to storing at this location. This was my first experience renting a storage unit, which I needed in connection with a move abroad. The staff at this location were courteous and very helpful. They walked me through the process of accessing the unit, terms of the rental and other standard issues and answered all of my questions. The facilities were nicely climate controlled and clean. Overall, very good experience.

Emily and Adam showed great customer service and care when it came to showing us the unit and up seeling the mechandise. We were really pressing for time and they were nice enough to stay open for us a little late to accommodate our eagerness to get there on time. Never had to rent storage till our recent move. My bf and I went to the Somerville location and Emily was kind enough to explain how storage facility works and took her time to show us the facility. We end up picking the Everett location to store our things due to its closeness to my work. Adam at the Everett location was also friendly and helpful. Both locations were clean and secure, staff were efficient and friendly.

Absolutely most filfthy and disgusting place I have ever seen. The entire facility is infested with ants roaches and who knows what else. There were bugs all over their carts and inside the unit, which had a 10 inch layer of dust on the ceiling. Stored my items 21 days, spent 2 days cleaning my things off before putting them in my new apartment. Management was no help at all and their insurance is a scam. The district manager is a seriously ignorant unprofessional. The employees sweeping the parking lot sweep everything but the trash and cigarette Butts everywhere. I wish I could give a negative 100 review because this is the most foul storage unit I have ever seen in my life. The one I mystic avenue in Medford is clean from top to bottom. This one made me skin crawl!
